The generation of highly polluting leachate from Sanitary Landfills has prompted the development of technologies applicable to treatment of these liquids. The aim of this study was to determine the kinetics of adsorption of organic and inorganic matter contained in pre-treated leachate (by advanced oxidation by the Fenton reaction);after two adsorbents were used, first eggshell and then activated carbon. To determine the content of organic and inorganic matter COD was measured;this was the parameter for monitoring the kinetics. The leachate was subjected to advanced oxidation treatment by the Fenton reaction, then the adsorption process was conducted by batch, in two consecutive steps, the first step was the use of eggshell and the second step activated carbon. Due to the oxidation treatment the pH value decreased to 2, after the adsorption eggshell the pH increased to 6.9 and this was maintained in the treatment with activated carbon. The kinetics of adsorption of organic and inorganic matter on eggshell was evaluated by models pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order, the better fitting was the latter. The adsorption process was adjusted to the model of Langmuir. The negative value of △Hads indicated that the adsorption process was exothermic, spontaneous and favorable. The separation factor RL of Langmuir Isotherm values indicated that the adsorption of the matter on the eggshell was favorable at different temperatures. Finally, the activated carbon adsorption of liquid obtained from treatment with eggshell was favored with the kinetic model of pseudo second order. With the oxidation process, eggshell adsorption and activated carbon adsorption, the removal COD was 98.6%. The final COD value was fulfilled with the Mexican standard NOM-001-SEMARNAT-1996.

Water quality of Mexican tropical lake Chapala was assessed through multivariate statistical techniques, cluster analysis (CA) and principal component analysis (PCA) at ten different monitoring sites for ten physicochemical variables and six metals. This study evaluated and interpreted complex water quality data sets and apportioned of pollution sources to get better information about water quality. From descriptive statistics results, the highest concentrations of metals occurred during the dry season, and this trend was explained by the fact that an unusual rainy event occurred during the month of February 2009 and brought metals into the lake by runoffs from nearby mountains. According to international criteria for water consumption by aquatic organisms [USEPA], only Zn concentration values were below these criteria whereas the values of Ni, Pb, Cd and Fe were above the corresponding values set in these criteria (Ni: 52 μg·L-1, Pb: 2.5 μg·L-1, Cd: 0.25 μg·L-1, and Fe: 1000 μg·L-1). The correlations were observed by PCA, which were used to classify the samples by CA, based on the PCA scores. Seven significant cluster groups of sampling locations—(sites 4 and 5), (sites 3 and 9), (site 7), (site 10), (sites 2 and 6), (site 8) and (site 1)— were detected on the basis of similarity of their water quality. The results revealed that the stress exerted on the lake caused by waste sources follows the order: domestic > agricultural > industrial.

选自沃尔夫冈·阿玛多伊斯·莫扎特(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)的歌剧《后宫诱逃》(Die Entführung aus dem Serail)的咏叹调“Marten Aller Arten”,被认为是最具挑战性的女高音咏叹调之一。演唱这首咏叹调需要歌唱者具备较高的歌唱技术,包含歌唱中气息的灵活性、音与音之间的过渡和衔接、可长时间保持发声与音准的气息强度。此外,还需要歌唱者拥有宽广的音域和能够随时转换音高的能力。现今大众仍普遍认同的观点是,戏剧性的声音是沉重的、强烈的、甚至阴暗的,这与敏捷、灵活与明亮的声音几乎是对立的。通常情况下,敏捷、清晰的声音会更多地与闹剧或喜剧作品联系在一起,而沉重、强烈的声音则更多地与戏剧联系在一起。本文中,笔者尝试证明这两种音色可以同时存在于一个曲目中,由抒情花腔女高音扮演的康斯坦斯这一角色正好可以证明笔者的观点。本文提出了一些可供参考的观点,以帮助读者从不同的技术角度了解女高音如何处理声区转换,以支持其在主要音域中以饱满的嗓音演唱歌曲,使声音放开,并实现咏叹调“Marten Aller Arten”所要求的戏剧性。同时,本文以意大利美声学派的原则为基础,介绍了该咏叹调的技术方法——其重点集中于四个声区:胸声区、弱混声区、强混声区和头声区。本文比较了意大利美声学派的一些歌唱方法和关于声区的不同技术的概念。尽管这些概念仍会引起混淆,但这一新的视角有助于帮助人们理解女高音声区的结构,并将其更清晰地带入实践当中。了解了这四个音区的工作原理,女高音歌唱家就能更自如地去演绎这首咏叹调,并将嗓音发挥到极致,帮助歌唱家们更深入地了解自己的“乐器”,加强声音本身的柔韧性、肌肉和嗓音的调节能力,这些都是演唱咏叹调“Marten Aller Arten”所需要的。

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is a devastating and disabling medical condition generally caused by a traumatic event(primary injury).This initial trauma is accompanied by a set of biological mechanisms directed to ameliorate neural damage but also exacerbate initial damage(secondary injury).The alterations that occur in the spinal cord have not only local but also systemic consequences and virtually all organs and tissues of the body incur important changes after SCI,explaining the progression and detrimental consequences related to this ***(PNIE)is a growing area of research aiming to integrate and explore the interactions among the different systems that compose the human organism,considering the mind and the body as a *** initial traumatic event and the consequent neurological disruption trigger immune,endocrine,and multisystem dysfunction,which in turn affect the patient's psyche and *** the present review,we will explore the most important local and systemic consequences of SCI from a PNIE perspective,defining the changes occurring in each system and how all these mechanisms are ***,potential clinical approaches derived from this knowledge will also be collectively presented with the aim to develop integrative therapies to maximize the clinical management of these patients.

