The resveratrol-enriched transgenic rice line Iksan526(IS526),first developed by the Rural Development Administration of Korea using genetic engineering techniques,shows beneficial health effects in mitigating metabolic syndrome and ***,the effects of IS526 on the differentiation of chondrocytes and the underlying mechanism have not been investigated in *** this study,the effects and cellular regulatory mechanisms of IS526 on rabbit articular chondrocytes were *** IS526 callus extract treatment,the expression levels of differentiation-related proteins were detected via western blotting,Alcian blue staining and immune-luorescence ***526 decreased the type Ⅱ collagen and proteoglycan levels in dose-and time-dependent *** further analyzed the effects of IS526 on skeleton genesis in zebrafish larvae using Alcian blue staining,which showed a reduction in cartilage formation along with increased production of matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-***526 also increased the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and p38 kinase but inhibited the phosphorylation of *** inhibition of MMP-13 blocked the IS526-induced decrease in type Ⅱ collagen *** of p38 kinase or PI-3K/Akt with SB203580 and LY294002 enhanced the suppression of type Ⅱ collagen,but the blockage of ERK-1/2 by PD98059 rescued IS526-induced *** results suggested that IS526 regulates type Ⅱ collagen and MMP-13 expression via the ERK1/2 and PI-3K/Akt pathways in rabbit articular chondrocytes.

Hybrid Deep Learning Architecture to Forecast Maximum Load Duration Using Time-of-Use Pricing Plans

Load forecasting has received crucial research attention to reduce peak load and contribute to the stability of power grid using machine learning or deep learning ***,we need the adequate model to forecast the maximum load duration based on time-of-use,which is the electricity usage fare policy in order to achieve the goals such as peak load reduction in a power ***,the existing single machine learning or deep learning forecasting cannot easily avoid ***,a majority of the ensemble or hybrid models do not achieve optimal results for forecasting the maximum load duration based on *** overcome these limitations,we propose a hybrid deep learning architecture to forecast maximum load duration based on *** results indicate that this architecture could achieve the highest average of recall and accuracy(83.43%)compared to benchmark *** verify the effectiveness of the architecture,another experimental result shows that energy storage system(ESS)scheme in accordance with the forecast results of the proposed model(LSTM-MATO)in the architecture could provide peak load cost savings of 17,535,700 KRW each year comparing with original peak load costs without the ***,the proposed architecture could be utilized for practical applications such as peak load reduction in the grid.

Steel applied in ocean environment is exposed to corrosion and cavitation and is subject to increasing damages. To prevent this, anti-corrosion thermal spray coating technique is widely used. The low-temperature thermal spray coating was performed with 85%Al-14.5%Zn-0.5%Zr for ship materials and various sealing materials were applied to improve its durability, and the electrochemical behavior and cavitation characteristics were observed. The results show that the sealing improves all the properties of the materials. Hybrid ceramic and fluoro-silicon sealing materials show good electrochemical characteristics, and the fluoro-silieon sealing material shows the best anti-cavitation characteristics.

Sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes are promising materials for high-performance safe solid-state *** high ion conductivity,mechanical characteristics,and good processability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes are desirable properties for realizing high-performance safe solid-state batteries by replacing conventional liquid ***,the low chemical and electrochemical stability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes hinder the commercialization of sulfide-based safe solid-state ***,the instability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes is intensified in the cathode,comprising various *** this study,carbonate-based ionic conductive polymers are introduced to the cathode to protect cathode materials and suppress the reactivity of sulfide *** instruments,including electrochemical spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and scanning electron microscopy,confirm the chemical and electrochemical stability of the polymer electrolytes in contact with sulfide-based inorganic solid ***-based solid-state cells show stable electrochemical performance over 100 cycles when the ionic conductive polymers were applied to the cathode.

A transparent energy storage device is an essential component for transparent *** increasing demand for high-power devices stimulates the development of transparent supercapacitors with high power density.A transparent electrode for such supercapacitors can be assembled via the electrophoretic deposition of an active material powder with a binder onto a transparent *** properties of the binder critically influence the electrochemical behavior and performance of the resulting *** cellulose(EC)is known as an eco-friendly,transparent,flexible,and inexpensive ***,we fabricated an electrode film with EC binder via electrophoretic deposition on an indium tin oxide(ITO)substrate instead of using the conventional polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)*** assembled electrodes with EC and PTFE were compared to investigate the feasibility of EC as a binder from different perspectives,including homogeneity,wettability,electrochemical behavior,and mechanical *** EC enabled the formation of a homogeneous film composed of smaller particles and with a higher specific capacitance compared with films prepared with *** annealing improved the adhesion strength of the EC because of its glass transition;however,its hydrophobic nature limited utilization of the active material for charge *** electrochemical activation improved the wettability of the electrode,resulting in an increased capacitance of 60 F g^(-1).Furthermore,even with the lower wettability of EC compared with that of PTFE,better rate performance was possible with the EC *** increased mechanical stability after the annealing process ensured an excellent cycle life of 95%capacitance retention for 15,000 cycles.

