Objective:Vesicoureteral reflux(VUR)index is a simple,validated tool that reliably predicts significant improvement and spontaneous resolution of primary reflux in *** aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the ureter diameter ratio(UDR)and VUR index(VURx)of patients treated with endoscopic injection(EI)and ureteroneocystostomy(UNC)methods in the pediatric age group due to primary ***:Patients under the age of 18 years old who underwent EI and UNC with the diagnosis of primary VUR between January 2011 and September 2021 were determined as the *** UDR was assessed using voiding cystourethrography,and the VURx score was determined prior to treatment based on hospital records included in the ***:A total of 255 patients,60(23.5%)boys and 195(76.5%)girls,with a mean age of 76.5(range 13.0e204.0)months,were included in the *** was applied to 130(51.0%)patients and UNC was applied to 125(49.0%)patients due to primary *** optimum cut-off for the distal UDR was obtained as 0.17 with sensitivity and specificity of 73.0%and 63.0%,*** positive and negative predictive values were 66.0%and 70.0%,***:When the UDR and VURx score are evaluated together for the surgical treatment of primary VUR in the pediatric age group,it is thought that it may be useful in predicting the clinical course of the disease and evaluating surgical treatment options.

The interaction between sites A, B and X with passivation molecules is restricted when the conventional passivation strategy is applied in perovskite（ABX3） photovoltaics. Fortunately, the revolving A-site presents an opportunity to strengthen this interaction by utilizing an external field. Herein, we propose a novel approach to achieving an ordered magnetic dipole moment, which is regulated by a magnetic field via the coupling effect between the chiral passivation molecule and the A-site（formamidine ion） in *** strategy can increase the molecular interaction energy by approximately four times and ensure a well-ordered molecular arrangement. The quality of the deposited perovskite film is significantly optimized with inhibited nonradiative recombination. It manages to reduce the open-circuit voltage loss of photovoltaic devices to 360 mV and increase the power conversion efficiency to 25.22%. This finding provides a new insight into the exploration of A-sites in perovskites and offers a novel route to improving the device performance of perovskite photovoltaics.

We computationally investigate the impact of crystal strain on the formation of native point defects likely to be formed in halide perovskites;A-site cation antisite(I_(A)),Pb antisite(I_(Pb)),A-site cation vacany(V_(A)),I vacancy(V_(I)),Pb vacancy(V_(Pb)),and I interstitial(I_(i)).We systematically identify compressive and tensile strain to CsPbI_(3),FAPbI_(3),and MAPbI_(3)perovskite *** observe that while each type of defect has a unique behaviour,overall,the defect formation in FAPbI3 is much more sensitive to the *** compressive strain can enhance the formation energy of neutral I_(Pb)and I_(i)up to 15%for FAPbI_(3),depending on the growth *** show that the strain not only controls the formation of defects but also their transition levels in the band gap:A deep level can be transformed into a shallow level by the *** anticipate that tailoring the lattice strain can be used as a defect passivation mechanism for future studies.

AIM:To determine the association between H pylori infection and serum ghrelin levels in patients without atrophic ***:Fifty consecutive patients(24 males and 26 females)with either H pylori-positive gastritis(n = 34)or H pylori-negative gastritis(n = 16)with normal gastric acid secretion determined by 24-h pHmetry and without atrophic gastritis in histopathology were enrolled in this ***-four H pylori-infected patients were treated with triple therapy consisting of a daily regimen of 30 mg lansoprazole bid,1 g amoxicillin bid and 500 mg clarithromycin bid for 14 d,followed by an additional 4 wk of 30 mg lansoprazol treatment.H pylori infection was eradicated in 23 of 34(67.6%)patients.H pylori-positive patients were given eradication *** acidity was determined via intragastric pH *** ghrelin was measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).RESULTS:There was no signifficant difference in plasma ghrelin levels between H pylori-positive and H pylori-negative groups(81.10 ± 162.66 ng/L vs 76.51 ± 122.94 ng/L).In addition,there was no significant difference in plasma ghrelin levels and gastric acidity levels measured before and 3 mo after the eradication ***:H pylori infection does not influence ghrelin secretion in patients with chronic gastritis without atrophic gastritis.

