Despite the potential ecological and economic impacts of invasive species,there is a dearth of data on the presence,impacts,and management implications of potentially invasive Orthoptera *** lack of research and inconsistent data,including risk screenings and impact assessments,is especially evident in ***,assessing the status,distribution,and potential threats of nonnative Orthoptera in Europe remains challenging,impeding the development of effective management *** address this gap,we call for increased efforts to collect and curate data on non-native and possibly invasive Orthoptera in *** efforts will improve our understanding of this order’s invasion dynamics,facilitate the identification of priority areas for conservation,and support the development of effective management policies and preventive measures.

Voltage-Dependent Electronic Transport Properties of Reduced Graphene Oxide with Various Coverage Ratios

Graphene is mainly implemented by these methods: exfoliating, unzipping of carbon nanotubes, chemical vapour deposition, epitaxial growth and the reduction of graphene oxide. The latter option has the advantage of low cost and precision. However, reduced graphene oxide(rGO) contains hydrogen and/or oxygen atoms hence the structure and properties of the rGO and intrinsic graphene are different. Considering the advantages of the implementation and utilization of rGO, voltage-dependent electronic transport properties of several rGO samples with various coverage ratios are investigated in this work. Ab initio simulations based on density functional theory combined with non-equilibrium Green's function formalism are used to obtain the current–voltage characteristics and the voltage-dependent transmission spectra of rGO samples. It is shown that the transport properties of rGO are strongly dependent on the coverage ratio. Obtained results indicate that some of the rGO samples have negative differential resistance characteristics while normally insulating rGO can behave as conducting beyond a certain threshold voltage. The reasons of the peculiar electronic transport behaviour of rGO samples are further investigated, taking the transmission eigenstates and their localization degree into *** findings of this study are expected to be helpful for engineering the characteristics of rGO structures.

In this study, an algebraic current-voltage(I-V) equation suitable for the hand-calculation of ballistic nano conductors is derived from Landauer's formulation. A voltage and temperature dependent resistance expression is also obtained. It is shown that the presented algebraic I-V expression and the original Landauer's formula give the same characteristics as expected. Moreover, the I-V characteristics of ballistic nano conductors are investigated and it is concluded that there is an inescapable nonlinearity originating from the curvature of Fermi-Dirac distribution function in low voltage range. Finally, the total harmonic distortion(THD) of a sample ballistic nano conductor caused from its low voltage nonlinearity is computed via HSPICE simulations.

Different performance levels may be obtained for sideway collapse evaluation of steel moment frames depending on the evaluation procedure used to handle uncertainties. In this article, the process of representing modelling uncertainties, record to record （RTR） variations and cognitive uncertainties for moment resisting steel frames of various heights is discussed in detail. RTR uncertainty is used by incremental dynamic analysis （IDA）, modelling uncertainties are considered through backbone curves and hysteresis loops of component, and cognitive uncertainty is presented in three levels of material quality. IDA is used to evaluate RTR uncertainty based on strong ground motion records selected by the k-means algorithm, which is favoured over Monte Carlo selection due to its time saving appeal. Analytical equations of the Response Surface Method are obtained through IDA results by the Cuckoo algorithm, which predicts the mean and standard deviation of the collapse fragility curve. The Takagi-Sugeno-Kang model is used to represent material quality based on the response surface coefficients. Finally, collapse fragility curves with the various sources of uncertainties mentioned are derived through a large number of material quality values and meta variables inferred by the Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy model based on response surface method coefficients. It is concluded that a better risk management strategy in countries where material quality control is weak, is to account for cognitive uncertainties in fragility curves and the mean annual frequency.

This study was conducted to understand the cellular proliferative effect of Photobiomodulation Therapy(PBMT)on thawed dental pulp stem cells(DPSCs)stored for 2 *** this purpose,cells were exposed to PBMT for short period of time to evaluate the most appropriate PBMT parameter for stimulating cellular proliferation that can be used for future tissue engineering *** characterized DPSCs were seperated into three groups according to the laser energy densities(5 J/cm^(2) or 7 J/cm^(2))applied and a group was served as control in which cells did not receive any laser *** cells in laser-irradiated groups were further divided into two subgroups according to the period of application(24 h and 0 h)and exposed to Gallium-Aluminum-Arsenide diode laser *** viability and the proliferation rate of the cells were analyzed with the 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay,any PBMT related cellular cytotoxicity were determined by performing a lactate dehydrogenase assay(LDH)and statistical analysis of data were *** percentage of proliferation seemed to increase upon laser therapy in both different doses of irradiation(5 J/cm^(2) and 7 J/cm^(2)).DPSCs showed significantly higher proliferation rate upon 7 J/cm^(2) irradiation in both 0 h and 24 h when compared to control ***,DPSCs irradiated with 5 J/cm^(2) dose induced relatively lower proliferation rate when compared to 7 J/cm^(2) dose of *** to the LDH data,PBMT exposure did not show any significant cytotoxicity at both energy densities in all different time *** at 7 J/cm^(2) should be an effective parameter to stimulate proliferation of long-term cryopreserved DPSCs in a short term time *** therapy may be an upcoming tool for future tissue enngineering and regenerative dentistry applications.
