雄性不育性状被用在植物育种中,以降低种子生产成本。雄性不育分为细胞核雄性不育(GMS)和细胞质雄性不育(CMS)2种类型,在辣椒商业育种中都有应用。因为缺少恢复源,细胞质雄性不育系统在诸如甜椒等一些辣椒品种上并不适用。因此,细胞核雄性不育对于甜椒的种子生产而言就非常重要。本研究构建了一个F2分离群体,利用集群分离分析法(BSA)和扩增片段长度多态性(AFLP)技术获得了一个与甜椒细胞核雄性不育连锁的标记。我们分析了1024对AFLP引物,发现Eco RI ACG/MseIGTT引物扩出了多态性。对多态性AFLP标记所扩增的395bp片段重新设计引物,进行高分辨率熔解曲线分析(HRM)。在92个F2单株中,有87个单株的性状和HRM标记表型相一致。这个HRM标记被定位在AC99连锁图的第5号染色体上。

AIM:To identify computed tomography(CT)findings that are associated with the presence of bacteremia in patients with acute pyelonephritis(APN)due to Escherichia coli(***).METhoDS:The clinical data and contrast-enhanced CT findings of 128 patients who were diagnosed with APN due to *** and showed renal abnormality on contrast-enhanced CT between January 2003 and November 2013 were retrospectively *** patients were divided into two groups according to the presence of bacteremia:The bacteremia group and the non-bacteremia *** abnormality on contrast-enhanced CT were categorized into 5 renal and 4 extrarenal CT findings and compared between the two groups using the χ~2 test and multivariate logistic ***:Among the 128 patients,34 patients(26.6%)were classified into the bacteremia group and 94 patients(73.4%)into the non-bacteremia *** was no statistically significant difference in gender between the two groups(P = 0.09),but the age of thepatients in the bacteremia group was higher than that of the patients in the non-bacteremia group(P < 0.01).Compared to the non-bacteremia group,1 renal CT finding such as urothelial thickening and 3 extrarenal CT findings such as diffuse peritoneal thickening,cystitis and pulmonary congestion were more frequently observed in the bacteremia group with statistical *** logistic regression analysis revealed that CT findings,including urothelial thickening,diffuse peritoneal thickening,cystitis and pulmonary congestion were suggested as the predictive CT findings of bacteremic ***:On CT,urothelial thickening,diffuse peritoneal thickening,cystitis,and pulmonary congestion are more frequently observed in patients with bacteremic APN due to ***.

Seroprevalence of <i>Mycoplasma bovis</i>Infection in Dairy Cows in ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

A cross-sectional study was carried out to investigate the seroprevalence of M. bovis. A total of 606 serum samples were randomly collected from dairy cows in ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Commercial ELISA kit was used for detection of antibody to M. bovis. The results indicated that overall seroprevalence was 80.2% (486/606). There were no significant differences between regions or age categories (P > 0.05). Degree of infection to M. bovis commonly distributed at positive degree 1 (68.5%) and 2 (24.1%). Seroprevalence at highest positive degree 4 were found in District 9, District 12 and Thu Duc (6.7%, 6.3% and 1.6%, respectively). This study is the first report of seroprevalence of M. bovis in Vietnam. The results suggested that M. bovis was spreading among dairy cow populations although degree of positivity was low. It should be considered as a high risk pathogen to dairy cows in Vietnam.

Purpose: The mandibular condyle is usually reconstructed with costochondral graft or alloplastic materials like metal prosthesis。however, the complex defect related with facial soft tissue and condylar-ramal bone, conventional non-vascularized costochondral graft is not sufficient to restore the function and contour。For this indication, we do vascularized costochondral graft with serratus anterior muscle。The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and their long-term results of reconstruction of mandibular ramal-condylar defect using vascularized costochondral graft with serratus anterior muscle。Methods: Since 1999, total 16 cases of mandibular ramal-condylar defect were reconstructed using vascularized costochondral graft with serratus anterior muscle。Flap viability, TMJ function, graft resorption rate, restoration of soft tissue contour, donor site morbidity were evaluated as the clinical outcomes and efficacy of this flap。Results- The average mouth opening was distinctly improved at inter-incisal distance after the follow-up of 6 months period postoperatively, nevertheless, lateral jaw movement was limited at the affected side and deviated to that side in the jaw opening。Only 4 cases became false ankylosed after operation。For correction of this, we did the Gap arthorplasty to improve the opening mouth。Good cosmetics and viability were found。Ramal height decrease was found not to be appeared altogether with absence of donor sit morbidity。Conclusions- On the basis of these promising results, free vascularized costochondral grafts with serratus anterior muscle may be the more attractive method for the reconstruction of mandibular ramal and condylar defect。