Rosa canina is a member of the genus Rosa that has long been used for medical objectives. Several studies have reported cytotoxic effects of different Rosa species, but there has been only limited investigation of the cytotoxic effect of R. canina. The purpose of the current study was to examine the potential effect of *** extract on cell viability, the cell cycle, apoptosis, and the expression of telomerase in human colon cancer(WiDr) cells. The cytotoxic effect of the extract was determined using MTT assay. The mechanism involved in the cytotoxic effect of the extract was then evaluated in terms of apoptosis and the cell cycle using flow cytometry. Mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP) was investigated using the fluorometric method, and expression levels of telomerase were studied using RT-PCR. R. canina extract exhibited a selective cytotoxic effect on WiDr cells compared with normal colon cells. The extract induced cell cycle arrest at the S phase and apoptosis via reduced MMP in WiDr cells. R. canina extract significantly repressed telomerase expressions at treatment times of 48 and 72 h in WiDr cells. Our results suggest that R. canina may have considerable potential for development as a novel natural product-based anticancer agent.

AIM： To investigate the role of vasoactive intestinal peptide（VIP） in form-deprivation myopia（FDM）.METHODS： FDM was created in three groups of eight chicks by placing a translucent diffuser on their right *** injections of saline and VIP were applied once a day into the occluded eyes of groups 2 and 3,*** and axial length（AL） measurements were performed on the first and 8^th days of diffuser *** retina mR NA levels of the VIP receptors and the ZENK protein in right eyes of the three groups and left eyes of the first group on day 8 were determined using real time polymerase chain reaction（PCR）.RESULTS： The median final refraction（D） in right eyes were-13.75（-16.00,-12.00）,-11.50（-12.50,-7.50）,and-1.50（-4.75,-0.75） in groups 1,2,and 3,respectively（P〈0.001）.The median AL（mm） in right eyes were 10.65（10.00,11.10）,9.90（9.70,10.00）,and 9.20（9.15,9.25） in groups 1,2,and 3,respectively（P〈0.001）.The median delta-delta cycle threshold（CT） values for the VIP2 receptors were 1.07（0.82,1.43）,1.22（0.98,1.65）,0.29（0.22,0.45） in right eyes of groups 1,2,and 3,and 1.18（0.90,1.37） in left eyes of group 1,respectively（P=0.001）.The median delta-delta CT values for the ZENK protein were 1.07（0.63,5.03）,3.55（2.20,5.55）,undetectable in right eyes of groups 1,2,and 3 and 1.89（0.21,4.73） in left eyes of group 1,respectively（P=0.001）.CONCLUSION： VIP has potential inhibitory effects in the development of FDM.

AIM:To assess the reliability and practical applicability of the widely used Alvarado,Eskelinen,Ohhmann and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Appendicitis(RIPASA)scoring systems in patients with suspected acute ***:Patients admitted to our tertiary center due to suspected acute appendicitis constituted the study *** were divided into two *** group(Group A)consisted of patients who underwent appendectomy and were histopathologically diagnosed with acute appendicitis,and non-appendicitis group(Group N-A)consisted of patients who underwent negative appendectomy and were diagnosed with pathologies other than appendicitis and patients that were followed *** operative findings for the patients,the additional analyses from follow up of the patients and the results of those analyses were recorded using the follow-up ***:One hundred and thirteen patients with suspected acute appendicitis were included in the *** the 113 patients(62 males,51 females),the mean age was 30.2±10.1(range 18-67)*** the 113patients,94 patients underwent surgery,while the rest were followed *** the 94 patients,77patients were histopathologically diagnosed with acute *** study showed a sensitivity level of81%for the Alvarado system when a cut-off value of 6.5was used,a sensitivity level of 83.1%for the Ohmann system when a cut-off value of 13.75 was used,a sensitivity level of 80.5%for the Eskelinen system when a cut-off value of 63.72 was used,and a sensitivity level of 83.1%for the RIPASA system when a cut-off value of 10.25 was ***:The Ohmann and RIPASA scoring systems had the highest specificity for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.

数字知识生产中行为体的权力动态机制如何定义全球科学与人文框架?在努力推动建立一个基于平等获取资源、包容性参与和认识论多样性之价值观的网络化全球学术体系方面,学者们到达了哪里?文章通过探讨全球知识基础设施的社会维度--连接、标准化与可获取来介入对这些问题的研究,以理解全球数字人文的规范和实体化。随着数字实践活动在世界各地的扩展,数字人文社区在努力确保该领域发展中人们的包容性参与和平等机会。文章指出,现有基础设施发展不均衡是全球范围内数字人文发展差异的根源。借助科学技术学(STS),文章提出学术共同体可以诉诸数字人文的“基础设施建设”来消除这些不均衡。基础设施作为一个分析性概念,将注意力从“结构”转移到合作创造的“过程”,这种合作创造通过参与式设计实现,即重视通过公众参与、共享利益及与利益相关者的长期关系来创建网络,而平等的机会以及新型关联形式将从其中萌生。这将涉及在全球知识基础设施之上建立一个由独特的地方社区节点组成的包容性网络。
