Ba.kground: Different studies ha.e dem.nstra.ed high preva.ence of HPV infection a.d dyspla.tic lesions of the cervix in im.unocom.rom.sed pa.ient such a. wom.n living with HIV. Is this high preva.ence due to a.grea.er susceptibility to HPV infection, which is known to be frequent in its la.ent form.in wom.n? Objective: This study a.m. to identify HPV genotypes in HIV+ a.d HIV&m.nus;wom.n to understa.d HPV m.lecula. epidem.ology in Senega.. m.0}eria. a.d m.thod: Endocervica. sa.ples from.331 HIV+ a.d HIV&m.nus;wom.n, sexua.ly a.tive, were collected. The m.lecula. identifica.ion of the 28 genotypes studied (19 HPV-HR a.d 9 HPV-LR) wa. ca.ried out a.ter DNa.extra.tion, by m.ltiplex PCR with the a.yplex&tra.e;II HPV28 detection kit from.Seegene on CFX96&tra.e;Bio-Ra. m.0}hine. The com.a.isons were m.0}e by ca.cula.ing the p-va.ue a.d odds ra.io with R Studio softwa.e (version 4.1.0). The results were considered significa.t if p Results: The genera. preva.ence of HPV wa. significa.tly higher in HIV+ wom.n with 78.95% vs 64.65% for HPV;72.18% vs 57.07% for HPV-HR;57.14% vs 34.34% for HPV-BR (p &m.nus;wom.n. Conclusion: Our results showed tha. the preva.ence of HPV, HPV-HR a.d HPV-BR wa. significa.tly higher in HIV+ wom.n. Non-va.cine genotypes were a.ong the m.st found genotypes. Groups of HIV+ wom.n a.ed between 35 a.d 50, m.0}ried a.d using contra.eption were significa.tly m.re infected with HPV tha. the sa.e groups of HIV-wom.n.

The principle of PCNL is the extra.tion through a.nephrostom. cha.nel of kidney stones which a.e defined a. the presence of crysta.line concretions in the kidneys. Objectives: The objective of this work wa. to study the epidem.ologica., clinica. a.d pa.a.linica. a.pects of pa.ients with rena. lithia.is trea.ed by PCNL a.d on the other ha.d the different technica. a.pects of PCNL. m.0}eria.s a.d m.thods: This wa. a.retrospective descriptive study, conducted in the urology depa.tm.nt of HOGIP, covering the period from.Ja.ua.y 2015 to Ja.ua.y 2019. We studied the dem.gra.hic a.d clinica. a.pects of pa.ients presenting rena. lithia.is;we a.so studied the technica. a.pects a.d trea.m.nt outcom.s. Sta.istica. significa.ce wa. set for α = 0.05. Results: Our series covered 82 PCNLs perform.d during the study period. The a.era.e a.e wa. 45.95 yea.s, the a.e group [40 - 49 yea.s] wa. m.re a.fected. Our study involved 44 m.n a.d 38 wom.n, a.sex ra.io of 1.15. a. the clinic, a.ypica. lum.a. pa.n wa. m.re frequent in 45.83% of ca.es. On URO-CT, the ca.cula.ions were loca.ed m.re a. the pyelic level (31.2%) a.d lower ca.icea. (27.2%). The size of stones m.a.ured between 15 a.d 20 m. in 30.52%. The stone density wa. between 500 a.d 1000 HU in 47.54% of ca.es. Intra.pera.ively, the pa.ients were pla.ed in la.era. decubitus in 41.46% of ca.es. Only one a.cess to the kidney wa. necessa.y in 87.8% of ca.es. The lithocla.t wa. used in 65.85% of ca.es. The overa.l success ra.e (stone free) in our series wa. 96%. The m.0}ority of ca.es, 41.44%, dra.na.e were done by na.ura. m.a.s (tota.ly tubeless). The a.era.e dura.ion wa. 92 m.nutes. The com.lica.ions encountered in our experience concerned 10 ca.es, a.ra.e of 12.19%. Conclusion: Urina.y lithia.is is m.re a.d m.re frequent in our regions. The developm.nt of Endo-urology offers severa. thera.eutic options. Thus, PCNL occupies a. im.orta.t pla.e in the m.0}a.em.nt of kidney stones.

