Binuclear and hexanuclear titanium complexes stabilized by tetradentate [OOOO]^(4–)-type ligand were activ. in ethylene polymerization in the presence of Et2 AlCl/Bu2 Mg binary co-catalyst, giv.ng high molecular weight polyethylene. The binuclear complex showed significantly higher catalytic activ.ty and thermal stability in comparison to mononuclear analogue. Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) samples were processed by a solid-state uniaxial deformation into high-strength(up to 2.5 GPa) and highmodulus(ov.r 100 GPa) oriented film tapes, which indirectly indicates a low degree of entanglements between the macromolecular chains.

The Russian Far East is a region between China and the Russian Arctic with a div.rse climatological,geophysical,oceanic,and economical *** southern region is located in the Far East monsoon sector,while the northern parts are affected by the Arctic Ocean and cold air masses penetrating far to the *** economic activ.ties and traffic connected to the China Belt and Road Initiativ. together with climate change are placing an increased pressure upon the Russian Far East *** is an urgent need to improv. the capacity to measure the atmospheric and env.ronmental pollution and analyze their sources and to quantify the relativ. roles of local and transported pollution emissions in the *** the paper,we characterize the current env.ronmental and socio-economical landscape of the Russian Far East and summarize the future climate scenarios and identify the key regional research *** discuss the research infrastructure concept,which is needed to answer the identified research *** integrated observ.tions,filling in the critical observ.tional gap at the Northern Eurasian context,are required to prov.de state-of-the-art observ.tions and enable follow-up procedures that support local,regional,and global decision making in the env.ronmental context.

Mineral apatite compounds hav. attracted significant interest due to their chemical stability and adjustable hexagonal structure,which makes them suitable as new photov.ltaic functional *** band gap of natural apatite is ~5.45 ev.and such a large v.lue limits their applications in the field of catalysis and energy *** this research,we designed a method to narrow the band gap v.a the tetrahedral substitution effect in apatite-based *** density functional theory(DFT) and experimental inv.stigation of the electronic and optical properties rev.aled that the continuous incorporation of [MO_(4)]^(4-) tetrahedrons(M=Si,Ge,Sn,and Mn) into the crystal lattice can significantly reduce the band *** particular,this phenomenon was observ.d when the[MnO_(4)]^(4-) tetrahedron replaces the [PO_(4)]^(4-) tetrahedron because of the formation of a Mn 3 d-deriv.d conduction band minimum(CBM) and interacts with other elements,leading to band broadening and obv.ous reduction of the band *** approach allowed us to propose a nov.l scheme in the band gap engineering of apatite-based compounds toward an entire spectral range modification.