Exoskeletons are mechatronic devices used to increase human muscle strength and resistance. In the last decade these devices have become a very useful tool to assist active kinesiotherapy. This paper presents the design of exoskeleton focused on the rehabilitation of ankle and knee for the right leg. The construction of prototype like Exoskeleton for Lower Limb Training with Instrumented Orthoses （ELLTIO） using Series Elastic Actuator （SEA） to reduce the effort in the human joints, and a control law to perform a rehabilitation routine using an adaptive control scheme were first implemented in simulation to verify the control strategy and make a real rehabilitation test. The adaptive control law is proposed with the intention that the exoskeleton can adapt to user parameters at the time when performing the exercise. The results show the parameters estimation and tracking trajectory for the exoskeleton were proposed, and this trajectory could be a routine rehabilitation proposed by the therapist.

This paper presents an upper limb exoskeleton that allows cognitive(through electromyography signals)and physical user interaction(through load cells sensors)for passive and active exercises that can activate neuroplasticity in the rehabilitation process of people who suffer from a neurological *** the exoskeleton to be easily accepted by patients who suffer from a neurological injury,we used the ISO9241-210:2010 as a methodology design *** the first steps of the design process,design requirements were collected from previous usability tests and ***,as a second step,a technological solution is proposed,and as a third step,the system was evaluated through performance and user *** part of the technological solution and to allow patient participation during the rehabilitation process,we have proposed a hybrid admittance control whose input is load cell or electromyography *** hybrid admittance control is intended for active therapy exercises,is easily implemented,and does not need musculoskeletal modeling to ***,electromyography signals classification models and features were evaluated to identify the best settings for the cognitive human–robot interaction.

Glassy carbon nanofibers(GCNFs)are considered promising candidates for the fabrication of nanosensors for biosensing ***,in part due to their great stability,carbon electrodes with sub-10 nm nanogaps represent an attractive platform for probing the electrical characteristics of *** fabrication of sub-10 nm nanogap electrodes in these GCNFs,which is achieved by electrically stimulating the fibers until they break,was previously found to require fibers shorter than 2µm;however,this process is generally hampered by the limitations inherent to photolithographic *** this work,to obtain nanogaps on the order of 10 nm without the need for sub-2µm GCNFs,we employed a fabrication strategy in which the fibers were gradually thinned down by continuously monitoring the changes in the electrical resistance of the fiber and adjusting the applied voltage *** further reduce the nanogap size,we studied the mechanism behind the thinning and eventual breakdown of the suspended GCNFs by controlling the environmental conditions and pressure during the *** this approach,which includes performing the experiments in a high-vacuum chamber after a series of carbon dioxide(CO 2)purging cycles,nanogaps on the order of 10nm were produced in suspended GCNFs 52µm in length,much longer than the~2µm GCNFs needed to produce such small gaps without the procedure employed in this ***,the electrodes showed no apparent change in their shape or nanogap width after being stored at room temperature for approximately 6 months.

Effect of protease supplementation on apparent ileal crude protein and amino acid digestibility of over-processed soybean meals in broilers

Background: Nutritional value of proteins in feed ingredients can be negatively affected by hydrothermal processing, which causes large variation in the bioavailability of amino acids(AA) and negatively affects animal productive performance. Supplementation of exogenous proteases could increase the rate of digestion of damaged proteins, thereby increasing overall AA digestibility and bioavailability. The aim was to determine the effect of exogenous protease supplementation on the apparent ileal digestibility(AID) of crude protein(CP) and AA of soybean meals(SBM) with different degrees of hydrothermal processing in ***: The experiment involved a 3 × 2 factorial arrangement, with SBM processing time(commercial SBM or autoclaved for 30 or 60 min at 120 ℃) and protease supplementation(not supplemented and supplemented) as factors. Protease was included at three times the recommended dose(0.06%) and the experimental diets were fed from 15 to 21 ***: The interaction between the effects of SBM processing and protease supplementation was significant for the AID of CP(P = 0.01), Trp(P = 0.01), Gly(P = 0.03) and Pro(P = 0.03), and also for the average daily gain(P = 0.01)and feed conversion ratio(P = 0.04). Increasing the processing time of SBM decreased(P < 0.0001) the AID of all amino acids, whilst the effect of protease supplementation was only significant for the AID of Phe(P = 0.02) and Tyr(P = 0.01).Conclusions: Exogenous protease supplementation at three times the commercial dose does not seem to offset the negative effects of hydrothermal processing of SBM on the apparent ileal digestibility of CP and amino acids or performance of broilers. Whilst positive numerical improvements of digestibility and performance(ADG and FCR)were noticed with protease supplementation at relatively mild processing levels, negative results were obtained with the harsh-processed meals.
