Moringa oleifera is well known as a highly nutritious plant and a water purifier in fish *** fish has many impressive qualities making them very suitable for ***,this study aimed to evaluate the effect of supplementation of Moringa oleifera aqueous extract(MOAE)at varying concentrations(0,100,200,and 400 mg/kg diet for 90 days)on growth performance,hematological,and some biochemical parameters of Nile ***,histological changes and immunohistochemical expression of caspase 3 in gills and livers were *** enhancements(Py function tests and non-significant changes in lipid profile were *** the other hand,fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg diet revealed disturbance in the corresponding *** histological degenerative changes were detected in the gills and liver of fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg *** comparison,fish fed 200 mg MOAE/kg diet showed the best histo-architectures of these organs compared with other *** immune expressions of caspase 3 were determined where gills and liver of fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg diet revealed extensive number of positive caspase 3 cells indicating severe apoptotic ***,a dietary MOAE at 200 mg/kg diet is recommended to improve the growth performance,hematological parameters,liver and kidney functions in Nile ***,caution must be considered when using MOAE at a concentration over 200 mg/kg diet.

Solute transport and geochemical modeling of the coastal quaternary aquifer, Delta Dahab Basin, South Sinai, Egypt

The wadi dahab delta is in a dry, arid coastal zone within Egypt’s south Sinai Peninsula’s eastern portion. The primary water source is the Quaternary coastal alluvial aquifer. The groundwater salinity varies from 890to 8213 mg/L, with a mean value of 3417 mg/L. The dissolved major ions have been used to calculate the seawater mixing index(SWMI) using a linear equation that discriminates the groundwater mostly affected by water–rock interaction(SWMI 1>) and other samples mixed with Seawater(SWMI y chosen groundwater samples ranges from-0.645‰ to +5.212‰ for δ^(18)O and from-9.582‰ to + 22.778‰ for δ^(2)H, where the seawater represented by a Red Sea water sample(δ^(18)O + 1.64‰-δ^(2)H + 9.80‰) and reject brine water are considerably enriched the isotopic groundwater values. The geochemical NETPATH model constrained by the dissolved significant ions, isotopes, and the rock aquifer forming minerals as phases indicate the mixing percent with the seawater ranges from 9% to 97% of seawater from 91% to 3% of original recharge water. According to the SEAWAT 3-D flow models, seawater has penetrated the Northeastern Dahab delta aquifer, with the intrusion zone extending1500 m inland. The salt dissolution, upwelling of saline water, recharge from the upstream mountain block, and seawater encroachment are the primary aspects contributing to the deterioration of groundwater quality. These findings may have significance for effective groundwater withdrawal management in arid locations worldwide with similar hydrogeological systems.

Effect of Tilmicosin on Fetal Developments in Pregnant Female Albino Rats

The effect of tilmicosin on fetal development in pregnant female rats was investigated in this study. Forty pregnant female rats were divided into four groups (each of 10 female rats). Rats in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd groups were received tilmicosin at a dose of 20, 100, 200 mg/kg·b·wt/day orally from the 6th to 15th day of gestation respectively, while the 4th group received 0.5 ml distilled water orally for the same period of gestation and was used as control group. All the pregnant female rats were sacrificed on the 20th day of gestation and their fetuses were subjected to morphological, visceral and skeletal examinations. Tilmicosin at a dose 100, 200 mg/kg·b·wt significantly decreased the number of viable fetuses;the number of resorbed fetuses was increased, and induced retardation in growth of viable fetuses;some skeletal and visceral defects in these fetuses were observed and these effects were dose dependant. It could be concluded that tilmicosin caused some abnormalities and fetal defects, so it is recommended to avoid using pregnancy.

Clinical profile,etiology,management and outcome of empyema thoracis associated with COVID-19 infection:A systematic review of published case reports

Objective:To explore the clinical features,diagnosis,etiology,treatment,and outcomes of COVID-19 related ***:Using PRISMA statement,a systematic search of relevant case reports published between December 2019 and April 2023 was performed through seven *** collected data included demographics,clinical manifestations,diagnostic findings,treatment,and ***:Thirty-six case reports were identified with 43 cases of *** included cases had a median age of 55 years(range:12-78 years)and 79.1%(34/43)were *** majority of cases presented during hospitalization for management of acute COVID-19 infection(29/43,67.4%)and Charlson comorbidity indexy isolated microorganism from the pleural fluid(9/43,20.9%)and 16.3%of the cases(7/43)had polymicrobial *** drainage was performed in all cases while surgery was indicated in 24 cases(55.8%).The most common complication of COVID-19-related empyema was broncho-pleural fistula(2/43,4.7%).The mortality rate was 23.3%(10/43).Sepsis and/or multi-organ failure were the most commonly reported causes of *** univariate analysis,no statistically significant risk factor for mortality was ***:COVID-19-associated empyema has a variety of predisposing factors,time of presentation,clinical features,and causative *** or minimally invasive surgical procedures are performed more frequently than isolated chest *** in COVID-19 patients worsens their prognosis and can lead to serious complications.

Diagnosing a baby’s feelings poses a challenge for both doctors and parents because babies cannot explain their feelings through expression or *** the emotions of babies and their associated expressions during different sensations such as hunger,pain,etc.,is a complicated *** infancy,all communication and feelings are propagated through cryspeech,which is a natural *** clinical methods can be used to diagnose a baby’s diseases,but nonclinical methods of diagnosing a baby’s feelings are *** such,in this study,we aimed to identify babies’feelings and emotions through their cry using a nonclinical *** in the cry sound can be identified using our method and used to assess the baby’s *** considered the frequency of the cries from the energy of the *** feelings represented by the infant’s cry are judged to represent certain sensations expressed by the child using the optimal frequency of the recognition of a real-world audio *** used machine learning and artificial intelligence to distinguish cry tones in real time through feature *** experimental group consisted of 50%each male and female babies,and we determined the relevancy of the results against different *** application produced real-time results after recognizing a child’s cry *** novelty of our work is that we,for the first time,successfully derived the feelings of young children through the cry-speech of the child,showing promise for end-user applications.

Cyclization of 4,5-Diamino Pyrazole Derivatives and Their Antibacterial Activities

A convenient synthesis of intermediate 4,5-diamino-3-aryl-l-phenylpyrazoles 4a--4c was reported. The different cyclization reactions were carried out with chalcone, 2-mercaptoacetic acid and p-anisialdehyde, ethyl chloroformate, glyoxal and thiourea to afford different N and S containing heterocycles. The reaction conditions were compared by conventional heating and microwave irradiation. The structures of the cyclization products were de- termined by analytical and spectroscopic data. All the synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial activities in vitro.

AIM: To fi nd the current seroepidemiology of hepatitis A virus (HAV) in ***: A total of 2851 Kuwaitis applying for new jobs were ***: HAV-positive cases were 28.8%; 59% were males and 41% were females. The highest prevalence was in the Ahmadi area. High prevalence was among the group of non-educated rather than educated parents. This is the fi rst study in Kuwait demonstrating the shifting epidemiology of ***: This study reflects the need of the Kuwaiti population for an HAV vaccine.
