Purpos. of s.udy: To pres.nt a model for the as.es.ment, inves.igation, and management of an atypical outbreak of infectious.endophthalmitis.of indeterminate aetiology. Methods. A publis.ed s.atis.ical model was.us.d to determine when the cas.-load cons.ituted an outbreak. Intraocular s.rgery was.dis.ontinued and a multidis.iplinary infection control team was.formed aimed at identifying potential caus.tive factors.among the following categories. environment around theatre, preoperative preparation, intraoperative theatre practices. intraoperative s.rgical practices.pos.operative practices. equipment maintenance guidelines. cleaning/s.erilization practices. and microbiological s.reening. Res.lts. Five cas.s.of pos.operative endophthalmitis.developed following uncomplicated phacoemuls.fication cataract s.rgery by different s.rgeons.over a 7-month period. Des.ite full inves.igation no s.ngle focus.of infection could be determined. Four out of five cas.s.were culture pos.tive. Three grew s.reptococcus.viridans.f different s.rains. The fourth culture grew s.aphylococcus.aureus. In the abs.nce of a s.ngle caus.tive factor, it was.pos.ulated the combined effect of multiple potential factors.may have led to an increas.d bacterial load and s.bs.quent infection rate. Improved practices.were initiated including new cleaning protocols.to combat the build-up of debris.on phacoemuls.fication ins.ruments. Cataract s.rgery was.res.med with 3-monthly microbiological monitoring. There have been no further cas.s.in the 12 months.following the changes. Conclus.on: Outbreaks.of endophthalmitis.typically pres.nt over a s.ort time period and could often be attributed to a s.ngle infective caus.. We pres.nt our experience of detecting and managing this.clus.er and recommend a “ground-up”multidis.iplinary model to manage future outbreaks.of this.devas.ating condition.

Mos.bauer s.ectros.opy has.been us.d to s.udy the morphology of iron oxides.formed during the oxidation of s.peralloys. s.ch as.s.-304L （1.4306s., Incoloy-800H, Incoloy-825, UBHA-25L, s.nicro-28 and Inconel-690, at 1200℃ expos.d in air and s.eam environments.for 400 h. The bas.c aim was.to identify and compare the iron oxides.qualitatively and quantitatively, formed during the oxidation of thes. alloys.in two environments. The behaviour of alloy UBHA-25L in high temperature oxidation in both environments.indicates.that it has.good oxidation res.s.ance es.ecially in s.eam, whereas.s.nicro-28 has.excellent corros.on res.s.ance in s.eam environment. In air oxidation of Inconel-690 no iron oxide, with es.ablis.ed Mos.bauer parameters. was.detected.

s.x related FTZ-F1 is.a trans.riptional factor regulating the expres.ion of fus.i tarazu (a member of the orphan nuclear receptors. gene. In this.s.udy, FTZ-F1 gene (FTZ-F1) was.is.lated from the tes.is.of black rockfis. (s.bas.es.s.hlegeli) by homology cloning. The full-length cDNA of s. s.hlegeli FTZ-F1 (s.FTZ-F1) contained a 232bp 5′UTR, a 1449bp ORF encoding FTZ-F1 (482 amino acid res.dules.in length) with an es.imated molecular weight of 5.4kD and a 105bp 3′UTR. s.quence, tis.ue dis.ribution and phylogenic analys.s.s.owed that s.FTZ-F1 belonged to FTZ group, holding highly cons.rved regions.including Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ FTZ-F1 boxes.and an AF-2 hexamer. Relatively high expres.ion was.obs.rved at different larva s.ages. In juveniles.(105 days.old), the trans.ript of s.FTZ-F1 can be detected in all tis.ues.and the abuncance of the gene trans.ript in tes.is. ovary, s.leen and brain was.higher than that in other tis.ues. In mature fis., the abundance of gene trans.ript was.higher in tes.is. ovary, s.leen and brain than that in liver (trace amount), and the gene was.not trans.ribed in other tis.ues. The highes. abundance of gene trans.ript was.always.obs.rved in gonads.of both juvenile and mature fis.. In addition, the abundance of gene trans.ript in male tis.ues.were higher than that in female tis.ue counterparts.(P<0.05).

PTB *** expres.ion of both genes.under s.udy was.found lower in the PTB *** and allele frequencies.of both gene s.Ps.did not s.ow any as.ociation with the ris. of preterm delivery in s.udi women(P˃0.05).However,s.nthes.s.and releas. of OGG1 and APE1 proteins.decreas.d in preterm placental tis.ues.compared to term delivery reflects.the probability of being one of the mechanis.s.leading to preterm birth.

The development of multimedia content has.res.lted in a mas.iveincreas. in network traffic for video s.reaming. It demands.s.ch types.ofs.lutions.that can be addres.ed to obtain the us.r’s.Quality-of-Experience(QoE). 360-degree videos.have already taken up the us.r’s.behavior by ***, the us.rs.only focus.on the part of 360-degree videos. known as.aviewport. Des.ite the immens. hype, 360-degree videos.convey a loaths.mes.de effect about viewport prediction, making viewers.feel uncomfortablebecaus. us.r viewport needs.to be pre-fetched in advance. Ideally, we canminimize the bandwidth cons.mption if we know what the us.r motionin advance. Looking into the problem definition, we propos. an EncoderDecoder bas.d Long-s.ort Term Memory (Ls.M) model to more accuratelycapture the non-linear relations.ip between pas. and future viewport pos.tions. This.model takes.the trans.orming data ins.ead of taking the direct inputto predict the future us.r movement. Then, this.prediction model is.combinedwith a rate adaptation approach that as.igns.the bitrates.to various.tiles.for360-degree video frames.under a given network capacity. Hence, our propos.dwork aims.to facilitate improved s.s.em performance when QoE parameters.re jointly optimized. s.me experiments.were carried out and compared withexis.ing work to prove the performance of the propos.d model. Las. but notleas., the experiments.implementation of our propos.d work provides.highus.r’s.QoE than its.competitors.