The functional recovery of peripheral nerve injury(PNI)is unsatisfactory,whereas diabetes mellitus(DM)and its related complications further attenuate the restoration of diabetic PNI(DPNI).Adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs)are promising candidates for treatment of DPNI due to their abundant source,excellent differentiation and paracrine *** results showed that ADSCs remarkably enhanced the proliferation and migration of Schwann cells and endothelial cells,and tube ***,ADSCs could regulate Nrf2/ho-1,NF-κB and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathways,showing multiple functions in reducing oxidative stress and inflammation,and regulating cell metabolism,growth,survival,proliferation,angiogenesis,differentiation of Schwann cell and myelin *** current study,novel graphene foam(GF)/hydrogel-based scaffold was developed to deliver ADSCs for treatment of ***/hydrogel scaffold exhibited excellent mechanical strength,suitable porous network,superior electrical conductivity,and good *** vitro results revealed that GF/hydrogel scaffold could obviously accelerate proliferation of Schwann ***,in vivo experiments demonstrated that ADSCs-loaded GF/hydrogel scaffold significantly promoted the recovery of DPNI and inhibited the atrophy of targeted muscles,thus providing a novel and attractive therapeutic approach for DPNI patients.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potency of EGFR pathway inhibition achieved by combining anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody and tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which target extracellular and intracellular, respectively, in oral squamous cell carcinoma。Methods: HSC-3 and KB cells, originated from human oral SCC, were cultured with cetuximab (C, 0-4001.1 g/ml), genistein (G, 0-801.1 M) and their combination (C0+G0, C25+G5, C50+G10, C100+G20, C200+G40and C400+G80)。Sulforhodamine B (SRB) cell proliferation assay was used to determine the anti-cancer effects。Protein expression of EGFR, p-EGFR, p-MAPK and p-Akt were evaluated by Western blot。After treatment with cetuximab and genistein, apoptosis indices were calculated in the both cells。The in vivo effects of cetuximab and genistein on the growth of human tumor xenografts in nude mice were examined。Results: After 48 hours of treatment with cetuximab, genistein and their combination, both HSC-3 cells and KB cells showed a dose-dependent decrease in cell proliferation and the statistically changes from 2001.1 g/ml of cetuximab and 401.1 M of genistein。Conclusion: This approach suggests that combined therapy of anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody and tyrosine kinase inhibitor can augment the potency of EGFR signaling inhibition。

CD （Cryptocarya densiflora） Blume has traditionally been used as an herbal medicine. In this study, the effects of CDEE （CD ethanol extract） on inflammation were investigated in LPS （lipopolysaccharide）-stimulated mouse RAW264.7 macrophages. We investigated the effects of CDEE on the production of NO, PGE2 interleukin （IL）-6, IL-1β, and tumor necrosis factor （TNF）-α in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. We measured the mRNA or protein expression of the pro-inflammatory mediators induced by CDEE in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. We explored the expression of Nrf-2, heme oxygenase （ho）-I and NADPH-quinone oxidoreductase （NQO）-I to elucidate the antioxidative mechanisms. CDEE significantly inhibited the production of NO, PGE2, IL-6, IL-1β and TNF-α in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. CDEE suppressed the mRNA or protein expression of iNOS, COX-2, and the MAPKs with a reduction in the translocation of NF-κB in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. In addition, CDEE significantly increased the expression of ho-I and NQO-1 with an increase in the translocation of Nrf-2 into the nucleus. These results indicate that CDEE inhibits the LPS-induced inflammatory and oxidative responses via suppression of NF-κB activation and the enhancement of Nrf2 activation. We suggest that CDEE may be therapeutic for treating inflammatory diseases.

基于高频的中压(MV)逆变器被用于可再生能源电力传输。然而,由于高频链路电子变压器中较高的绕组间寄生电容会导致共模噪声电流的增加,从而使得电能质量受到影响。这种快速电压瞬态响应会导致谐波失真和变压器过热,从而导致电源故障或许多其他电气危险。本文介绍了釆用传统和改进的环形变压器设计的隔离电源的比较研究。设计了半桥高频(10kHz)中压直流一交流逆变器和电源;建造了一个680W的太阳能组件可再生系统。同时使用Matlab-FFT分析的FEM仿真来确定磁芯通量分布并计算总谐波失真(THD)。还用GWInstekLCR仪表和FlukeVT04A分别测量了所有四个变压器原型中的绕组间电容和温度。环形铁氧体磁芯变压器的改进设计提供了更高的耐温性,从而无需使用任何冷却剂或外部电路,同时将寄生电容降低了87%。为确认该方法的有效性,我们进行了实验以及绕组间电容的数学推导。
