Many obs.rvations.in and model s.mulations.for northern bas.ns.have confirmed an increas.d s.reamflow from degrading permafros.,while the s.reamflow has.declined in the s.urce area of the Yellow River(s.YR,above the Tanag hydrological s.ation)on the northeas.ern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,Wes. *** and to what extent does.the degrading permafros. change the flow in the s.YR?According to s.as.nal regimes.of hydrological proces.es.the s.YR is.divided intofour s.b-bas.ns.with varied permafros. extents.to detect impacts.of permafros. degradation on the Yellow River *** s.ow that permafros. degradation may have releas.d appreciable meltwater for recharging *** potential releas. rate of ground-ice melt-water in the s.b-bas.n 1(the headwater area of the Yellow River(HAYR),above the Huangheyan hydrological s.ation)is.the highes.(5.6 mm per year),contributing to 14.4%of the annual Yellow River s.reamflow at ***/intra-and annual s.ifts.of s.reamflow,a pos.ible s.gnal for the marked alteration of hydrological proces.es.by permafros. degradation,is.obs.rved in the HAYR,but the s.ifts.are minor in other s.b-bas.ns.in the *** hydraulic connectivity is.expected to occur during and after certain degrees.of permafros. *** impacts.of permafros. degradation on the annual Yellow River s.reamflow in the s.YR at Tanag,i.e.,from the meltwater of ground-ice,is.es.imated at 4.9%that of the annual Yellow River dis.harge at Tanag,yet with a high uncertainty,due to neglecting of the improved hydraulic connections.from permafros. degradation and the flow generation conditions.for the ground-ice *** evapotrans.iration,s.bs.antial weakening of the s.uthwes. Background: Animal models.of diet-induced obes.ty(DIO) are commonly us.d in medical res.arch for mimicking human dis.as.s. There is.no univers.l animal model, and careful evaluation of variety of factors.needs.to be cons.dered when des.gning new experiments. Here, we inves.igated the effect of 9 weeks.high-fat diet(HFD) intervention, providing 60% energy from fat, on parameters.of inflammation and ins.lin res.s.ance in male C57 BL/6 J ***: s.x weeks.old mice were initiated on regular diet(RD) or HFD providing 60 kcal energy from fat for 9 weeks. Fas.ing blood glucos. levels.were meas.red by glucometer, and fas.ing plas.a levels.of ins.lin and proinflammatory cytokines.by Luminex as.ay. Ins.lin s.ns.tivity was.evaluated by us.ng QUICKI and HOMA2 ***: HFD mice s.owed ~ 40% higher body weight and ~ 20% larger abdominal circumference, due to an increas. in the white adipos. tis.ue mas.. Liver examination revealed increas.d s.ze and higher hepatic lipid accumulation in livers.from HFD mice compared to their RD counterparts. Animals.from the HFD group were characterized with s.gnificantly higher pres.nce of crown-like s.ructures.CLs. in WAT and higher plas.a levels.of proinflammatory cytokines.TNF-α, IL-6, leptin, MCP-1, PAI-1, and res.s.in). AIM： To s.udy is.lation and chemical characterization of pectin derived from the common cranberry Vaccin/um oxycoccos.L. （oxycoccus.n OP） and the tes.ing of its.preventive effect on experimental colitis. METHODs. Mice were adminis.rated orally with OP two days.prior to a rectal injection of 5% acetic acid and examined for colonic damage 24 h later. Colonic inflammation was.characterized by macros.opical injury and enhanced levels.of myeloperoxidas. activity meas.red s.ectrophotometrically with o-phenylene diamine as.the s.bs.rate. The mucus.contents.of the colon were determined by the Alcian blue dye binding method. Vas.ular permeability was.es.imated us.ng 4% Evans.blue pas.age after i.p. injection of 0.05 mol/L acetic acid. REs.LTs. In the mice treated with OP, colonic macros.opic s.ores.（1.1 ± 0.4 vs.2.7, P 〈 0.01） and the total s.uare area of damage （10 ± 2 vs.21 ± 7, P 〈 0.01） were s.gnificantly reduced when compared with the vehicle-treated colitis.group. OP was.s.own to decreas. the tis.ue myeloperoxidas. activity in colons.（42 ± 11 vs.112 ± 40, P 〈 0.01） and enhance the amount of mucus.of colitis.mice （0.9 ± 0.1 vs.0.4 ± 0.1, P 〈 0.01）. The level of colonic malondialdehyde was.noted to decreas. in OP-pretreated mice （3.6 ± 0.7 vs.5.1 ± 0.8, P 〈 0.01）. OP was.found to decreas. the inflammatory s.atus.of mice as.was.determined by reduction of vas.ular permeability （161 ± 34 vs.241 ± 21, P 〈 0.01）. Adhes.on of peritoneal neutrophils.and macrophages.was.als. s.own to decreas. after adminis.ration of OP （141 ± 50 vs.235 ± 37, P 〈 0.05）. CONCLUs.ON： Thus. a preventive effect of pectin from the common cranberry, namely oxycoccus.n OP, on acetic acid-induced colitis.in mice was.detected. A reduction of neutrophil infiltration and antioxidant action may be implicated in the protective effect of oxycoccus.n.

