Efficacy of chemotherapy containing bevacizumab in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer according to programmed cell death ligand 1

Changes in microorganisms and metabolites during long-term fermentation of commercially manufactured anchovy sauce

This study was performed to investigate the changes in microbial communities and metabolites during the long-term fermentation of commercially manufactured anchovy sauce. Samples of commercial anchovy sauce were collected from large-scale fermentation tanks with fermentation periods of up to 7.87 years. The complex bacterial community was simplified to two genera， Tetragenococcus and Halanaerobium， after approximately 0.55 years of fermentation. Although genera， such as Saccharomyces， Cladosporium， Candida， and Aspergillus， were relatively dominant， no clear pattern was identified in fungal community analysis. The longitudinal metabolite profile demonstrated that approximately half (55.8%) of the metabolites present in anchovy sauce were produced within a year of fermentation due to rapid fermentation. Despite the static microbial community， the contents of several metabolites including amino acids and biogenic amines changed continuously during the long-term fermentation of anchovy sauce. This study provides novel insights into the changes in microbiota and metabolites in fish sauce produced without any starter inoculation.

BACKGROUND In rhinoplasty,calcification around silicone implants is frequently observed in the tip dorsum(TD)***,based on a review of various literature,it is presumed that calcification in silicone implants occurs due to both inflammatory chemical reactions and physical friction against the *** calcification of nasal silicone implants not only results in the functional loss of the implants,but also leads to material ***,there is a lack of research on calcification of nasal silicone implants in the current *** To elucidate various clinical characteristics of calcification around nasal silicone implants,using histological and radiological *** This study analyzed data from 16 patients of calcified nasal implants,who underwent revision rhinoplasty for various reasons after undergoing augmentation rhinoplasty with silicone *** collected data included information on implant duration,implant types,location of calcification,presence of inflammatory reactions,and computed tomography(CT)*** The most common location of calcification,as visually analyzed,was in the TD area,accounting for 56%.Additionally,the analysis of CT scans revealed a trend of increasing hounsfield Unit values for calcification with the duration of implantation,although this trend was not statistically significant(P=0.139).CONCLUSION Our study shows that reducing the frequency of calcification may be achievable by using softer silicone implants and by minimizing the damage to perioperative tissues.

目的通过优化AlCrSiN/AlCrMoSiN多层复合涂层的调制周期,提升涂层的力学性能和摩擦学性能。方法采用高功率脉冲磁控溅射与脉冲直流磁控溅射复合技术,固定调制比为5∶1,制备具有不同调制周期的AlCrSiN/AlCrMoSiN多层复合涂层。利用XRD和SEM分析涂层物相组成,观察其微观形貌;借助纳米压痕仪、划痕仪、高温摩擦试验机及轮廓仪测试涂层的硬度、弹性模量、临界载荷,以及摩擦磨损性能。结果掺杂Mo元素后,AlCrMoSiN层生成了大量的非晶相,并观察到沿AlN(111)晶面共格外延生长。AlCrSiN/AlCrMoSiN多层复合涂层表面颗粒随着调制周期的增大逐渐变小,整体呈“花椰菜”状,且致密、无缺陷。随着调制周期的增大,硬度、H/E和H^(3)/E^(*2)呈先升高后降低的趋势;涂层的平均摩擦因数呈先降低后升高的趋势。当调制周期为145 nm(AlCrSiN层厚度约为120 nm,AlCrMoSiN层厚度约为25 nm)时,多层涂层中层间界面清晰,涂层的硬度最高,约为24.9GPa,摩擦因数和磨损率均最低,分别为0.57、1.46×10^(-6)mm^(3)/(N·m),临界载荷为75.8N。结论多层复合涂层的调制周期对其结构和性能具有重要影响,当调制周期为145nm时,AlCrSiN/AlCrMoSiN多层复合涂层具有最佳的综合性能。

Glutamic acid supplementation recovers the reduced performance of weanling pigs fed reduced crude protein diets

