Visible light-driven valorization of biomass has recently been a pioneering field for nitrogen-containing heterocyclics syntheses due to its sustainable ***,various aromatic ring-doped g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheets(Ar-g-C_(3)N_(4);Ar=Py,Pm,Ph)were precisely designed to modulate their intrinsic electronic and band structure,which involves pyridine(Py),pyrimidine(Pm),and benzene(Ph)-doped g-C_(3)N_(4).Photocatalysts(CoPc/Ar-g-C_(3)N_(4)) of cobalt(II)phthalocyanine(CoPc)-fabricated Ar-g-C_(3)N_(4) were then developed for oxidative cyclization of furoin with 1,2-phenylenediamines for syntheses of various biomass-derived quinoxalines under visible-light *** catalytic activity(in terms of TOFs)of serial CoPc/Ar-g-C_(3)N_(4) samples increased with their transient photocurrents with CoPc/Py-g-C_(3)N_(4) as the most active *** CoPc/Py-g-C_(3)N_(4),CoPc species functioned as both sensitizer and catalytic sites;while,doped Py led to a narrowed bandgap *** research further demonstrated that O_(2) was activated to superoxide radical(·O_(2)^(-)) by photoexcited high-level-energy electron(HLEE)transfer from Py-g-C_(3)N_(4) to CoPc for the subsequent aerobic oxidation.

A new Fe_(3)O_(4) magnetic nanoparticles supported manganese salen complex was successfully prepared by at-taching manganese acetates to a novel N,N'-bis(salicylidine)ethylenediamine ligand functionalized Fe_(3)O_(4).The as-prepared catalyst was characterized by TGA,XRD,FTIR,VSM,and *** was found to be an efficient cata-lyst for the synthesis of benzopyranopyrimidines in aqueous *** catalytic activity and ease of recovery from the reaction mixture using external magnet,and several reuse times without significant losses in performance are additional eco-friendly attributes of this catalytic system.

A comparative study of physicochemical and photocatalytic properties of visible light responsive Fe,Gd and P single and tri-doped TiO_2 nanomaterials

High performance Fe-Gd-P tri-doped TiO2 nanoparticles （1 at% for each dopant） were successfully synthesized by a modified sol-gel method. Various analytical and spectroscopic techniques were carried out to determine the physicochemical properties of the prepared samples, including XRD, EDX, FESEM, BET, FFIR, XPS, PL, EIS and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activities of prepared samples were evaluated by photo degradation of methyl orange （MO） and 4-chlorophenol （4- CP） as model pollutants under visible light irradiation. Effects of each dopant on different properties of TiO2 nanoparticles were investigated. Results show that Gd and P doping enhances Ti02 surface textural properties by forming Ti O Gd and Ti-O-P bonds. It is found that Gd plays a superior role in increasing oxygen vacancies and organic species on TiO2 surface. Gd doping also facilitates transferring of the photo-induced charge carriers to the surface adsorbed species. The enhanced electronic band structure and visible light response, as well as high electron lifetime of Fe-Gd-P tri-doped sample is mainly attributed to Fe and Gd doping. The tri-doped TiO2 with rate constant ofkapp - 1.28 ~ 10-2 min-1 for MO and kapp ~ 0.94 ~ 10-2 min-1 for 4-CP, shows the highest photodegradation rate among all samples including undoped and single doped samples. The improved photocatalytic performance of Fe-Gd-P tri- doped Ti02 is due to the synergistic effect of enhanced surface chemistry and textural properties, increased number of surface adsorbed hydroxyl groups and organic species, improved visible light ab- sorption, increased lifetime of the photo-induced electron/hole pairs and boosted interfacial charge transfer.

The purpose of this paper is to study the characteristics of the combined convection heat transfer and a micropolar nanofluid flow passing through an impermeable stretching sheet in a porous *** nanofluid flow field is affected by a magnetic field perpendicular to the *** dynamic viscosity of the micropolar nanofluid changes under the influence of the magnetic *** continuity,linear momentum,angular momentum,and energy equations are first simplified using the order of magnitude technique that,along with the applied boundary conditions and the definition of the appropriate parameters,are transferred to the similarity space using the similarity *** the resulting equations are solved using the Runge–Kutta *** distinction of the macroscale and microscale flow fields and temperature fields resulting from different nanoparticle shapes was *** the Hartmann number,the vortex viscosity parameter,the magnetic parameter,the nanoparticle volume fraction,and the permeability parameter of the porous media increased the surface friction on the *** the vortex viscosity parameter,the magnetic parameter,and the volume fraction of the nanoparticles increases the Nusselt number.

Success criteria analysis(SCA) bridges the gap between deterministic and probabilistic approaches for risk assessment of complex systems. To develop a risk model,SCA evaluates systems behaviour in response to postulated accidents using deterministic approach to provide required information for the probabilistic model. A systematic framework is proposed in this article for extracting the front line systems success criteria. In this regard, available approaches are critically reviewed and technical challenges are discussed. Application of the proposed methodology is demonstrated on a typical Westinghouse-type nuclear power plant. Steam generator tube rupture is selected as the postulated accident. The methodology is comprehensive and general; therefore, it can be implemented on the other types of plants and complex systems.

The anthropogenic CO_(2) emission is contributed to the rapid increase in CO_(2) *** the current study the anthropogenic CO_(2) emission in the Middle East(ME)is investigated using 6 years columnaveraged CO_(2) dry air mole fraction(XCO_(2))observation from Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2(OCO-2)*** this way,the XCO_(2) anomaly(DXCO_(2))as the detrended and deseasonalized term of OCO-2XCO_(2) product,was computed and compared to provide the direct spacebased anthropogenic CO_(2) emission *** a result,the high positive and negative DXCO_(2) values have corresponded to the major sources such as oil and gas industries,and growing seasons over ME,***,the Open-source Data Inventory for Anthropogenic CO_(2)(ODIAC)emission and the gross primary productivity(GPP)were utilized in exploring the DXCO_(2) relation with human and natural driving *** results showed the capability of DXCO_(2) maps in detecting CO_(2) emission fluctuations in defined periods were detectible in daily to annual *** simplicity and accuracy of the method in detecting the man-made and natural driving factors including the main industrial areas,megacities,or local changes due to COVID-19 pandemic or geopolitical situations as well as the vegetation absorption and biomass burning is the key point that provides the environmental managers and policymakers with valuable and accessible information to control and ultimately reduce the CO_(2) emission over critical regions.

Multi terminal VSC-HVDC systems are a promising solution to the problem of connecting offshore wind farms to AC *** power sharing and appropriate control of DC-link voltages are essential and must be maintained dur-ing the operation of VSC-MTDC systems,particularly in post-contingency *** traditional droop control methods cannot satisfy these requirements,and accordingly,this paper proposes a novel centralized control strategy based on a look-up table to ensure optimal power sharing and minimum DC voltage deviation immediately during post-contingency conditions by considering converter *** also reduces destructive effects(e.g.,frequency devia-tion)on onshore AC grids and guarantees the stable operation of the entire MTDC *** proposed look-up table is an array of data that relates operating conditions to optimal droop coefficients and is determined according to N-1 contingency analysis and a linearized system *** constraints and contingencies such as wind power changes,converter outage,and DC line disconnection are considered in its formation *** performed on a 4-terminal VSC-MTDC system in the MATLAB-Simulink environment validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control strategy.
