The most important components of electrical vehicles are the battery and the related cooling system.These subsystems play a major role in determining the overall electric vehicle performances.In this study,a novel cooling system with fluid in the battery cell is proposed,by which the energy storage system can be optimized through control of the temperature of the batteries.A sensitivity analysis is conducted considering the maximum temperature,the heat rate,the coolant temperature,and the geometry of the cavities.The numerical simulations show that the parameters for the trapezoidal compartment have an impact on the thermal performance of battery.An optimal geometry is proposed accordingly.It is concluded that for high values of Reynolds number for which the flow becomes turbulent,a decrease in the battery temperature can be obtained thereby avoiding thermal stresses.

This paper considers a new approach to solving the problem of quantitative estimation of the microseism energy for underground sources that is based on the synthesis of noise interferometry and the passive seismic method of the gradient system. The selection of a seismic field of the underground sources is considered in an experiment conducted in the Tien Shan region. The peculiarities of approach include the separation of vertical microseisms in the ambient seismic noise field structure according to the data of the seismic gradient system and a passive noise interferometry diagram, where microseisms from the underground sources are used as the seismic signal source. It is shown that the use of noise interferometry and passive seismic gradient system allows using the synchronous microseism recordings in a small number of points for passive medium sensing, and leads to the restoration of unknown energy parameters of the seismic field of underground sources.

Russia’s reindeer population accounts for two thirds of the world’s total.There is a strong and resilient population of reindeer on the tundra,and reindeer herders inherit and transmit the unique culture of the north.Reindeer products have become the subject of innovative developments in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare products industry owing to their unique raw material properties.Because deer antlers and blood are widely used in traditional Chinese medicine,significant quantities of Arctic reindeer products are likely to be sold in China.Strengthening understanding of the Russian Arctic reindeer industry will help Chinese companies invest in the Russian Arctic,promote Sino-Russian Arctic cooperation on green biomanufacturing,and lead to the development of new products that promote human health.
