This scientific paper discusses the information on the structure of the three-component system FeO-TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3),which is necessary for the creation of heat-resistant oxide *** structure of binary systems:FeO-Al_(2)O_(3),FeO-TiO_(2),and Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2)is described,and the data on the FeO-TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)system are *** thermodynamic data of all compounds of the system are given,on the basis of which the change in the Gibbs free energy in the temperature range of 800-1900 K for twenty-one exchange reactions was *** has been established that the triangulation of the FeO-TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)system changes in five temperature ranges:up to 1408 K(TiO_(2)exists in the polymorphic modification-anatase),1408-1537 K(TiO_(2)exists in the polymorphic modification-rutile and pseudobrookite is stable),1537-1630 K(thialite is stable),1630-2076 K(rearrangement cannot occur)and above 2076 K(the presence of the stoichiometric compound Al_(4)TiO_(8)is allowed).Two-phase equilibria up to 1408 K are stable:Al_(2)O_(3)-FeTiO_(3),FeTiO_(3)-FeAl_(2)O_(4),and FeAl_(2)O_(4)-Fe_(2)TiO_(4);in the temperature range of 1408-1537 K:FeAl_(2)O_(4)-TiO_(2),FeAl_(2)O_(4)-FeTi_(2)O_(5),FeAl_(2)O_(4)-FeTiO_(3),and FeAl_(2)O_(4)-Fe_(2)TiO_(4);in the temperature range of 1537-1630 K:FeAl_(2)O_(4)-TiO_(2),FeAl_(2)O_(4)-FeTi_(2)O_(5),FeAl_(2)O_(4)-FeTiO_(3),FeAl_(2)O_(4)-Fe_(2)TiO_(4),and FeAl_(2)O_(4)-Al_(2)TiO_(5);in the temperature range of 1630-2076 K:FeTi_(2)O_(5)-Al_(2)TiO_(5),Al_(2)TiO_(5)-FeTiO_(3),FeTiO_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3),FeTiO_(3)-FeAl_(2)O_(4),and FeAl_(2)O_(4)-Fe_(2)TiO_(4);over 2076 K:FeTi_(2)O_(5)-Al_(2)TiO_(5),FeTi_(2)O_(5)-Al_(4)TiO_(8),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-FeTiO_(3),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-Fe_(2)TiO_(4),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-FeO,and Al_(4)TiO_(8)-FeAl_(2)O_(4).

Thermodynamic modeling of mgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) System

This scientific paper gives consideration to the information on the structure of the triple component system,in particular mgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) that serves as a basis for the production of thermal resistance *** structure of such binary systems as mgO-Al_(2)O_(3),Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2),mgO-TiO_(2) was described and the data available for the mgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) system were *** data on all the system compounds were also presented and used for the computation of a change in the free Gibbs energy in the temperature range form 800 K to 1900 K for the basic exchange *** was established that the triangulation of the mgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) system was changed in the three temperature intervals:in the temperature range lower than 1537 K TiO_(2) existed as the polymorphous modification,***;in the temperature range from 1537 K to 2076 K TiO_(2) existed as a polymorphous modification in form of rutile and tialite was stable;and at the temperatures above 2076 K the availability of stochiometric compound of Al4TiO_(8) was *** the temperature range lower than 1537 K the two-phase equilibra of Al_(2)O_(3)-mgTi2O_(5),mg-mgALCU mgTiO_(3)-mgAl_(2)O_(4),and mg_(2)TiO_(4)-mgAl_(2)O_(4) were stable;in the temperature range from 1537 K to 2076 K the two-phase equilibria of mgTigO_(5)-AlgTiO_(5),mgTiO_(3)-Al_(2)TiO_(5),mgTiO_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3),mgTiO_(3)-mgAl_(2)O_(4),and mg_(2)TiO_(4)-mgAl_(2)O_(4) were stable,and above 2076 K the mgTi_(2)O_(5)-Al_(2)TiO_(5),mgTi_(2)O_(5)-Al_(4)TiO_(8),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-mgTiO_(3),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-mg_(2)TiO_(4),Al_(4)TiO_(8)-mg0,and Al_(4)TiO_(8)-mgAl_(2)O_(4) systems were stable.

