The possibilities of manufacturing of diffraction optical elements (DOE), using the “Caroline 15 PE” plasma-etching machine were considered. It is established that at thickness of chromic mask of 100 nm the plasma-chemical etching (PCE) method reaches depth of surface micro-profile to 1.4 μm on optical glass. It allows increasing the diffraction efficiency of DOE to 0.3 - 0.35 on the second order of diffraction.

Objective: To determine the effect of a drug STEmB, which is a biostimulating tissue preparation based on chicken embryos, on the morpho-biochemical blood values of dry cows. methods: The study was conducted on 60 Holstein cows, which were divided into three groups (group 1, group 2, and group 3), with 20 cows in each group. During the experiment, all animals in each group were subjected to the same condition of feeding and maintenance. The experimental animals were administered with the STEmB drug three times subcutaneously at an interval of 7 d within 30 d before calving. Group 1 were given 0.050 mL/kg body weight;group 2 were given 0.075 mL/kg body weight;group 3 were given 0.100 mL/kg body weight. Results: STEmB at 0.075 mL/kg body weight improved the blood cell composition, increasing the erythrocytes, hemoglobin, leukocytes, hemoglobin content, the total protein, albumins, alpha globulins, and gamma globulins. It reduced the beta-globulin index and provided a threshold level for the enzymes alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, and A, m, G immunoglobulins. Conclusions: Use of the STEmB drug with a dose of 0.075 mL/kg body weight given subcutaneously three times at an interval of 7 d within 30 d before delivery is optimal for the prevention of complications during calving and postpartum periods, thereby providing an improvement in the blood cell composition.

The work is a study of the influence of Ca2+ (0.01 - 1 mm) on neuronal CI-, HCO3-, -ATPase complex: an enzyme that is a CI--pump which is functionally and structurally coupled to GABAA-receptors. It is found that influence of Ca2+ on the multifunctional complex starts at concentration of 50·m and at concentration of 0.1 mm, it reduces the “basal” one and increases the CI-, HCO3-, -stimulated mg2+-ATPase activities. GABA (0.1 - 100μm) activates the “basal” mg2+-ATPase activity in the ab-sence of calcium. The effect of GABA on the enzyme in the presence of 0.01 ·m Ca2+ does not change. At the same time, 1 mm Ca2+eliminates the GABA effect on the “basal” mg2+-ATPase activity. Competitive blocker of GABAA-receptors bicuculline (5 - 20 μm) in the absence of Ca2+ ions elimi-nates the stimulation of the “basal” mg2+-ATPase by anions. When 0.25 mm Ca2+ is added to the in-cubation medium the inhibitory bicuculline effect on the enzyme does not appear. We found that 0.1 mm o-vanadate (protein tyrosine phosphatase blocker) reduces the GABA-activated ATPase activity. At the same time, 0.1 mm genistein (a protein tyrosine kinase blocker) has no effect on enzyme activity. In the presence of Ca2+ (0.25 mm), the effect of o-vanadate on the “basal” and CI-, HCO3-, -ATPase activities does not appear. It is shown for the first time that high concentrations of Ca2+prevent the action of GABAA-ergic ligands on the study ATPase. It is assumed that there is the involvement of protein kinases and protein phosphatases in the modulation of the enzyme activity by calcium. The observed effect of calcium on the ATPase may play an important role in the study of the mechanisms of epileptogenesis and seizure activity.

We propose a simple method for the efficient and rapid synthesis of one-dimensional hematite(α-Fe_(2)O_(3))nanostructures based on electrical resistive heating of iron wire under ambient ***,1-5μm longα-Fe_(2)O_(3)nanowires were synthesized on a time scale of seconds at temperatures of around 700℃.The morphology,structure,and mechanism of formation of the nanowires were studied by scanning and transmission electron microscopies,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and Raman techniques.A nanowire growth mechanism based on diffusion of iron ions to the surface through grain boundaries and to the growing wire tip through stacking fault defects and due to surface diffusion is proposed.

Scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS) was used for investigation of rectification properties of molecules with spatial asymmetry. The molecules of cetyltrimethylammonium derivatives of 10-molibdo-2-vanadophosphate-anions [Pmo10V2O40]﹣5 (CTmVA) were adsorbed on a surface of pyrolytic graphite (HOPG). Consequently, both good diode properties and J(V)-curves reproducibility of the film were revealed. The validity of the single-level model for the evaluation of the system parameters is discussed.

Objectives: Recent findings have further highlighted the role of the thyroid system in the pathophysiology of depression and revealed new physiologically relevant elements of the thyroid system. Our previous study showed an antidepressant-like effect of 3,5-diiodo-L-thyronine(T2), which was previously considered to be a physiologically inactive molecule, in mice. Here, we aimed to investigate the antidepressant-like effects of T2 further. methods: We studied the effects of bolus injections of T2 to C57Bl6 J mice at doses of 0.25 or 0.75 mg/kg with the tail suspension and forced swim models. The effects of the higher dose were investigated in CD1 mice in the forced swim test. Potential behavioral effects of these treatments were also studied using the novel cage and dark-light box ***: A reduction of depressive-like behavior was found in mice treated with 0.75 mg/kg of T2 in the tail suspension test, but not in the forced swim test. Locomotion and anxiety variables were unaltered following treatment with T2. There were no significant changes after bolus administration of 0.25 mg/kg T2 in either test for depressive-like behavior. Thus, bolus injection of T2 at the dose 0.75 mg/kg can induce antidepressant-like effects without affecting other behaviors. Conclusions: A discrepant result in the forced swim test may be due to its different sensitivity to T2 compared with the tail suspension paradigm. Furthermore, the development of procedural modifications of this model can be useful in its application in pre-clinical studies.

For terahertz wave applications,tunable and rapid modulation is highly *** studied by means of optical pump-terahertz probe spectroscopy,single-walled carbon nanotube(SWCNT)thin films demonstrated ultrafast carrier recombination lifetimes with a high relative change in the signal under optical excitation,making them promising candidates for high-speed ***,combination of SWCNT thin films and stretchable substrates facilitated studies of the SWCNT mechanical properties under strain and enabled the development of a new type of an optomechanical *** applying a certain strain to the SWCNT films,the effective sheet conductance and therefore modulation depth can be fine-tuned to optimize the designed *** exhibited a photoconductivity change of approximately 2 times of magnitude under the strain because of the structural modification in the SWCNT *** was used to control the terahertz signal with a modulation depth of around 100%without strain and 65%at a high strain operation of 40%.The sensitivity of modulators to beam polarization is also shown,which might also come in handy for the design of a stretchable *** results give a fundamental grounding for the design of high-sensitivity stretchable devices based on SWCNT films.

为实现金属光栅偏振器件在光刻机偏振照明系统中的应用,基于共振域光栅的反常偏振效应,提出一种以二氧化硅为基底、铝与氟化镁作为栅线材料的介质-金属光栅偏振器。与传统的亚波长金属光栅偏振器相比,该偏振器的光栅周期接近入射波长(0.19~0.20μm),表现出透射TE偏振光、反射Tm偏振光的反常特性。由时域有限差分算法(FDTD)的数值模拟结果可得,当波长为0.193μm的光垂直入射时,该光栅偏振器对TE偏振光的透过率大于60%,偏振消光比大于180。与具有相同结构参数和栅线材料的单层金属光栅偏振器相比,该介质-金属光栅偏振器在深紫外波段具有良好的偏振性能,TE偏振光透过率提升了约10%,偏振消光比提升了4.5倍左右(在0.193μm波长下)。

We derive theoretically and verify experimentally a concise general expression for the normalized intensity correlations(IC)of partially coherent light in a weak atmospheric turbulence in the fast detector measurement *** derived relation reveals that the medium turbulence acts,in general,as an additional noise source enhancing the IC of partially coherent *** maximum of the beam IC is,in general,enhanced,causing the fields to exhibit super-Gaussian *** the other hand,the relation indicates that turbulence-induced noise is negligible for sufficiently low coherence light,which reveals the condition for the turbulence-free correlation imaging.
