Extending the Truncated Dyson-Schwinger Equation to Finite Tem.eratures

In view of the properties of m.sons in hot strongly interacting m.tter, the properties of the solutions of the truncated Dyson-Schwinger equation for the quark propagator at finite tem.eratures within the rainbow-ladder approxim.tion are analysed in som. detail. In Euclidean space within the m.tsubara im.ginary tim. form.lism. the quark propagator is not longer a O(4) sym.etric function and possesses a discrete spectrum.of the fourth com.onent of the m.m.ntum. This m.kes the treatm.nt of the Dyson-Schwinger and Bethe-Salpeter equations conceptually different from.the vacuum.and technically m.ch m.re involved. The question whether the interaction kernel known from.vacuum.calculations can be applied at finite tem.eratures rem.ins still open. We find that, at low tem.eratures, the m.del interaction with vacuum.param.ters provides a reasonable description of the quark propagator, while at tem.eratures higher than a certain critical value Tc the interaction requires stringent m.difications. The general properties of the quark propagator at finite tem.eratures can be inferred from.lattice QCD (LQCD) calculations. We argue that, to achieve a reasonable agreem.nt of the m.del calculations with that from.LQCD, the kernel is to be m.dified in such a way as to screen the infra-red part of the interaction at tem.eratures larger than Tc . For this, we analyse the solutions of the truncated Dyson-Schwinger equation with existing interaction kernels in a large tem.erature range with particular attention on high tem.eratures in order to find hints to an adequate tem.erature dependence of the interaction kernel to be further im.lem.nted in the Bethe-Salpeter equation for m.sons. This will allow investigating the possible in m.dium.m.difications of the m.son properties as well as the conditions of quark deconfinem.nt in hot m.tter.

Understanding the catalysis of chrom.um.trioxide added m.gnesium.hydride for hydrogen storage and Li ion battery applications

This study explores how the chem.cal interaction between m.gnesium.hydride(m.H_(2))and the additive CrO_(3) influences the hydrogen/lithium.storage characteristics of m.H_(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) additive reduces the dehydrogenation activation energy of m.H_(2) by 68 kJ/m.l and lowers the required dehydrogenation tem.erature by 80℃.CrO_(3) added m.H_(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery,and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 m.h/g).Evidence for im.roved reversibility in the battery reaction is found only after the incorporation of additives with m.H_(2).In depth characterization study by X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique provides convincing evidence that the CrO_(3) additive interacts with m.H_(2) and produces Cr/m.O *** free energy analyses confirm.the therm.dynam.c feasibility of conversion from.m.H_(2)/CrO_(3) to m.O/Cr,which is well supported by the identification of Cr(0)in the powder by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** high resolution transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(HRTEm.and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)we found evidence for the presence of 5 nm.size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of m.O rock salt *** is also convincing ground to consider that m.O rock salt accom.odates Cr in the *** observations support the argum.nt that creation of active m.tal–m.tal dissolved rock salt oxide interface m.y be vital for im.roving the reactivity of m.H_(2),both for the im.roved storage of hydrogen and lithium.

Background: COVID-19 lim.tations have hindered the im.lem.ntation of new technologies by preventing proctors from.com.ng to the *** share our first experience of m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)-guided focused ultrasound(m.gFUS)treatm.nt with an international rem.te online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the m.thodology of rem.te m.gFUS ***: This single-center,nonrandom.zed controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential trem.r(ET)and 67 with trem.r-dom.nant Parkinson's disease(PD).The com.ng of proctors was im.ossible,so we arranged for the rem.te participation of proctors from.the United Kingdom.Spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telem.dicine-proctored treatm.nt(proctor group)and 56 received their treatm.nt independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating Scale for Trem.r(CRST)for ET patients and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part III for PD ***: In patients with ET,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRST reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).None of the patients showed worsening of trem.rs within 1 *** patients with PD,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).The UPDRS Part III im.rovem.nt was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).The 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).No com.lications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe m.thodology for telem.dicine rem.te online-proctored m.gFUS *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed rem.te proctor protocols in term. of com.lication rate,effect,and long-term.results;however,UPDRS Part III im.rovem.nt was better in the PD solo *** study dem.nstrated that the m.gFUS international proctorship can be perform.d successfully rem.tely.

Individual alcohol consum.tion by the population of Russia versus regional living conditions

Background:There are substantial regional differences in drinking alcohol in Russia,both at the population and individual ***,the causes of these differences have not been studied ***:The goal of our study was to exam.ne the effect of regional living conditions on individual alcohol consum.tion by the population of ***:For the analysis,we used data from.a cross-sectional epidem.ological study conducted in *** final analytical sam.le included 18,130 people aged 25-64 *** conducted the interviews face to face,based on which any drinking in the last year,as well as alcohol abuse,were considered as a *** abuse was recorded when the respondent consum.d 5.75 or m.re gram. of pure ethanol per day(75th percentile of average daily alcohol consum.tion am.ng alcohol drinkers).The assessm.nt of the regional living conditions was accom.lished via integral indexing,which was previously perform.d based on publicly available data for *** were assessed using generalized scoring equations with unchanging standard *** associations were expressed by odds ratios(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(C).Results:Deterioration of social conditions and increase in dem.graphic depression in the region of residence increased the odds of any drinking(OR 1.51,95%CI:1.33 to 1.72,Pm.nt in the region:OR 1.35,95%CI:1.14 to 1.59,Pm.act of the regional living conditions on individual drinking alcohol in the population of Russia.
