The sample’s hemoglobin and glucose levels can be determined by obtaining a blood sample from the human body using a needle and analyzing ***(HGB)is a critical component of the human body because it transports oxygen from the lungs to the body’s tissues and returns carbon dioxide from the tissues to the *** the HGB level is a critical step in any blood analysis *** often indicate whether a person is anemic or polycythemia *** ensemble models by combining two or more base machine learning(ML)models can help create a more improved *** purpose of this work is to present a weighted average ensemble model for predicting hemoglobin *** optimization method is utilized to get the ensemble’s optimum *** optimum weight for this work is determined using a sine cosine algorithm based on stochastic fractal search(SCSFS).The proposed SCSFS ensemble is compared toDecision Tree,Multilayer perceptron(MLP),Support Vector Regression(SVR)and Random Forest Regressors as model-based approaches and the average ensemble *** SCSFS results indicate that the proposed model outperforms existing models and provides an almost accurate hemoglobin estimate.

The design of an antenna requires a careful selection of its parameters to retain the desired ***,this task is time-consuming when the traditional approaches are employed,which represents a significant *** the other hand,machine learning presents an effective solution to this challenge through a set of regression models that can robustly assist antenna designers to find out the best set of design parameters to achieve the intended *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for accurately predicting the bandwidth of metamaterial *** proposed approach is based on employing the recently emerged guided whale optimization algorithm using adaptive particle swarm optimization to optimize the parameters of the long-short-term memory(LSTM)deep *** optimized network is used to retrieve the metamaterial bandwidth given a set of *** addition,the superiority of the proposed approach is examined in terms of a comparison with the traditional multilayer perceptron(ML),Knearest neighbors(K-NN),and the basic LSTM in terms of several evaluation criteria such as root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and mean bias error(MBE).Experimental results show that the proposed approach could achieve RMSE of(0.003018),MAE of(0.001871),and MBE of(0.000205).These values are better than those of the other competing models.

Low carbon steels are characterized by good weldability,formability and fracture toughness ***,the low strength levels of these steel grades limit their wide *** the other hand,increasing the strength by increasing the carbon content and alloying elements deteriorates the other *** this study,the microalloying technique was used to examine the possibility of attaining low carbon steels with good combination of strength,ductility and impact properties.A low carbon steel microalloyed with single addition of vanadium and another one microalloyed with combined addition of vanadium and titanium were used in this investigation and their properties were compared with non-microalloyed low carbon steel having the same base ***,other two nonmicroalloyed and V-microalloyed steels with higher carbon,silicon and manganese contents were also investigated to reveal the effect of base ***,hardness,room and zero temperature Charpy V-notch impact tests were conducted to evaluate the variations in the mechanical properties of low carbon hot forged steel containing vanadium and combinations of vanadium and *** addition,the microstructures of the different investigated steels were observed using both optical microscope and scanning electron ***,the hardness of the ferrite phase was also determined using micro-hardness *** results showed improvement of the mechanical properties of the investigated steels by both single V-and combined V + ***,hardness and impact tests results indicated that good combinations of strength,ductility and impact properties can be achieved by V-microalloying *** with combination of V and Ti microaddition has much higher hardness,y.eld strength,ultimate tensile strength and impact energy at both room and zero temperatures compared with non-microalloyed and single Vmicroalloyed *** C,Si and Mn contents result in

Unified Fracture Design(UFD)bridges the gap between practices and theory in the hydraulic fracturing *** represents a technique to design hydraulic fracturing treatment with a particular amount of *** design could provide the maximum fold-of-increase(FOI)in productivity-index(PI)after hydraulic fracturing *** UFD optimization tool is very effective,but it has assumptions like any other *** assumption of UFD optimization technique;is a single-layer *** assumption does not align with the limited entry fracturing design *** limited entry fracturing,the frictional pressure is employed to offset the stress differences between multi-layers reservoirs to attain fluid injection through these layers,intended to deliver an optimal fracture conductivity in all *** drawback of this assumption is the underestimation of the actual value of FOI in *** paper aims to recast the original unified fracture design approach to extend the optimal UFD to a multilayer reservoir to predict the FOI in PI after limited entry fracturing *** recasting tool for this problem to find the optimum solution is Artificial Neural Networks(ANN).The architected ANN model is based on actual historical data of limited entry fracturing treatments.A statistical comparison between the proposed ANN model and classical UFD technique demonstrates that ANN model solution has a more reliable estimation of FOI in PI with the actual historical data.

The fabrication of nanostructures and nanopatterns is of crucial importance in microelectronics,nanofluidics,and the manufacture of biomedical devices and ***,the creation of nanopatterns by means of conventional nanofabrication techniques such as electron beam lithography is expensive and ***,we develop a multistep miniaturization approach using prestressed polymer films to generate nanopatterns from microscale patterns without the need of complex nanolithography *** polymer films have been used as a miniaturization technique to fabricate features with a smaller size than the initial imprinted ***,the height of the imprinted features is significantly reduced after the thermal shrinking of the prestressed films due to the shape memory effect of the polymer,and as a result,the topographical features tend to disappear after *** have developed a miniaturization approach that controls the material flow and maintains the shrunken patterns by applying mechanical constraints during the shrinking *** combination of hot embossing and constrained shrinking makes it possible to reduce the size of the initial imprinted features even to the *** developed multistep miniaturization approach allows using the shrunken pattern as a master for a subsequent miniaturization ***-defined patterns as small as 100 nm are fabricated,showing a 10-fold reduction in size from the original *** developed approach also allows the transfer of the shrunken polymeric patterns to a silicon substrate,which can be used as a functional substrate for many applications or directly as a master for nanoimprint lithography.