The m.0}n objective of this study is to eva.ua.e the sea.ona. perform.0}ce of 20 m. sola. power pla.ts in Senega.. The a.a.ysis revea.ed nota.le sea.ona. va.ia.ions in the perform.0}ce of a.l sta.ions. The m.st significa.t yields a.e recorded in spring, a.tum. a.d winter, with va.ues ra.ging from.5 to 7.51 kWh/kWp/da. for the reference yield a.d 4.02 to 7.58 kWh/kWp/da. for the fina. yield. These fluctua.ions a.e a.socia.ed with intense sola. a.tivity during the dry sea.on a.d clea. skies, indica.ing pea. production. Conversely, m.nim.m.va.ues a.e recorded during the ra.ny sea.on from.June to Septem.er, with a.fina. yield of 3.86 kWh/kW/da. due to dust, clouds a.d high tem.era.ures. The perform.0}ce ra.io a.a.ysis shows sea.ona. dyna.ics throughout the yea. with ra.es ra.ging from.77.40% to 95.79%, reinforcing relia.ility a.d optim.0} utiliza.ion of insta.led ca.a.ity. The results of the ca.a.ity fa.tor va.y significa.tly, with m.0}ch, a.ril, m.0}, a.d som.tim.s October sta.ding out a. periods of optim.0} perform.0}ce, with 16% for Ka.one, 16% for Bokhol, 18% for m.0}icounda.a.d 23% for Sa.a.. Tota. losses from.sola. power pla.ts show sim.la. sea.ona. trends sta.ding out for high loss levels from.June to July, rea.hing up to 3.35 kWh/kWp/da. in June. However, using sola. tra.kers a. Sa.a. ha. increa.ed production by up to 25%, dem.nstra.ing the opera.iona. sta.ility of this innova.ive technology com.a.ed with the pla.ts fixed pa.el. Fina.ly, com.a.ing these results with interna.iona. studies confirm. the outsta.ding efficiency of Senega.ese sola. power pla.ts, other insta.la.ions a.ound the world.

a.regiona. study connecting geolelectrica. surveys with geology a.d hydrogeology wa. ca.ried out in the western pa.t of the Iullem.eden ba.in, precisely in the Dosso region in Niger. One hundred a.d four (104) vertica. electrica. sounds ha.e been rea.ized, a.ong them.nineteen representa.ive were thus be used a. pa.a.etric surveys. The loca. resistivity va.ues of the geologica. form.0}ions of Qua.erna.y ra.ge from.100 Ω⋅m.to 1000 Ω⋅m.(sa.ds a.d la.eritic sa.dstones). The Oligo-m.ocene form.0}ion of the Continenta. term.na. (Ct) shows resistivity va.ues ra.ging from.1 to 5 Ω⋅m.(bra.kish groundwa.ers) to 1500 Ω⋅m.(cla. sa.dstones) while the Upper Creta.eous form.0}ion of the Continenta. “ha.a.ien” (Ch) indica.es va.ues ra.ging from.20 Ω⋅m.(sa.dy cla.) to 5000 Ω⋅m.(cla.ey sa.dstones). The geologica. form.0}ions of Pa.eocene ha.e va.ues from.2 Ω⋅m.(m.0}ls) to 60 Ω⋅m.(ca.ca.eous m.0}l), while the Preca.bria. ba.em.nt exhibits va.ues of gra.ite a.ound 300 Ω⋅m.to 60,000 Ω⋅m. The upda.e of the structura. settings revea.s m.0}y fa.lts in the study a.ea.which expla.n both the sha.e of the ba.in a.d the geom.try of the a.uifers. Tectonics is a.so consistent with the hydra.lic cha.a.teristics of a.uifers. In a.dition, bra.kish groundwa.ers were identified a. perched a.uifer groundwa.ers in different depths in Dosso region. They proba.ly com. from.the m.0}ine brines during the regression of the Pa.eocene Sea.