This study was conducted to evaluate the supplementation of glutamic acid(Glu)to reduced protein diets on the performance of weanling *** hundred and eighty crossbred weanling pigs([YorkshireLandrace]Duroc,21 d old)having similar body weight(BW)of 6.45 kg were randomly allotted to 1 of 6 dietary treatments(5 pigs per pen[2 barrows and 3 gilts];6 pens per treatment)based on BW and sex during a 6-week *** treatments consisted of positive control(PC)diet formulated to have 226.9,205.6,and 188.8 g crude protein(CP)during phases 1,2,and 3,respectively,and negative control(NC)diets with 20 g CP reduction from PC diets and addition of Glu with increasing levels,resulting in the calculated Lys-to-Glu ratios of 1:2.25,1:2.30.1:2.35,1:2.40,and 1:2.45,designated as NC,NC1,NC2,NC3,and NC4,*** BW of pigs receiving PC diet was higher(Phose receiving NC diet at d 7,21 and 42.A higher(P<0.05)average daily gain(ADG)from d 1 to 7,8 to 21,22 to 42 and during the overall experiment period was observed in pigs fed PC than NC *** fed NC diets including the graded level of Glu linearly increased(P<0.05)BW at d 42,ADG and gain-to-feed ratio(G:F)during the overall experimental *** addition,trends in linear increase in BW(P=0.056)at d 7 and ADG from d 1 to 7 and d 22 to 42(linear effect,P=0.081,P=0.058 respectively)were observed.A tendency in the linear increment of NH3(P=0.082)at d 21 and linear reduction in methyl mercaptans(P=0.054)emission at d 42 was observed in pigs fed NC diets supplemented with graded level of *** conclusion,supplementing the reduced protein diet with Glu enhanced the growth performance in weanling pigs suggesting that supplementation of Glu can compensate the reduction of 2%CP in the basal diets.

Metaverse is one of the main technologies in the daily lives of several people,such as education,tour systems,and mobile application ***,the number of users of mobile metaverse applications is increasing owing to the merit of accessibility *** provide an improved service,it is important to analyze online reviews that contain user *** previous studies have utilized traditional methods,such as the structural equation model(SEM)and technology acceptance method(TAM)for exploring user satisfaction,using limited survey *** methods may not be appropriate for analyzing the users of mobile *** overcome this limitation,several researchers perform user experience analysis through online reviews and star ***,some online reviews occasionally have inconsistencies between the star rating and the sentiment of the *** variation disturbs the performance of machine *** alleviate the inconsistencies,Valence Aware Dictionary and sEntiment Reasoner(VADER),which is a sentiment classifier based on lexicon,is *** current study aims to build a more accurate sentiment classifier based on machine learning with *** this study,five sentiment classifiers are used,such as Naïve Bayes,K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN),Logistic Regression,Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LightGBM),and Categorical boosting algorithm(Catboost)with three embedding methods(Bag-of-Words(BoW),Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency(TF-IDF),Word2Vec).The results show that classifiers that apply VADER outperform those that do not apply VADER,excluding one classifier(Logistic Regression with Word2Vec).Moreover,LightGBM with TF-IDF has the highest accuracy 88.68%among other models.

Analyzing Research and Development(R&D)trends is important because it can influence future decisions regarding R&D *** typical trend analysis,topic or technology taxonomies are employed to compute the popularities of the topics or codes over *** it is simple and effective,the taxonomies are difficult to manage because new technologies are introduced ***,recent studies exploit deep learning to extract pre-defined targets such as problems and *** on the recent advances in question answering(QA)using deep learning,we adopt a multi-turn QA model to extract problems and solutions from Korean R&D *** the previous research,we use the reports directly and analyze the difficulties in handling them using QA style on Information Extraction(IE)for sentence-level benchmark *** investigating the characteristics of Korean R&D,we propose a model to deal with multiple and repeated appearances of targets in the ***,we propose a model that includes an algorithm with two novel modules and a prompt.A newly proposed methodology focuses on reformulating a question without a static template or pre-defined *** show the effectiveness of the proposed model using a Korean R&D report dataset that we constructed and presented an in-depth analysis of the benefits of the multi-turn QA model.