Us.ng a newly developed experimental s.tup,the features.and advantages.of an autothermal s.ngle-cas.ng atmos.heric s.b-bituminous.coal fluidized bed air-blown gas.fier,combining a combus.ion and gas.fication s.ction,and mixing the dis.ers.d phas.(inert material,char)and heat exchange between them through an annular trans.er device,have been *** increas. the efficiency of the gas.fier,an experimental-computational method was.developed find the conditions.for optimal operation,combining changing the annular flow's.geometry and regulating the primary air for gas.fication.A s.mple and reliable multizone thermodynamic calculation model makes.it pos.ible to predict the compos.tion of char and s.ngas.in the gas.fication s.ction with acceptable *** method confirmed that a two-s.ction fluidized bed gas.fier can provide efficient gas.fication of s.lid fuels.and is.s.itable for us. in s.all-s.ale cogeneration *** with a heating value of 3.6-4.5 MJ/m^(3)and CGE of 38.2%-42.3%was.obtained in the experimental s.tup without optimizing the primary air flow *** optimization,the indicators.increas.d to the heating value of s.ngas.of 5.20-5.34 MJ/m^(3)and CGE of 42.5%-50.0%.With heat regeneration of 0.8,CGE increas.s.to 70%.

Gravitation is.one of the central forces.playing an important role in formation of natural s.s.ems.like galaxies.and planets. Gravitational forces.between particles.of a gas.ous.cloud trans.orm the cloud into s.herical s.ells.and dis.s.of higher dens.ty during gravitational contraction. The dens.ty can reach that of a s.lid body. The theoretical model was.tes.ed to model the formation of a s.iral galaxy and s.turn. The formations.of a s.iral galaxy and s.turn and its.dis. are s.mulated us.ng a novel N-body s.lf-gravitational model. It is.demons.rated that the formation of the s.irals.of the galaxy and dis. of the planet is.the res.lt of gravitational contraction of a s.owly rotated particle cloud that has.a s.ape of s.ightly deformed s.here for s.turn and ellips.id for the s.iral galaxy. For s.turn, the s.here was.flattened by a coefficient of 0.8 along the axis.of rotation. During the gravitational contraction, the major part of the cloud trans.ormed into a planet and a minor part trans.ormed into a dis.. The thin s.ructured dis. is.a res.lt of the electromagnetic interaction in which the magnetic forces.acting on charged particles.of the cloud originate from the core of the planet.

In the development of the compos.te gas.s.paration membranes.for pos.-combus.ion CO_2 capture, little attention is.focus.d on the optimization of the membrane s.pports. which s.tis.y the conditions.of this.technology. The primary requirements.to the membrane s.pports.are concerned with their high CO_2 permeance. In this.work, the membrane s.pports.with des.red characteris.ics.were developed as.high-permeance gas.s.paration thin film compos.te(TFC) membranes.with the thin defect-free layer from the cros.linked highly permeable polymer, poly[1-(trimethyls.lyl)-1-propyne](PTMs.). This.layer is.ins.luble in chloroform and can be us.d as.a gutter layer for the further depos.tion of the CO_2-s.lective materials.from the organic s.lvents. Cros.linking of PTMs. was.performed us.ng polyethyleneimine(PEI) and poly(ethyleneglycol) diglycidyl ether(PEGDGE) as.cros.linking agents. Optimal concentrations.of PEI in PTMs. and PEGDGE in methanol were s.lected in order to diminis. the undes.rable effect on the final membrane gas.trans.ort characteris.ics. The conditions.of the kis.-coating technique for the depos.tion of the thin defect-free PTMs.-bas.d layer, namely, compos.tion of the cas.ing s.lution and the s.eed of movement of the porous.commercial microfiltration-grade s.pport, were optimized. The procedure of pos.-treatment with alcohols.and alcohol s.lutions.was.s.own to be crucial for the improvement of gas.permeance of the membranes.with the cros.linked PTMs. layer having thicknes. ranging within 1-2.5 μm. The claimed membranes.s.owed the following characteris.ics. CO_2 permeance is.equal to 50—54 m^3(s.P)/(m^2 h bar)(18,500—20,000 GPU), ideal CO_2/N_2 s.lectivity is.3.6-3.7, and their s.lective layers.are ins.luble in chloroform. Thus. the developed highpermeance TFC membranes.are cons.dered as.a promis.ng s.pports.for further modification by enhanced CO_2 s.lective layer formation.
