The purpose of this research is to obtain the optimum cutting parameters to achieve the dimensional accuracy of Nimonic alloy miniature gear manufactured using Wire *** cutting parameters investigated in this study are current,pulse on time(PON),pulse off time(POFF),wire tension(WT)and dielectric *** glycol,nanopowder of alumina and oxygen are mixed to demineralized water to prepare novel dielectric *** in inner diameter,deviation in outer diameter,deviation in land and deviation in tooth width are considered to check the dimensional *** L_(16) is employed for experimental design and multiple response optimization is performed using Entropy TOPSIS and Pareto *** indicate that pulse on time is the most notable parameter for good dimensional accuracy followed by dielectric fluid,current,pulse off time and wire *** glycol mixed demineralized water is preferred for low dimensional *** optimum WEDM parameters are pulse on time at 20μs,Ethylene glycol mixed demineralized water dielectric fluid,current at 3 A,pulse off time at 4μs,and wire tension at 18 N.

Robust encryption techniques require heavy computational capability and consume large amount of memory which are unaffordable for resource constrained IoT devices and Cyber-Physical Systems with an inclusion of general-purpose data manipulation *** encryption techniques have been introduced to address the inability of such devices,lacking in robust security provision at low *** article presents an encryption technique,implemented on a resource constrained IoT device(AVR ATmega2560)through utilizing fast execution and less memory consumption properties of curve25519 in a novel and efficient lightweight hash *** hash function utilizes GMP library for multi-precision arithmetic calculations and pre-calculated curve points to devise a good cipher block using ECDH based key exchange protocols and large random prime number generator function.

Performance Evaluation of Mesh-based NoCs:Implementation of a New Architecture and Routing Algorithm

This paper presents the result of experiments conducted in mesh networks on different routing algorithms, traffic generation schemes and switching schemes. A new network on chip (NoC) topology based on partial interconnection of mesh network is proposed and a routing algorithm supporting the proposed architecture is developed. The proposed architecture is similar to standard mesh networks, where four extra bidirectional channels are added which remove the congestion and hotspots compared to standard mesh networks with fewer channels. Significant improvement in delay (60% reduction) and throughput (60% increase) was observed using the proposed network and routing when compared with the ideal mesh networks. An increase in number of channels makes the switches expensive and could increase the area and power consumption. However, the proposed network can be useful in high speed applications with some compromise on area and power.

This paper comprehensively analyzes the Manta Ray Foraging Optimization(MRFO)algorithm and its integration into diverse academic *** in 2020,the MRFO stands as a novel metaheuristic algorithm,drawing inspiration from manta rays’unique foraging behaviors—specifically cyclone,chain,and somersault *** biologically inspired strategies allow for effective solutions to intricate physical *** its potent exploitation and exploration capabilities,MRFO has emerged as a promising solution for complex optimization *** utility and benefits have found traction in numerous academic *** its inception in 2020,a plethora of MRFO-based research has been featured in esteemed international journals such as IEEE,Wiley,Elsevier,Springer,MDPI,Hindawi,and Taylor&Francis,as well as at international conference *** paper consolidates the available literature on MRFO applications,covering various adaptations like hybridized,improved,and other MRFO variants,alongside optimization *** trends indicate that 12%,31%,8%,and 49%of MRFO studies are distributed across these four categories respectively.

Fog Computing(FC)provides processing and storage resources at the edge of the Internet of Things(IoT).By doing so,FC can help reduce latency and improve reliability of IoT *** energy consumption of servers and computing resources is one of the factors that directly affect conservation costs in fog *** consumption can be reduced by efficacious scheduling methods so that tasks are offloaded on the best possible *** deal with this problem,a binary model based on the combination of the Krill Herd Algorithm(KHA)and the Artificial Hummingbird Algorithm(AHA)is introduced as Binary KHA-AHA(BAHA-KHA).KHA is used to improve ***,the BAHA-KHA local optimal problem for task scheduling in FC environments is solved using the dynamic voltage and frequency scaling(DVFS)*** Heterogeneous Earliest Finish Time(HEFT)method is used to discover the order of task flow *** goal of the BAHA-KHA model is to minimize the number of resources,the communication between dependent tasks,and reduce energy *** this paper,the FC environment is considered to address the workflow scheduling issue to reduce energy consumption and minimize makespan on fog *** results were tested on five different workflows(Montage,CyberShake,LIGO,SIPHT,and Epigenomics).The evaluations show that the BAHA-KHA model has the best performance in comparison with the AHA,KHA,PSO and GA *** BAHA-KHA model has reduced the makespan rate by about 18%and the energy consumption by about 24%in comparison with *** is a preview of subscription content,log in via an institution to check access.

Statistic and econometric regression models were established in this study to analyze and predict industrial water demand,water deficits,and their future uncertainty in Beijing—a Chinese city with a severe water stress problem.A forecasting model was selected based on a modeling evaluation by comparing predictions with *** scenarios were designed to simulate and analyze the future uncertainty of industrial water demand and the water deficit of *** modeling results for industrial water demand suggested that Beijing industry would face a water deficit between 3.06×10^(8)m^(3)in 2008 and 2.77×10^(8)m^(3)in 2015,though its industrial water demand would decrease from 6.31×10^(8)m^(3)to 4.84×10^(8)m^(3)during this period of *** from simulated scenario illustrated that,due to the extreme water scarcity situation,industry in Beijing would still face a serious water deficit problem even with a very optimistic scenario for the future.

The basic unit of chromatin is the nucleosomal core particle, containing 147 bp of DNA that wraps twice around an octamer of core histones. The core histones bear a highly dynamic N-terminal amino acid tail around 20-35 residues in length and rich in basic amino acids. These tails extending from the surface of nucleosome play an important role in folding of nucleosomal arrays into higher order chromatin structure, which plays an important role in eukaryotic gene regulation. The amino terminal tails protruding from the nuclesomes get modified by the addition of small groups such as methyl, acetyl and phosphoryl groups. In this review, we focus on these complex modi- fication patterns and their biological functions. Moreover, these modifications seem to be part of a complex scheme where distinct histone modifications act in a sequential manner or in combination to form a ＂histone code＂ read by other proteins to control the structure and/or function of the chromatin fiber. Errors in this histone code may be involved in many human diseases especially cancer, the nature of which could be therapeutically exploited. Increasing evidence suggests that many proteins bear multiple, distinct modifications, and the ability of one modification to antagonize or synergize the deposition of another can have significant biological consequences.

Identification of Iron Oxides Qualitatively/Quantitatively Formed during the High Temperature Oxidation of Superalloys in Air and Steam Environments

Mossbauer spectroscopy has been used to study the morphology of iron oxides formed during the oxidation of superalloys, such as SS-304L （1.4306S）, Incoloy-800H, Incoloy-825, UBHA-25L, Sanicro-28 and Inconel-690, at 1200℃ exposed in air and steam environments for 400 h. The basic aim was to identify and compare the iron oxides qualitatively and quantitatively, formed during the oxidation of these alloys in two environments. The behaviour of alloy UBHA-25L in high temperature oxidation in both environments indicates that it has good oxidation resistance especially in steam, whereas Sanicro-28 has excellent corrosion resistance in steam environment. In air oxidation of Inconel-690 no iron oxide, with established Mossbauer parameters, was detected.
