BACKGROUND Following the global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),unlike other vaccines,COVID-19 vaccines were developed and commercialized in a relatively short period of *** large-scale administration of this vaccine in a short time-period led to various unexpected side effects,including severe cytopenia and thrombosis with thrombocytopenia *** many reports on adverse reactions,vaccination was necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19;thus,it is essential to understand and discuss various cases of adverse reactions after *** SUMMARY A 77-year-old woman was administered the second dose of Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 *** vaccination she experienced fever,myalgia,and *** were subsequently administered for several days,but there was no improvement in the *** patient showed severe thrombocytopenia and *** and abdominopelvic computed tomography showed no infection related findings,but splenomegaly and cirrhotic liver features were observed.A large number of immature cells were observed in the peripheral blood smear;thus,bone marrow examination was performed for acute ***,there were no *** patient recovered after administration of hepatotoxins and transfusion treatment for cytopenia and was diagnosed with an adverse reaction to COVID-19 *** Adverse reactions of vaccination could be mistaken for hematologic malignancies including *** report a patient with leukocytosis following COVID-19 vaccination.

BACKGROUND Non-secretory multiple myeloma(MM)is a rare condition that accounts for only 3%of MM cases and is defined by normal serum and urine immunofixation and a normal serum free light chain ***-secretory MM with multiple extramedullary plasmacytomas derived from endobronchial lesions is extremely rare and can be misdiagnosed as metastasis of solid *** SUMMARY A 36-year-old man presented with progressive facial swelling and nasal congestion with *** imaging studies revealed an endobronchial mass in the left bronchus and a large left maxillary mass with multiple destructive bone metastatic *** initially presented with lung cancer and multiple ***,pathologic reports showed multiple extramedullary plasmacytomas in the left maxilla and the left *** was no change in the serum and urine monoclonal protein levels,and no abnormalities were observed in laboratory examinations,including hemoglobin,calcium,and creatinine *** bone marrow was hypercellular,with 13.49%plasma *** patient was diagnosed with non-secretory MM expressed as multiple extramedullary plasmacytomas with endobronchial lesions in a rare *** therapy for symptomatic lesions with high-dose dexamethasone was started,and the size of the left maxillary sinus lesion dramatically *** the future,chemotherapy will be administered to control lesions in other *** We present a rare case of non-secretory MM with multiple extramedullary plasmacytoma with an endobronchial lesion.

The effect of Ce content(0–1.6 wt.%)on the modification of Mg_(2)Si phase in the as-cast Mg-5Al-2Si alloy was *** original Chinese script type Mg_(2)Si phase was refined distinctly and transformed to dispersive block shape gradually by adding Ce *** length of Chinese script type Mg_(2)Si phase was reduced from 110 to 50μm with increasing Ce content to 1.6 wt.%.The results calculated by Pandat software indicated that the added Ce element first combined with Si to form CeSi_(2)phase,which could serve as the heterogeneous nucleation of Mg_(2)Si phase due to the small lattice mismatch of 7.97%.The modification of Mg_(2)Si phase was mainly attributed to the facts that Ce changed the growth steps of Mg_(2)Si phase and CeSi_(2)promoted the nucleation of Mg_(2)Si *** increasing Ce content from 0 wt.%to 1.6 wt.%,the YS,UTS and EL at 150℃were improved from 67.7 MPa,91.2 MPa and 1.6%to 84.2 MPa,128 MPa and 7.5%,respectively.

We report here a case of an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor in the retroperitoneum, which mimicked a germ cell tumor of the undescended testis. A 75-year-old healthy man presented with a palpable abdominal mass. On the computed tomography image, there was large, well-defined soft tissue mass in the left side of the retroperitoneum, and there was no visible left testis or seminal vesicle. After contrast enhancement, the mass appeared to be relatively homogeneous, considering its large size. With ultrasonography, it appeared as a well-defined, hypoechoic mass with intratumoral vascularity. This solid mass was surgically diagnosed as an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor.

利用X射线衍射、光学显微镜和扫描电镜等分析测试手段,研究了不同Ce添加量对重力铸造Mg-5Al-2Si合金显微组织和力学性能的影响规律。结果表明,添加Ce以后,合金中主要存在α-Mg相、汉字状Mg2Si相、多边形Mg2Si相、细小的Al11Ce3和CeSi2相;稀土Ce的加入改变了合金中Mg2Si相的尺寸、形貌与分布;随着Ce含量增加,汉字状Mg2Si相的平均长度大幅度减小,共晶Mg2Si相的形貌由粗大的汉字状转变为多边形状;当Ce添加量为0.4%时,试验合金的力学性能达到最佳,而增加至0.8%时,合金的力学性能反而下降。拉伸断口形貌也揭示了合金的力学性能情况。因此,适当的Ce添加量(0.4%)可以有效地改性Mg2Si相,从而提高合金的强度和伸长率。

