Regioregular poly(3-hexylthio)thiopene(p3HTT) has emerged tremendous potential in organic electronic applications due to the strong noncovalent interactions from the sulfur atom linked to thiophene. However, p3HTT generally exhibits low charge mobility mostly due to poor solution processability attributed to dense arrangement of hexylthio side chain in polymer, which led to strong noncovalent interactions among sulfur atoms. To balance the nonvalent interaction and aggregation for p3HTT, herein, we systematically study the effect of hexylthio side chain content in polymer backbone on the structure and properties. A series of regioregular p3HTT-based homopolymers(p3HTT, p3HTT-50,p3HTT-33 and p3HTT-25) were prepared via Kumada catalyst transfer polycondensation method from a set of mono-, bi-, ter-and quarterthiophenes containing different contents of hexylthio side chain. The DFT calculation shows the planarity of polymers backbone could be improved through reducing the density of hexylthio side chain in polymer mainchain. And significant changes in their crystallinity, aggregation and optical properties were observed with the content of hexylthio side chain reducing. The p3HTT-33 displayed the highest field-effect transistor hole mobility of 2.83×10^(-2) cm^(2)·v^(-1)·s^(-1) resulting from a balance between the crystallinity and planarity. This study demonstrates modulating the content of hexylthio side chain in p3HTT is an effective strategy to optimize the opto-electronic properties of polymer obtaining excellent semiconductor device performance.

A novel layered perovskite tantalate phosphor Sr_(3)LaTa_(3)O_(12):Sm^(3+)(SLTO:Sm^(3+)) with orange-red emission was obtained for the first time via the solid-phase synthetic method. The phase purity, surface morphology,element distribution and luminescent properties of the SLTO:xSm^(3+)(x= 0.01 mol%-0.30 mol%) phosphors were investigated. Under 408 nm excitation, the optimum doped SLTO:0.10Sm^(3+) phosphor emits orangered light at 598 nm with the highest emission peak(4G_(5/2)→6H_(7/2)). The critical energy transfer distance is 1.687 nm. The prepared SLTO:0.10Sm^(3+)phosphor has excellent thermal stability with temperature quenching temperature(T_(0.5)> 500 K) and high activation energy(E_(a)= 0.25 e v). Through calculation, the chromaticity coordinates of all samples are concentrated in the orange-red area, and the color purity reaches 99%. The fabricated white light-emitting diode(w-LED) has a good correlated color temperature(5132 K), a high R_(a)(89), and the CIE chromaticity coordinates(0.340, 0.327). Consequently, the superiority of orange-red-emitting tantalate SLTO:Sm^(3+) phosphors for w-LEDs is demonstrated.

TiO_(2)-supported v_(2)O_(5)catalysts are commonly used in NO_(x)reduction with ammonia due to their robust catalytic *** these catalysts,it is generally considered that the active species are mainly derived from the vanadia species rather than the intrinsic structure of v-O-Ti entities,namely the interface *** reveal the role of v-O-Ti entities in NH_(3)-SCR,herein,we prepared TiO_(2)/v_(2)O_(5)catalysts and demonstrated that v-O-Ti entities were more active for NO_(x)reduction under wet conditions than the v sites(v=O)working *** the v-O-Ti entities,kinetic measurements and first principles calculations revealed that NH_(3)activation exhibited a much lower energy barrier than that on v=O *** wet conditions,the v-O-Ti interface significantly inhibited the transformation of v=O to v-OH sites thus benefiting NH_(3)*** wet conditions,meanwhile,the migration of NH_(4)^(+)from Ti site neighboring the v-O-Ti interface to Ti site of the v-O-Ti interface was exothermic;thus,v-O-Ti entities together with neighboring Ti sites could serve as channels linking NH_(3)pool and active centers for activation of NH_(4)^(+).This finding reveals that the v-O-Ti interface sites on v-based catalysts play a crucial role in NO_(x)removal under realistic conditions,providing a new perspective on NH_(3)-SCR mechanism.

Dynamic emission characteristics and control strategies of air pollutants from motor vehicles in downtown Beijing,China

This study combined the real-time monitoring and investigation of traffic flows to comprehensively analyze the road traffic flow and vehicle structure in downtown Beijing.A dynamic emission inventory of motor vehicle air pollutants in downtown Beijing in 2021 was established,and the impact of these emissions on air quality was simulated and quantified,and different emission reduction control scenarios were proposed to evaluate their environmental improvement effects and explore measures to mitigate the impact of pollution *** results show that the high traffic flow and the structure of the motor vehicle emissions in downtown Beijing are the main causes of severe motor vehicle *** data shows that traffic flow in central Beijing is dominated by small passenger vehicles,while the vehicle mix is better than in other regions,with 72.0%of vehicles meeting"National v"or higher emission ***,to achieve higher air quality goals,further reducing vehicle emissions is *** on dynamic traffic flow,the average daily emissions of nitrogen oxides(NOX),particulate matters(pM_(2.5))and volatile organic compounds(vOC)from motor vehicles in central Beijing are 17.7 tons,0.6 tons and 14.0 tons,respectively,accounting for 23.0%of the city’s average daily motor vehicle *** a zero-emission zone for motor vehicles were implemented in central Beijing,the annual average emission level of pollutants will be reduced by 10.4%to 21.0%.The designation of ultra-low emission zones for motor vehicles could be effective in improving the air quality in the center of Beijing.

In the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions,the efficiency of the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in alkaline conditions has been a significant challenge,primarily due to the sluggish dissociation of water molecules on platinum(pt)*** this critical issue,our study introduces an innovative pt-Co@NCS *** catalyst synergistically combines pt nanoparticles with Co single atoms on a nitrogen-doped carbon scaffold,overcoming the traditional bottleneck of slow water *** unique porous concave structure and nitrogen-enriched surface not only provide abundant anchoring sites for Co atoms but also create a conducive hydrophilic environment around the pt *** design leads to a drastic improvement in the water dissociation process,as demonstrated by CO stripping and deuterium labeling *** an outstanding current density of 162.8 mA cm^(−2) at−0.1 v versus RHE,a Tafel slope of 26.2 mv dec^(−1),and a superior nominal mass activity of 15.75 mAμgpt^(−1),the pt-Co@NCS catalyst represents a significant step forward in enhancing alkaline HER efficiency,indicating promising advancements in the field.
