The isoelectric point (IEP) and zero point of charge (ZPC) of magnesium aluminum hydroxide were studied by electrophoresis method, potentiometric titration method, and elemental analysis. Results sh.wed that the charge of magnesium aluminum hydroxide was composed of variable charge and permanent positive charge. Because of the permanent positive charge, the IEP and ZPC obtained were higher than calculated. The LEP decreased and ZPC increased as X increased.

In this research,phosphate and silicate based ceramic flms were synthesized via micro arc oxidation(MAO) method on the surface of the magnesium *** the aim of orthopedic application of these coatings,corrosion behavior of them was investigated by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in simulated body fuid(SBF) *** results indicated better corrosion resistance of the phosphate flm compared to the silicate ***,based on immersion tests,less pH and weight changes were obtained for the phosphate ***(G292) Cell response of the coated specimens sh.wed better cell morphology on the surface of the phosphate flm than silicate flm after 6 and 24 h of *** was related to the more surface roughness and less degradation rate of the phosphate flm compared with silicate coating.

The pure spinel phase of Ni0.45Co0.2Zn0.35F2O4[NCZF] was prepared by co-precipitation method. The nanocomposite [(NCZF)1-x(Na(***))x] (x = 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%) was prepared by mixing two phases: ferrite phase and ferroelectric phase. The magnetic characters of compo-sites performed using vibrating sample magnitude (VSM) at room temper-ature with maximum applied field up to 2 kG. For smaller particle size 30.89 nm. The saturation magnetization Ms decreases linearly with increasing particle size. The effect of temperature on the electrical resistivity of the different composites samples was studied. It is noted that, the resistivity decreases with rising temperature to have a minimum value at ferroelectric transition temperature, above this value the resistivity increases. The dielectric constant increases with increasing temperature for all composites. The dielectric loss tan (δ) as a function of temperature sh.rply with temperature reached to maximum value at ferroelectric phase transition then decrease again.

In this work, TiO2 nanorods with uniform diameter of about 100 nm and a length of several micrometers were successfully prepared by the sol-gel template method. Also the influence of molar ratios of precursor on the morphology and structure of TiO2 nanorods has been investigated. The prepared samples were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）, X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The XRD results indicated that the TiO2 nanorods were crystallized in the anatase and rutile phases, after annealing to 400-700℃ up to 2 h.

It is well-known that according the Dozier’s method, utilization of integral of Planks function in fusion of signals of two different channels of airborne radiometer makes it possible to compute such components of temperature field within one pixel as temperatures of the object and background. In the paper, the generalization of Dozier method is suggested. The suggested generalization of Dozier’s bispectral method named as biparametric method is applicable for static remote objects. In the suggested biparametric method, the measurements are carried out at the moments t1 and t2. It is assumed that the object temperature reaches quantity T(t1) and T(t2) at these moments. On the bases of operational data of scanning infrared radiometer, the square area of one pixel can be calculated in dependence of distance between object and radiometer. This makes it possible to carry out location of static objects from two basis points using serial single wavelengths measurements of radiation emitted by the sub pixel object.

Bioethanol Production from Rice Straw Enzymatically Saccharified by Fungal Isolates, Trichoderma viride F94 and Aspergillus terreus F98

Egypt faces a high population growth rate nowadays, which demands for an increase in agricultural production efficiency. Consequently, agricultural field residues will increase. Rice straw is one of the main agriculture residues in Egypt. So this study was performed on rice straw as a resource for production of bioethanol. Eight microbial isolates, five yeasts and three fungi were isolated from rice straw. Yeast isolates were selected for their ability to utilize different sugars and cellulose. Chipped and grinded rice straw was subjected to different pretreatment methods physically through steam treatment by autoclaving and different doses of gamma γ irradiation (50 and 70 Mrad). Autoclaved pretreated rice straw was further enzymatically treated throughout solid state fermentation process by different fungal isolates;F68, F94 and F98 producing maximum total reducing sugars of 12.62, 13.58, 17.00 g/L, respectively. Bioethanol production by separate microbial hydrolysis and fermentation (sh.) process of rice straw hydrolysate was performed by the two selected fungal isolates;Trichoderma viride F94 and Aspergillus terreus F98 and two yeast isolates (Y26 and Y39). The two yeast isolates have been identified by 18S, RNA as Candida tropicalis Y26 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae Y39. sh. processes by F94 and Y26 produced 45 gallon/ton rice straw while that of F98 and Y39 produced 50 gallon/ton rice straw.

Cleaning method of InSb [111] B of n-InSb [111] A/B for the growth of epitaxial layers by liquid phase epitaxy

The crystal structure of InSb [111] A/B surfaces sh.ws that this structure is polarized. This means that the surfaces of InSb [111] A and InSb [1^-1^- 1^-] B contain two different crystallized directions and they have different physical and chemical properties. Experiments were carried out on the InSb [ 111 ] A/B surfaces, sh.wing that tartaric acid etchant could create a very smooth surface on the InSb [1^-1^- 1^-] B without any traces of oxides and etch pit but simultaneously create etch pit on InSb [ 111 ] A surfaces. After lapping and polish.ng, some particles remained on the InSb [1^-1^- 1^-] B surface, they could not be removed easily by standard cleaning process and if these particles remain on the surface of the substrate, the growth layer was not uniform and some island-like regions were observed. The purpose of this work is to remove these particles on the lnSb [1^-1^- 1^-] B surface. Some morphology images of both surfaces, InSb [11 1] A/B, will be presented.