Monolayer barriers called evapotranspiration (ET) covers were developed as alternative final cover systems in waste landfills but high-quality soil remains a limiting factor in these cover systems. Coal bottom ash was evaluated to be a very good alternative to soil in previous tests and a combination of soil (65% ***-1) and coal bottom ash (35% ***-1) was evaluated to be the most feasible materials for ET cover systems. In our pot test, selected manure compost as soil amendment for the composite ET cover system, which was made of soil and bottom ash at ca. 40 ***-1 application level was very effective to promote vegetation growth of three plants;namely, garden cosmos (Cosmosbipinnatus), Chinese bushclover (Lespedezacuneata), and leafy lespedeza (Lespedeza cyrtobotrya). To evaluate the effect of compost application on plant growth in an ET vegetative cover system, two couples of lysimeters, packed with soil and a mixture of soil and bottom ash, were installed in a pilot landfill cover system in 2007. Manure composts were applied at the rates of 0 and ?40 ***-11before sowing the five plant species, ***-bush (Amorphafruticosa), Japanese mugwort (Artemisia princeps, Arundinella hirta, Lespedezacuneata, and Lespedezacyrtobotrya). Unseeded native plant (green foxtail,Setaria viridis) was dominant in all treatments in the 1st year after installation while the growth of the sown plants significantly improved over the years. Total biomass productivity significantly increased with manure compost application, and more significantly increased in the composite ET cover made of soil and bottom ash treatment compared to the single soil ET cover, mainly due to more improved soil nutrient levels promoting vegetation growth and maintaining the vegetation system. Epoxy-based nano-composites can be ideal electromagnetic interference(EMI)-shielding materials owing to their lightness,chemical inertness,and mechanical ***,poor conductivity and brittleness of the epoxy resin are challenges for fast-growing portable and flexible EMI-shielding applications,such as smart wristband,medical cloth,aerospace,and military *** this study,we explored hybrid nanofillers of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO)as conductive inks and polyester fabrics(PFs)as a substrate for flexible EMI-shielding *** highest electrical conductivity and fracture toughness of the SWCNT/rGO/PF/epoxy composites were 30.2 S m^(−1)and 38.5 MPa m^(1/2),which are~270 and 65%enhancement over those of the composites without SWCNTs,*** mechanical durability was demonstrated by stable electrical conductivity retention during 1000 cycles of bending *** EMI-shielding effectiveness of~41 dB in the X-band frequency of 8.2-12.4 GHz with a thickness of 0.6 mm was obtained with an EM absorption-dominant behavior over a 0.7 absorption *** results are attributed to the hierarchical architecture of the macroscale PF skeleton and nanoscale SWCNT/rGO networks,leading to superior EMI-shielding *** believe that this approach provides highly flexible and robust EMI-shielding composites for next-generation wearable electronic devices.

With the rise of remote work and the digital industry,advanced cyberattacks have become more diverse and complex in terms of attack types and characteristics,rendering them difficult to detect with conventional intrusion detection ***-based intrusion detection methods can be used to detect attacks;however,they cannot detect new *** detection and response(EDR)tools are attracting attention as a means of detecting attacks on endpoints in real-time to overcome the limitations of signature-based intrusion detection ***,EDR tools are restricted by the continuous generation of unnecessary logs,resulting in poor detection performance and memory *** learning-based intrusion detection techniques for responding to advanced cyberattacks are memory intensive,using numerous features;they lack optimal feature selection for each attack *** overcome these limitations,this study proposes a memory-efficient intrusion detection approach incorporating multi-binary classifiers using optimal feature *** proposed model detects multiple types of malicious attacks using parallel binary classifiers with optimal features for each attack *** experimental results showed a 2.95%accuracy improvement and an 88.05%memory reduction using only six features compared to a model with 18 ***,compared to a conventional multi-classification model with simple feature selection based on permutation importance,the accuracy improved by 11.67%and the memory usage decreased by 44.87%.The proposed scheme demonstrates that effective intrusion detection is achievable with minimal features,making it suitable for memory-limited mobile and Internet of Things devices.

With the growing demand for faster and more powerful computing,effective heat dissipation is essential to ensure the longevity,reliability,and high performance of electronic *** the field of modern electronic packaging materials,there is a great need for graphitic material-loaded polymeric composites(GPCs)with excellent thermal ***,the enhancement efficiency of GPCs is hindered by the agglomeration of fillers and the interfacial thermal resistance caused by the lack of continuous thermally conductive pathways between the filler and *** the interfaces between filler and matrix is of great importance in optimizing the performances of ***,we fabricated graphite nanofibers(GNF)-loaded nanocomposites using acid-functionalized GNF(AGNF)and acidtetraethylenepentamine-functionalized(TGNF)as a filler and epoxy resin as a matrix with different GNF loading contents to explore the interfacial properties of the *** optimal GNF loading for AGNF was 0.5 wt.%,while the TGNF showed 0.75 wt.%.The highest thermal conductivity(0.51 W m^(−1) K^(−1))and fracture toughness(25.8 MPa m^(1/2))values were found in the TGNF-loaded nanocomposites with a fraction of 0.75 wt.%,representing enhancements of∼145%and∼400%,respectively,compared to those of neat *** experimental data presented herein demonstrate that the interfacial properties play a significant role in enhancing the thermal and mechanical performances of the *** present approach is expected to serve as a valuable tool in the design of conductive polymeric nanocomposites for further practical applications,such as thermal interface materials and packaging of high-power electric devices.