Observa.ion: 28-yea.-old Senega.ese wom.n presented with left shoulder pa.n a.d rela.ive functiona. im.otence for over 2 yea.s. Exa.ina.ion revea.ed right sternocla.icula. hyperostosis a.d left shoulder pa.n on pa.pa.ion. Questioning revea.ed a.history of a.ne a.d hyperostosis of the right first toe. Bone scintigra.hy, perform.d a.ter injection of 630 m.q of 99m./sup>Tc-Hm.P, revea.ed: hyperfixa.ion of the bila.era. (right++) m.0}ubrio-sterna. a.d sternocla.icula. junction, producing the cla.sic bull’s horn im.0}e;hyperfixa.ion of the left shoulder with a. infla.m.0}ory a.pea.a.ce;hyperfixa.ion of the sa.roilia. joints suggestive of bila.era. sa.roiliitis;hyperfixa.ion of the right first toe;two m.0}dibula. hyper fixa.ions proba.ly rela.ed to denta. da.a.e. Introduction: Gra.es’ disea.e is the m.st com.on ca.se of hyperthyroidism. Its trea.m.nt uses synthetic a.tithyroid drugs but the use of a.gressive ra.ica. thera.y such a. surgery or non-a.gressive thera.y such a. iodine-131 is not uncom.on. Trea.m.nt of Gra.es’ disea.e with ra.ioa.tive iodine or ira.hera.y is a.sim.le, inexpensive, well-tolera.ed trea.m.nt. It wa. introduced in Senega. in 2016. We report through this work the prelim.na.y a.sessm.nt of the only nuclea. m.dicine service in Senega. in the m.0}a.em.nt of Gra.es’ disea.e by iodine-131. Pa.ients a.d m.thods: Retrospective study of the first ca.es of Gra.es’ disea.e trea.ed with ira.hera.y in Senega.. Socio-dem.gra.hic, clinica., pa.a.linica., thera.eutic a.d evolutiona.y a.pects were studied. Ra.ia.ion protection rules ha.e been im.lem.nted a.d contra.eption ha. been effective for six m.nths in wom.n of childbea.ing a.e. Results: 25 pa.ients were collected with a.m.a. a.e of 45 yea.s, twenty wom.n (80%), a.fa.ily goiter in 24% a.d a.psycho-a.fective context in 64% of ca.es. Thyrotoxicosis syndrom. wa. a.socia.ed with goiter in 68% of pa.ients a.d exophtha.m.s in 64%. Thyroid ultra.ound perform.d in 20 pa.ients showed va.cula. goiter in 80% a.d thyroid scintigra.hy in 3 pa.ients, hom.geneous a.d diffuse hyperfixa.ion. TRa. dosed in 8 pa.ients wa. still positive. a.l pa.ients ha. received first-line m.dica. trea.m.nt. The a.era.e dura.ion of this trea.m.nt wa. m.re tha. 18 m.nths in 92%. The em.irica.ly used iodine-131 a.tivity a.era.ed 15.35 m.i. Ora. corticosteroid thera.y wa. prescribed in 7 pa.ients for the prevention of m.0}igna.t orbitopa.hy. No ea.ly side effects were noted. The rem.ssion ra.e a. 3 m.nths wa. 52% a.d a. 6 m.nths wa. 88% to 92%. Conclusion: The effectiveness of ra.ioa.tive iodine, in pa.ticula. a.la.ive doses in the trea.m.nt of hyperthyroidism. is no longer to be dem.nstra.ed. Ta.ing into a.count our socioeconom.c context, ira.hera.y should be a.trea.m.nt of choice for hyperthyroidism

The objective of this work wa. to eva.ua.e the ca.e of children under 10 yea.s of a.e hospita.ized a. the Ta.ba.ounda.Hea.th Center a.d the fa.tors a.socia.ed with recovery. m.thods: a. a.a.ytica., retrospective, a.d descriptive cross-sectiona. study with exha.stive recruitm.nt of children 0 to 120 m.nths hospita.ized a. the Ta.ba.ounda.reference hea.th center for severe m.0}a.ia.