This scientific paper gives consideration to the information on the contemporary structure of binary systems and three-component CaO-Al_2O_3-ZrO_2 system required to select rational parameters for the synthesis of cementing *** production process of experimental clinker that has a Ca_7Al_6ZrO_（18） composition has been *** data of X-ray phase analysis and petrographic analysis of the experimental composition of special cement have been given and the reasons for availability of inappropriate phases have been *** processes of hydration hardening of the cement stone have been studied and the data of differential thermal analysis were used for the establishment of the hydration mechanism for basic crystal phases in the cement clinker *** differences in the hydration processes of experimental special cement were analyzed in comparison with known mechanisms.A possibility of the exploitation of special binder in contact with ZrO_2（CaO-stabilized）was tested using the specimens of fine concrete that were subjected to thermal treatment in different *** physical and mechanical properties of specimens and the mineralogical composition of concretes were given based on the data of X-ray analysis and the petrographic *** cement additive was selected and its amount in the concrete composition was defined to slow-down the hardening and the mixture plasticization *** relationships of physical and mechanical characteristics of concrete specimens were defined experimentally as a function of granulometric composition of the filler and thermal treatment *** investigation data of corrosion resistance obtained using the static method were used to find out if experimental concretes can operate in contact with the steel-smelting alkaline slag.

Prediction of melting Paths of Wollastonite-Containing Compositions

The article analyzed the main groups of thermal insulation(TIm) and slag-forming(SFm) mixtures produced by leading foreign companies: acidic ones based on the SiO2-Al2O3system, basic ones based on the Ca O-mg O-Al2O3system and medium basic ones based on the Ca O(mg O) system-Al2O3-SiO2. It is shown that achieving the necessary properties of the SFm and TIm requires strict observance of the mass content of the components of mixtures produced on the basis of synthetic materials in granular form with a given dispersion. Compliance with a given composition and dispersion is associated with the need to provide a given melting temperature(for intermediate ladles 1 250-1 450 °C, for molds 950-1 150 °C), neutrality to the cast metal, protection of the melt from secondary oxidation, minimization of heat loss from the melt mirror, absorption of non-metallic inclusions of various natures(Al2O3, Ca O, SiO2, TiO2, less often mg O-containing) and sizes; as well as a number of specific requirements: compatibility with the working layer of the lining of the bucket, maintaining the work of the stoppers, minimizing harmful gaseous emissions, etc. It is known that Al2O3, TixOy, and Ca O refractory inclusions in steel cause the majority of defects on the surface of a cold-rolled sheet, therefore, the aim of the work was to analyze the physicochemical regularities and melting paths of the wollastonite-containing compositions during the assimilation of nonmetallic inclusions by them. To analyze the melting paths of the wollastonite-containing compositions in the Ca O-Al2O3-SiO2system, a diagram of the primary crystallization field of anorthite and the adjacent boundary curves is shown, indicating the directions of temperature drop and designating invariant points. The presented scheme adequately reflects the topological regularities of the state diagram of the Ca O-Al2O3-SiO2system. Understanding the catalysis of chromium trioxide added magnesium hydride for hydrogen storage and Li ion battery applications

This study explores how the chemical interaction between magnesium hydride(mgH_(2))and the additive CrO_(3) influences the hydrogen/lithium storage characteristics of mgH_(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) additive reduces the dehydrogenation activation energy of mgH_(2) by 68 kJ/mol and lowers the required dehydrogenation temperature by 80℃.CrO_(3) added mgH_(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery,and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 mAh/g).Evidence for improved reversibility in the battery reaction is found only after the incorporation of additives with mgH_(2).In depth characterization study by X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique provides convincing evidence that the CrO_(3) additive interacts with mgH_(2) and produces Cr/mgO *** free energy analyses confirm the thermodynamic feasibility of conversion from mgH_(2)/CrO_(3) to mgO/Cr,which is well supported by the identification of Cr(0)in the powder by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEm)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)we found evidence for the presence of 5 nm size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of mgO rock salt *** is also convincing ground to consider that mgO rock salt accommodates Cr in the *** observations support the argument that creation of active metal–metal dissolved rock salt oxide interface may be vital for improving the reactivity of mgH_(2),both for the improved storage of hydrogen and lithium.

Background: COVID-19 limitations have hindered the implementation of new technologies by preventing proctors from coming to the *** share our first experience of magnetic resonance imaging(mRI)-guided focused ultrasound(mRgFUS)treatment with an international remote online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the methodology of remote mRgFUS ***: This single-center,nonrandomized controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential tremor(ET)and 67 with tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease(PD).The coming of proctors was impossible,so we arranged for the remote participation of proctors from the United Kingdom,Spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telemedicine-proctored treatment(proctor group)and 56 received their treatment independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating Scale for Tremor(CRST)for ET patients and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part III for PD ***: In patients with ET,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRST reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).None of the patients showed worsening of tremors within 1 *** patients with PD,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).The UPDRS Part III improvement was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).The 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).No complications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe methodology for telemedicine remote online-proctored mRgFUS *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed remote proctor protocols in terms of complication rate,effect,and long-term results;however,UPDRS Part III improvement was better in the PD solo *** study demonstrated that the mRgFUS international proctorship can be performed successfully remotely.