Since the first report of amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O based thin film transistors,interest in oxide semiconductors has *** offer high mobility,low off-current,low process temperature,and wide flexibility for compositions and ***,depositing oxide semiconductors using conventional processes like physical vapor deposition leads to problematic issues,especially for high-resolution displays and highly integrated memory *** approaches have limited process flexibility and poor conformality on structured *** layer deposition(ALD)is an advanced technique which can provide conformal,thickness-controlled,and high-quality thin film ***,studies on ALD based oxide semiconductors have dramatically increased *** so,the relationships between the film properties of ALD-oxide semiconductors and the main variables associated with deposition are still poorly understood,as are many issues related to *** this review,to introduce ALD-oxide semiconductors,we provide:(a)a brief summary of the history and importance of ALD-based oxide semiconductors in industry,(b)a discussion of the benefits of ALD for oxide semiconductor deposition(in-situ composition control in vertical distribution/vertical structure engineering/chemical reaction and film properties/insulator and interface engineering),and(c)an explanation of the challenging issues of scaling oxide semiconductors and ALD for industrial *** review provides valuable perspectives for researchers who have interest in semiconductor materials and electronic device applications,and the reasons ALD is important to applications of oxide semiconductors.

The increasing trend of the Southern Annular Mode （SAM） in recent decades has influenced climate change in the Southem Hemisphere （SH）.How the SAM will respond increased greenhouse gas concentrations in the future remains *** the variability of the SAM in the past under a colder climate such as during the Last Glacial Maximum （LGM） might provide some understanding of the response of the SAM under a future warmer *** analyzed the changes in the SAM during the LGM in comparison to pre-industrial （PI） simulations using five coupled ocean-atmosphere models （CCSM,FGOALS,IPSL,MIROC,HadCM） from the second phase of the Paleoclimate Modelling Intercomparison Project （PMIP2）.In CCSM,MIROC,IPSL,and FGOALS,the variability of the simulated SAM appears to be reduced in the LGM compared to the PI simulations,with a decrease in the standard deviation of the SAM ***,four out of the five models suggest a weaker SAM amplitude in the LGM consistent with a weaker SH polar vortex and westerly winds found in some proxy records and model *** weakening of the SAM in the LGM was associated with an increase in the vertical propagation of Rossby waves in southern high latitudes.

Intestinal health is essential for the resistance to enteric diseases and for nutrient digestion and absorption to support *** intestine of nursery pigs are immature and vulnerable to external challenges,which cause negative impacts on the structure and function of the *** nutritional interventions,the benefits of milk are significant for the intestinal health of *** coproducts have traditionally been used in starter feeds to improve the growth of nursery pigs,but their use is somewhat limited due to the high costs and potential risks of excessive lactose on the ***,understanding a proper feeding level of milk carbohydrates is an important start of the feeding *** nursery pigs,lactose is considered a highly digestible energy source compared with plant-based starch,whereas milk oligosaccharides are considered bioactive compounds modulating intestinal immunity and ***,milk carbohydrates,mainly composed of lactose and oligosaccharides,have essential roles in the intestinal development and functions of nursery *** proper feeding levels of lactose in starter feeds could be variable by weaning age,body weight,or genetic *** of lactose and milk oligosaccharides have been broadly studied in human health and animal ***,this review focuses on the mechanisms of lactose and milk oligosaccharides affecting intestinal maturation and functions through modulation of enterocyte proliferation,intestinal immunity,and intestinal microbiota of nursery pigs.

鉴于当前的饲喂方案在支持现代母猪繁殖性能的快速遗传改良方面存在局限性，本综述的目的在于识别现代母猪所面临的营养挑战，并提出可能的解决方案，从而缓解与近期遗传改良相关的母体组织过度损失和繁殖失败。自2012年以来，母猪分娩时的窝产仔数增加了2.26头，仔猪初生重增加了0.22kg，这提高了母猪在妊娠期和哺乳期的营养需要量。本综述生成的预测模型显示，与当前饲喂方案相比，现代母猪在妊娠期需要额外补充赖氨酸。另一方面，本综述还讨论了现代母猪所面临的生理挑战。高氧化应激、盆腔器官脱垂和跛行不仅会直接影响母猪的繁殖性能，还会对初乳和常乳的品质造成负面影响。因此，人们对研究特定生物活性化合物作为饲料添加剂的作用，以减轻这些挑战的负面影响越来越有兴趣。其中，硒源、儿茶素和特定植物提取物已被用于减轻母猪的氧化应激，氯化钙和植酸酶已被用于缓解盆腔器官脱垂和跛行，藻类和酵母的提取物已被用于改善初乳和常乳的品质，纤维源和益生菌已普遍被用于改善肠道健康。总体而言，本综述阐述了现代母猪饲喂方案所面临的独特挑战，并指出了通过修正母猪氨基酸需要量以及使用特定生物活性化合物提高其繁殖性能的方法。