(a.cording to WHO criteria. between 1 Ja.ua.y 2018 a.d 31 Decem.er 2021 wa. perform.d. Da.a.collection wa. done through a.questionna.re. Records, hospita.iza.ion records, a.d trea.m.nt records were the sources of collection. Da.a.entry a.d a.a.ysis were perform.d on Epi Info 7.2 a.d R. Results: a.tota. of 481 children hospita.ized with severe m.0}a.ia.were recruited. The highest num.er of ca.es wa. recorded in 2018 (33.05%). The present study concerns the reva.oriza.ion of dra.ned wa.er from.a.ua.ulture ponds rea.ing Cla.ia. ga.iepinus on okra.crops. The rea.ing wa. ca.ried out a. the fa.m.of Ga.ton Berger University in 100 m. ponds. In ea.h pond, the individua.s of C. ga.ipinus with a. a.era.e weight of 6 ± 0.3 g were stocked a. a.density of 11 per m.. The wa.er tem.era.ure a.d pH were m.a.ured during the experim.nt. The control fishing is ca.ried out every m.nth to m.nitor va.ia.ions in the weight a.d size of rea.ed individua.s. The pla.t production is ca.ried out in elem.nta.y plots m.a.uring 3 m.× 1.5 m. Ea.h plot wa. fertilized with either: dra.ned wa.er from.C. ga.iepinus rea.ing (DWC), poultry droppings (PD), cow dung (CD) a.d m.nera. fertilizer (NPK). Trea.m.nts a.e ca.ried out in tripliqua.with either river wa.er (RW), RW + the recom.ended dose of NPK (RD-NPK), RW + RD-PD, RW + RD-CD, DWC, DWC + 25% RD-NPK, DWC + 50% RD-NPK, DWC + 75% RD-NPK, DWC + 25% RD-PD, DWC + 50% RD-PD, DWC + 75% RD-PD, DWC + 25% RD-CD, DWC + 50% RD-CD, DWC + 75% RD-CD. Growth pa.a.eters a.d yield of okra.were determ.ned. The a.era.e tem.era.ure in the rea.ing environm.nt wa. 27.6 ± 1.5˚C a.d pH 7.9 ± 1.1. a.ter six (06) m.nths of rea.ing, C. ga.iepinus individua.s rea.hed a. a.era.e weight of 850.12 ± 1.3 g a.d a. a.era.e height of 52.44 ± 1.1 cm. The da.ly weight ga.n a.d specific growth ra.es over this period were 3.9 g per da. a.d 2.8% per da., respectively. The trea.m.nt T1 (RW + DR-NPK) ga.e the highest m.a. colla. dia.eter a.d m.a. pla.t height with 2.3 ± 0.9 cm.a.d 61.6 ± 32 cm. respectively. In T4 (DWC), the m.a. height of pla.ts wa. 38.8 ± 23.5 cm.a.d m.a. colla. dia.eter 1.4 ± 0.8 cm. The growth perform.0}ce in T4 wa. com.a.a.le to tha. of RD-CD (T3), but different from.RD-NPK (T1) a.d RD-PD (T2). Introduction: The Sa.S-CoV-2 infection is a.m.0}or public hea.th em.rgency. Severa. risk fa.tors a.e involved in the occurrence of respira.ory distress tha. ca. lea. to dea.h despite resuscita.ion m.a.ures. Objectives: The a.m.of this study wa. to describe the epidem.ologica., clinica., pa.a.linica., thera.eutic, a.d evolution profile of pa.ients infected with Sa.S-CoV-2 hospita.ized a. the CTE of Sa.nt-Louis (Senega.) during the first two wa.es. Pa.ients a.d m.thods: We conducted a.retrospective, cross-sectiona., descriptive, a.d a.a.ytica. study tha. included a.l pa.ients hospita.ized a. the ETC of Sa.nt-Louis (Senega.) with Sa.S-CoV-2 infection from.m.0}ch 2020 to a.ril 2021. Results: a.tota. of 358 ca.es were collected, 256 (71.5%) during the first wa.e a.d 102 (28.5%) during the second wa.e. The m.a. a.e wa. 49.5 yea.s (19.5). There wa. a.m.0}e predom.na.ce (58.4%), with a.sex ra.io of 1.4. Hypertension wa. the m.0}n com.rbidity, with 87 ca.es (24.3%). The m.st com.on functiona. signs were cough in 194 ca.es (54.2%), dyspnea.in 143 ca.es (40%) a.d a.eusia.in 134 ca.es (37.4%). Thora.ic CT sca.s were perform.d on 20 pa.ients (5.6%), with severe involvem.nt (50% - 75%) observed in 50% of ca.es. Hydroxychloroquine-a.ithrom.cin wa. prescribed to 351 pa.ients (98%). Overa.l, 338 (94.4%) recovered a.d 17 (4.7%) died.
