Nanoparticles(NPs)can be transported via the nose-to-brain(N_(2)B)***,quantitative data on their spatiotemporal dynamics and regulation of the N_(2)B transport are largely *** surveyed metal oxide/hydroxide NPs as magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)contrasts for quantitative N_(2)B *** containing divalent transition metals were the only ones capable of N_(2)B *** T1-weighted(T1W)MRI,we showed that Mn_(3)O_(4)-NPs were readily engulfed by olfactory receptor neurons(ORNs)without disrupting olfactory sensing,we mapped their N_(2)B *** neurons,the Mn_(3)O_(4)-NPs were localized to the cytosol,mitochondria,vesicles,moved at mixed fast and slow axonal transport velocities intraand extra-vesicularly through *** NPs’axonal transport is dependent on neuronal activity and microtubule *** Mn_(3)O_(4)-NPs were trans-synaptically transmitted through at least four synapses across the olfactory ***-synaptic transmission of the NPs was dependent on N-type Ca^(2+)channels and NMDA receptors but blocked by GABAB receptor activation.A five-parameter Weibull signal increase/decrease model fitted to the T1W MRI data allowed for estimating kinetic parameters of Mn_(3)O_(4)-NP accumulation/*** and relative accumulation rates,but not elimination,correlated negatively with the number of synapses from ORNs,indicating a coupling of the NPs’N_(2)B transport with spontaneous neuronal ***,olfactory stimuli(2,5-dimethylpyrazine and acetophenone)significantly modulated and rerouted the Mn_(3)O_(4)-NP N_(2)B transport odor ***,the NPs’trans-synaptic transmission was impaired by aging and the onset of Parkinson’s *** data suggest new approaches to diagnostics,functional neuroimaging,controlling N_(2)B drug delivery.

The major purpose of any university is high-quality education of its students for the needs of society. Qualified staff （including teachers and administration） is the necessary condition for high-quality education of students. The qualified staff （university teachers） can only be internationally competitive when they do high quality research andactively participate in the university management. Government and industry set up the ＂boundary conditions＂ for universities, but they should not interfere into the internal self-governance of the universities, and should respect academic freedom. A world-class university has its own Triple Helix uniting education, research and innovation. A few specific examples of practical realization of such ＂sub＂ Triple Helix are given, which are based on personal experience of the author during 24 years of his work as a professor at leading universities in the USA, Germany and Japan. Though some findings and conclusions may have limited use in any particular country, there are universal features that should be present in any modem university interested in increasing its impact on local environment, concerned with interaction to local government and local businesses, and striving for top positions in international rankings.

The enthalpies of vaporization for the series of pyridinium-based ionic liquids with bis（trifluoromethylsulfonyl）imide anion [CnPy][NTfz] （n = 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6） have been determined with the quartz crystal microbalance technique combined with the Langmuir evaporation. The linear dependence of vaporization enthalpies on the chain length has been revealed. New approach based on volumetric, surface tension, and speed of sound measurements has been developed for estimation of heat capacity differences between gas and liquid phase, which were required for adjustment of measured vaporization enthalpies to the ref- erence temperature 298 K.

Metagenomic studies of various soil environments have previously revealed the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to investigate differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that have been under long-term organic and conventional cropping *** organic cropping system was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conventional cropping system was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulted in an increased amount of total and available carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were vancomycin,tetracycline and *** of soil microbial communities revealed differences between the studied fields in the relative abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positive and negative)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes revealed that Nitrospirota,Thermoproteota,Actinobacteriota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria serve as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activities in terms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultivated genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

This article is a continuation of the work“Intelligent robust control of redundant smart robotic arm Pt I:Soft computing KB optimizer-deep machine learning IT”.In the first part of the paper,we examined control systems with constant coefficients of the conventional PID controller(based on genetic algorithm)and intelligent control systems based on soft computing *** demonstration,MatLab/Simulink models and a test benchmark of the robot manipulator *** and limitations of intelligent control systems based on soft computing technology *** main element of the control system based on soft computing is a fuzzy controller with a knowledge base in *** the first part of the article,two ways to implement fuzzy controllers *** way applyied one controller for all links of the manipulator and showed the best ***,such an implementation is not possible in complex control objects,such as a manipulator with seven degrees of freedom(7DOF).The second way use of separated control when an independent fuzzy controller controls each *** control decomposition due to a slight decrease in the quality of management has greatly simplified the processes of creating and placing knowledge *** this Pt II,to eliminate the mismatch of the work of separate independent fuzzy controllers,methods for organizing coordination control based on quantum computing technologies to create robust intelligent control systems for robotic manipulators with 3DOF and 7DOF *** supremacy of developed end-to-end IT design of robust intelligent control systems demonstrated.

Phylogeny of Brucella abortus strains isolated in the Russian Federation

Objective: To study Brucella(B.) abortus strains isolated in the Russian Federation, in order to identify their detailed position in the phylogenetic structure of the species global population as well as to determine genetic relationships for isolates from different geographical ***: Based on Bayesian method, the whole genome singlenucleotide polymorphism(SNP) analysis of 258 B. abortus strains from different geographical areas of the world including 20 B. abortus strains isolated in Russia was carried out. Results: The core genome SNP analysis of the B. abortus isolates allowed describing the main genetic lineages. The Russian strains entered two separate clades, including the basal branch and the C1 branch that is widely spread in Eurasia. The data on the isolation time was used for the dating of phylogenetic tree, and also the estimated time frame for the B. abortus genotype diversification was determined. There were sets of specific SNPs identified, which defined each of the genotypes and ***: A significant genetic diversity of the brucellosis pathogen strains from Russia has been proven. The sets of unique specific SNPs described in our study may become one of the elements within a bio-informational analysis algorithm to be used for epidemiological study of brucellosis outbreaks, including those caused by new(atypical) genetic variants of B. abortus.

Diagnosis of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies(ANCA)-associated vasculitis is usually not difficult in patient with systemic disease, including lung and kidneys involvement, and laboratory signs of inflammation. The presence of ANCA and the results of histological investigation confirm diagnosis of ANCAassociated vasculitis. Cyclophosphamide/azathioprine in combination with high dose steroids are used to induce and maintain remission of systemic vasculitis. The clinical trials also showed efficacy of rituximab that induces depletion of B-cells. Our understanding and management of ANCA-associated vasculitis improved significantly over the last decades but there is still a lot of debate over its classification, diagnostic criteria, assessment of activity and optimum treatment.
