In this paper, we study the performance of a distributed power adjustment algorithm for shared and split spectrum allocation setups. The theoretical analysis reveals that the convergence of the power control algorithm is guaranteed under different spectrum allocation schemes and the convergence rate is exponential. The performance analysis is also carried out via simulations which demonstrate the algorithm fairness under Jain＇s and Atkinkons＇ fairness indices.

Radial Basis Function(RBF)kernels are key functional forms for advanced solutions of higher-order partial differential equations(PDEs).In the present study,a hybrid kernel was developed for meshless solutions of PDEs widely seen in several engineering *** kernel,Power-Generalized Multiquadric-Power-GMQ,was built up by vanishing the dependence of e,which is significant since its selection induces severe problems regarding numerical instabilities and convergence *** drawback of e-dependency is that the optimal e value does not exist in *** present the Power-GMQ kernel which combines the advantages of Radial Power and Generalized Multiquadric RBFs in a generic ***-GMQ RBF was tested in higher-order PDEs with particular boundary conditions and different ***-Finite Difference(RBF-FD)discretization was also implemented to investigate the characteristics of the proposed *** results revealed that our proposed kernel makes similar or better estimations as against to the Gaussian and Multiquadric kernels with a mild increase in computational ***-QR method may achieve better accuracy in some cases with considerably higher computational *** using Power-GMQ RBF,the dependency of solution on e was also substantially relaxed and consistent error behavior were obtained regardless of the selected e accompanied.

Neuroendocrine neoplasms are the most common epithelial tumors among appendix tumors. Appendix tumors that are completely or partially composed of neuroendocrine cells are divided into two categories: Classic carcinoid tumors and goblet cell carcinoid tumors(GCCT). They are known to progress more aggressively than classic(neuro) endocrine tumors. In this study, three cases with acute appendicitis symptoms are presented, including their clinical and histopathological findings. Microscopic examination detected GCCT in two cases and mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma in one case, in addition to acute appendicitis.

To performance susceptibility testing of antifungal agents Due to the increasing number of resistant strains, susceptibility testing of antifungal agents is gaining importance Methods We compared the results of standard macrotube dilution reference method with two different microdilution methods, as well as the disc diffusion method in order to test the susceptibility of 150 Candida strains to fluconazole Results Overall correlation between microdilution and macrodilution methods was 86% It was 91% between the Minimal Inhibitory Concentrations obtained from macrodilution and disc diffusion zone diameters Conclusion The disc diffusion test was evaluated as a low-cost, reproducible, and efficient way of assessing the in vitro susceptibility of Candida strains to fluconazole

Aim: Canines are the second most impacted teeth in jaws after third molars. Perforation of the anatomic structures, such as maxillary sinus and nasal fossa, are some of the complications of the surgery. In this case, bilateral maxillary impacted canines’ extraction, with the guidance of CBCT is done without any complication. Case: A 24-year-old female patient was referred to Istanbul University, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Left and right deciduous canines and swelling at the right maxillary canine’s labial area were seen during the intraoral examination. Bilateral impacted canines were determined after evaluating the present CBCT images of the patient and orthodontic treatment was advised to the patient. Due to the refusal of orthodontic treament, extractions of the impacted teeth were decided. After the evaluation of CBCT images, the maxillary right canine was determined at the labial site while the maxillary left canine was determined at the palatinale site. Results: Right maxillary canine was lying between the right first incisor and right first molar and It was extracted with mucoperiosteal vestibule flap procedure. For the extraction, the tooth was divided into two pieces from the enamel-cement junction. Left maxillary canine was lying between the left first incisor and left first molar and It was extracted with mucoperiosteal palatinale flap procedure. Flap was stitched primarly with 3/0 silk sutures. Palatinal plaque, which was prepared before the surgery, was applied. Antibiotic, analgesic and moutwash were prescribed to the patient. 1 week following the surgery, stitches were removed and the healing was optimal. Conclusion: Impacted canines are a common clinic condition which requires a multi-discipliner approach. CBCT can increase the success of the treatment by preventing possible complications with determining the proximity of the anatomical structures and the localization of the impacted teeth.
