This work aims to implement expert and collaborative group recommendation services through an analysis of expertise and network relations NTIS. First of all, expertise database has been constructed by extracting keywords after indexing national R＆D information in Korea （human resources, project and outcome） and applying expertise calculation algorithm. In consideration of the characteristics of national R＆D information, weight values have been selected. Then, expertise points were calculated by applying weighted values. In addition, joint research and collaborative relations were implemented in a knowledge map format through network analysis using national R＆D information.

We report a patient with severe ataxia due to Dandy-Walker malformation, who showed functional recovery over 10 months corresponding to a change in a cerebellar peduncle lesion. A 20-month-old female patient who was diagnosed with Dandy-Walker syndrome and six age- and sex-matched healthy control subjects were enrolled. The superior cerebellar peduncle, the middle cerebellar peduncle, and the inferior cerebellar peduncle were evaluated using fractional anisotropy and the apparent diffusion coefficient. The patients＇ functional ambulation category was 0 at the initial visit, but improved to 2 at the follow-up evaluation, and Berg＇s balance scale score also improved from 0 to 7. Initial diffusion tensor tractography revealed that the inferior cerebellar peduncle was not detected, that the fractional anisotropy of the superior cerebellar peduncle and middle cerebellar peduncle decreased by two standard deviations below, and that the apparent diffusion coefficient increased by two standard deviations over normal control values. However, on follow-up diffusion tensor tractography, both inferior cerebellar peduncles could be detected, and the fractional anisotropy of superior cerebellar peduncle increased to within two standard deviations of normal controls. The functional improvement in this patient appeared to correspond to changes in these cerebellar peduncles. We believe that evaluating cerebellar peduncles using diffusion tensor imaging is useful in cases when a cerebellar peduncle lesion is suspected.

To determine the gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) occurrence rate and related factors, we evaluated the follow-up results of patients confirmed to have gastric dysplasia after endoscopic resection (ER). METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed the medical records, endoscopic examination records, endoscopic procedure records, and histological records of 667 cases from 641 patients who were followed-up for at least 12 mo, from among 1273 patients who were conformed to have gastric dysplasia after Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of gastric mucosal lesions between January 2007 and August 2013 at the Chungnam National University Hospital. RESULTSThe mean follow-up period was 33.8 mo, and the median follow-up period was 29 mo (range: 12-87). During the follow-up period, the occurrence of metachronous GAC was 4.0% (27/667). The mean and median interval periods between the occurrence of metachronous GAC and endoscopic treatment of gastric dysplasia were 36.3 and 34 mo, respectively (range: 16-71). The factors related to metachronous GAC occurrence after ER for gastric dysplasia were male sex (5.3% vs 1.0%), open-type atrophic gastritis (9.5% vs 3.4%), intestinal metaplasia (6.8% vs 2.4%), and high-grade dysplasia (HGD; 8.4% vs 3.2%). Among them, male sex [OR: 5.05 (1.18-21.68), P = 0.029], intestinal metaplasia [OR: 2.78 (1.24-6.23), P = 0.013], and HGD [OR: 2.70 (1.16-6.26), P = 0.021] were independent related factors in multivariate analysis. Furthermore, 24 of 27 GAC cases (88.9%) occurred at sites other than the previous resection sites, and 3 (11.1%) occurred at the same site as the previous resection site. CONCLUSIONMale sex, intestinal metaplasia, and HGD were significantly related to the occurrence of metachronous GAC after ER of gastric dysplasia, and most GACs occurred at sites other than the previous resection sites.

A 65-year-old woman was presented with acute ab- dominal pain. The initial heart rate was 170 beats/min and the ECG showed supraventricular tachycardia （Figure IA）. After intra-venous adenosine administered, it recovered to sinus rhythm and the follow-up ECG showed WPW pattern （Figure 1B）. The echocardiography revealed mitral valve prolapse of mid portion of anteromedial valve leaflet （A2） with severe mitral regurgitation （MR）（Figure 2）.

An 80-year-old woman visited emergency room because of resting chest pain for one hour. She had history of hypertension for 10 years. The blood pressure was 80/50 mmHg and the pulse rate was 51 beats/min. The electrocardiogram demonstrated Junctional bradycardia and ST elevation in lead Ⅱ, Ⅲ and aVF. Chest X-ray indicated cardiomegaly （Figure 1A）. Coronary angiography revealed near total occlusion of proximal right coronary artery （RCA）. She underwent percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） for the RCA lesion successfully. Echocardiography showed hypokinesia of RCA territory （Figure 2A）.

In this case, the prestressing tendons placed in the containment dome should be axisymmetrically approximated. AIM： To investigate the effect of Garden/a fasm/noides （GJ） on cerulein-induced acute pancreatitis （AP） in mice. METHODS： C57BL/6 mice weighing 18-20 g were divided into three groups. （1） Normal salinetreated group, （2） treatment with GJ at a dose of 0.1 g/kg, （3） treatment with GJ at a dose of 1 g/kg. GJ was administered orally （n = 6 per group） for 1 wk. Three hours later, the mice were given anintraperitoneal injection of cerulein （50 μg/kg）, a stable cholecystokinin （CCK） analogue, every hour for a total of 6h as described previously. The mice were sacrificed at 6 h after completion of cerulein injections. Blood samples were obtained to determine serum amylase, lipase and cytokine levels. The pancreas was rapidly removed for morphologic examination and scoring. A portion of pancreas was stored at -70℃ and prepared for the measurement of tissue myeloperoxidase （MPO） activity, an indicator of neutrophil sequestration, and for reverse-transcriptase PCR （RT-PCR） and real-time PCR measurements. RESULTS： Treatment with G.1 decreased significantly the severity of pancreatitis and pancreatitis-associated lung injury. Treatment with G.1 attenuated the severity of AP compared with saline-treated mice, as shown by reduction in pancreatic edema, neutrophil infiltration, serum amylase and lipase levels, serum cytokine levels, and mRNA expression of multiple inflammatory mediators. CONCLUSION： These results suggest that GJ attenuated the severity of AP as well as pancreatitisassociated lung injury.

Eosinophilic gastroenteritis presenting as small bowel obstruction: A case report and review of the literature

Eosinophilic gastroenteritis is a rare disease of unknown etiology. It is characterized by eosinophilic infiltration of the bowel wall to a variable depth and symptoms associated with gastrointestinal tract. Recently, the authors experienced a case of eosinophilic gastroenteritis presenting as small bowel obstruction. A 51-year old woman was admitted to our hospital complaining of abdominal pain and vomiting. Physical examination revealed a distended abdomen with diffuse tenderness. Complete blood count showed mild leukocytosis without eosinophilia. Computed tomography confirmed a dilatation of the small intestine with ascites. An emergency laparotomy was performed for a diagnosis of peritonitis due to intestinal obstruction. Segmental resection of the ileum and end to end anastomosis were performed. Histologically, there was a dense infiltration of eosinophils throughout the entire thickness of ileal wall and eosinophilic enteritis was diagnosed. The patient recovered well, and was free from gastrointestinal symptoms at the time when we reported her disease.
