Mg alloys possess an inherent plastic anisotropy owing to the selective activation of deformation mechanisms depending on the loading *** characteristic results in a diverse range of flow curves that vary with a deformation *** study proposes a novel approach for accurately predicting an anisotropic deformation behavior of wrought Mg alloys using machine learning(ML)with data *** developed model combines four key strategies from data science:learning the entire flow curves,generative adversarial networks(GAN),algorithm-driven hyperparameter tuning,and gated recurrent unit(GRU)*** proposed model,namely GAN-aided GRU,was extensively evaluated for various predictive scenarios,such as interpolation,extrapolation,and a limited dataset *** model exhibited significant predictability and improved generalizability for estimating the anisotropic compressive behavior of ZK60 Mg alloys under 11 annealing conditions and for three loading *** GAN-aided GRU results were superior to those of previous ML models and constitutive *** superior performance was attributed to hyperparameter optimization,GAN-based data augmentation,and the inherent predictivity of the GRU for *** a first attempt to employ ML techniques other than artificial neural networks,this study proposes a novel perspective on predicting the anisotropic deformation behaviors of wrought Mg alloys.

Mesoporous titanium dioxide films were fabricated on titanium plates by micro-arc oxidation *** increase the photocatalytic activity of the films,NH4NO3 was added to the H2SO4 solution,and anodizing was carried out at high voltages using a DC power *** crystal structure,chemical composition,surface morphology and the optical property of the films were investigated by XPS,XRD,UV-VIS spectroscopy and *** photocatalytic activity of the films was evaluated by the decomposition of aniline blue,and the activity of the films for the degradation turned out to be improved by the additives to the electrolyte *** enhanced photocatalytic activity might result from the increased porosity and nitrate ion incorporation into the anodic films by micro arcing,and thereby the TiO2 layer might exhibit an improved absorption property for the visible light.

TiO2 nanotube layers can be formed with titanium in the electrolytes containing fluoride by electrochemical *** role of fluoride ion,the crystallinity of the anodic oxide,and the chemical state were *** results show the anodic film is composed of oxide and a little amount of *** presence of F- ions leads to chemical dissolution of Ti oxide layer and prevents hydroxide ***,chemical dissolution rate increases with increasing the fluoride content in the range of 0-2%(in mass fraction) because F- ions in electrolyte attack the interface and allow the ions of the electrolyte to easily penetrate into the *** as-anodized TiO2 nanotubes exhibit an amorphous *** treated nanotubes are composed of mixtures of the anatase and rutile phases.

Based on the coupling of two distant three-level atoms in two separate optical cavities connected with two optical fibres, schemes on the generation of several two-qubit logic gates are discussed under the conditions of △ = δ- 2v cos πk/2 〉〉 g/2 and v-g. Discussion and analysis of the fidelity, gate time and experimental setups show that our schemes are feasible with current optical cavity, atomic trap and optical fibre techniques. Moreover, the atom-cavityfibre coupling can be used to generate an N-qubit nonlocal entanglement and transfer quantum information among N distant atoms by arranging N atom cavity assemblages in a line and connecting each two adjacent cavities with two optical fibres.

In this paper,since the Avalanche Photo Diode(APD)for Light-to-Voltage LTV conversion uses a high voltage in the operating range unlike other Photo Diodes(PD),the quenching resistor must be connected in series to prevent overcurrent when using the Transimpedance Amplifier(TIA).In such a case,quenching resistance may affect the transfer function of the TIA circuit,resulting in serious ***,in this paper,by analyzing the effect of APD quenching resistance on the voltage and current loop transfer function of TIA,we proposed a loop analysis and a method for determining the quenching resistance value to improve stability.A TIA circuit with quenching resistance was designed by the proposed method and its operational stability was verified through simulation and chip fabrication.

This study evaluated the association of periurethral calcification(PUC)with uroflowmetric parameters and symptom severity in male patients with lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).The data were collected from a prospectively maintained database of 1321 men with LUTS of BPH who visited Chonnam National University Hospital(gwang-ju,Korea)from January 2015 to December *** severity and location were evaluated on the midsagittal plane during transrectal *** among age,prostate-related parameters,International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),and uroflowmetric parameters were *** the 1321 patients in this study,530(40.1%)had *** with PUC had significantly higher IPSS(mean±standard deviation[s.d.]:15.1±8.7 vs 13.1±7.9;P<0.001)and lower peak flow rate(Qmax;mean±s.d.:12.4±6.6 ml s^(-1) vs 14.7±13.3 ml s^(-1);P<0.001),compared with patients who did not have *** according to PUC severity revealed that patients with severe PUC had higher prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level(P=0.009),higher total IPSS(P<0.001),lower Qmax(P=0.002),and smaller prostate volume(P<0.001),compared with patients who had non-severe(mild or moderate)*** analysis showed that distal PUC was independently associated with high total IPSS(P=0.02),voiding symptom score(P=0.04),and storage symptom score(P=0.023),and low Qmax(P=0.015).In conclusion,PUC was significantly associated with worse LUTS parameters in terms of IPSS and ***,distally located PUC was independently associated with worse LUTS of BPH in men.