Changing climate intensifies heat stress,resulting in a greater risk of workplace productivity decline in timber office buildings with low internal thermal *** impact of climate change induced heat exposure on indoor workplace productivity in timber office buildings has not been extensively ***,further investigation to reduce the work capacity decline towards the end of the century is ***,heat exposure in a net zero-carbon timber building near Brussels,Belgium,was evaluated using a reproducible comparative approach with different internal thermal mass *** analysis indicated that strategies with increased thermal mass were more effective in limiting the effects of heat exposure on workplace *** medium and high thermal mass strategies reduced workplace productivity loss to 0.1%in the current,0.3%and 0.2%in the midfuture,and 4.9%and 3.9%for future *** comparison,baseline with low thermal mass y.elded a decline of 2.3%,3.3%,and 8.2%.The variation in maximum and minimum wet-bulb globe temperatures were also lower for medium and high thermal mass strategies than for low thermal mass *** study findings lead to the formulation of design guidelines,identification of research gaps,and recommendations for future work.

electromigration in porous media is enhanced by a new type of electrokinetic processing. Compared with a single -oriented electric field, a continuously reoriented electric field was proven to sharply enhance mass transport of several heavy metals in kaolin. The initial concentration of the metals was: Cd: 250 mg/kg; Cu: 250 mg/kg; Ni: 250 mg/kg; Zn: 900 mg/kg. electric field reorientation was obtained by the use of a fixed anode and a cathode that rotated at different frequencies (0, 0.25, 1.00, 1.25, 2.00, 5.00 and 10.00 r/m). Mass transport evidently increased from 0 r/m to 1.25 r/m, and then decreased as the rotation speed reached 10 r/m. From 0 r/m to 1.25 r/m, mass transport increased 2.87 times for Cd, 3.17 times for Cu, 2.11 times for Ni, and 4.13 times for Zn. We suggest that continuous reorientation of the electric field facilitates the advance of ions through kaolin pores, minimizing the retardation effect caused by media tortuosity.

Since Type 1 diabetes(T1DM)occurs whenβ-cells mass is reduced to less than 20%of the normal level due to autoimmune destruction of cells resulting in the inability to secrete insulin,preservation or replenishment of the functionalβ-cells mass has become a major therapeutic focus for this diabetic type ***,this 4-week work plan was designed to determine which mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)type is more appropriate to alleviate pancreatic hazards resulting from diabetes induction;via tracking a comparative study between MSCs derived from adipose tissue(AD-MSCs)and from bone marrow(BM-MSCs)in management of T1DM considering their immunomodulatory,anti-apoptotic and antioxidative *** were divided randomly into 4 groups;control,STZdiabetic(D),D+AD-MSCs,and D+BM-MSCs *** stem cells types in this study were ***,both oxidative stress and antioxidant markers were evaluated using colorimetric analysis,while inflammatory,immune and apoptotic markers were assessed through flow cytometric *** showed that diabetic rats treated with either AD-MSCs or BM-MSCs exhibited marked pancreatic antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities that were able to initiate pancreatic immunomodulation and reducingβ-cells apoptotic death,thus,help to restore their normal insulin secretion and hypoglycemic ***,AD-MSCs injection was shown to be superior as a pancreatic regenerative tool in overcoming diabetes;owing to their marked antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,immunomodulatory,and anti-apoptotic characteristics over BM-MSCs treatment.

Diabetes mellitus(DM)could negatively affect patients’health via inducing a lot of serious functional hazards in many tissues’cells at molecular ***,many scientists had proposed stem cell therapy being an appropriate alternative treatment protocol for numerous health threatening issues including ***,the current study was designed to investigate the antioxidant potentiality of two MSCs types in alleviating tissues’oxidative stress dramatic elevation resulting as a consequence of Type 1 DM *** our 4 weeks study,animals were divided into four groups:control group,STZ-diabetic group(D),D+AD-MSCs group and D+BM-MSCs *** reported that diabetic rats treated with either AD-MSCs or BM-MSCs exhibited a marvelous body tissues(Pancreas,Liver and Kidney)enhancing capabilities in attenuating the oxidative stress status;as evidenced by XO,ROS,and MDA levels down-regulation;with a general concomitant elevation in the antioxidants’content;evidenced by many enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants up-regulation;relative to the diabetic untreated ***,comparing both treatments with each other and to control group,most of the measured parameters were reverted back to near normal levels after AD-MSCs injection;which clearly point out their stunning health benefits and superiority as anti-diabetic agent in overcoming different tissues’complications;owing to their marked cytoprotective and regenerative potentialities.
