Metabolic syndrome(Mes)is a major health problem associated with the high prevalence of obesity,diabetes,hypertension and *** serrata resin(Bs)is an old remedy reputed by its rich antioxidant *** present research aimed to assess the impact of microencapsulated Bs if given in combination with probiotic bacteria(BAC)(Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus)which had anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities to control the metabolic disorders associated with *** extract of Bs was prepared,total phenolic,total antioxidants and HPLC were *** extract was microencapsulated by spray drier and the microcapsules were *** were suspended in MRs,cultivated and microencapsulated by freeze *** were randomly assigned to 5 groups(8/gp).The 1st group was negative control receiving basic diet(C),the 2nd group was positive control fed on HFD,the 3rd group was fed on HFD+Bs(400 mg/kg),the 4th group was fed on HFD+BAC(1 ml containing 1011 CFU),the 5th group was fed on HFD+Bs+*** 8 weeks animals were sacrificed,the collected serum was analyzed for different biochemical *** body organs and body fat weights were estimated and histopathological and immunohistochemical examinations were *** showed the ability of Bs in controlling most of the parameters related to Mes and improvement of histopathology findings in *** and BAC acted in synergy in this *** conclusion,microencapsulated Bs or its combination with Probiotic bacteria may control Mes and both acted as symbiotic in augmenting the improvement of Mes intact model.

Phase Characterizations and Photocatalytic Applications of CuO-K_2Mo_4O_(13) Composites

A series of CuO-K2Mo4013 composite materials have been prepared by mixing appropriates quantities, in solid state, of CuO and pure K2Mo4013 according to the molar ratios CuO/K2Mo4013 = 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, and 1. The prepared samples were characterized using techniques such as X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）, differential thermal analysis （DTA）, nitrogen adsorption measurements, and UV spectroscopy. According to XRD results, the phase composition of the CuO-KeMo4013 systems has significantly changed by increasing the molar ratio CuO/ K2Mo4013 where new phases, identified as K2Mo3Olo and CuMoO4, have been detected. The formation of these new phases has been tracked through FT-IR and DTA measurements. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements also reveal a change in the pore type of the studied materials due to the presence of these new phases. The photocatalytic activities of K2M04OI3 and CuO-K2Mo4013 composites were studied by means of monitoring the ability of these materials to the degradation, under UV irradiation, of methyl red in liquid media. It was found that the phase composition of the used samples significantly controls their photocatalytic activities.

Atorvastatin-induced severe gastric ulceration: A case report

A 41-year-old man presented with severe gastric ulceration 3 mo after beginning treatment with atorvastatin 20 mg once daily for hypercholesterolemia. The patient was not taking any ulcerogenic drugs and had no evidence of Helicobacter pylori infection. Proton pump inhibitor therapy was initiated and atorvastatin was replaced by simvastatin with complete resolution of gastrointestinal symptoms. To our knowledge, this is the first report of atorvastatin-induced gastric ulceration,which should be looked for in patients who develop abdominal pain while on this drug.

synthesizing Distributed Protocol specifications from a UML state Machine Modeled service specification

The object-oriented paradigm is widely applied in designing and implementing communication systems. Unified Modeling Language （UML） is a standard language used to model the design of object-oriented systems. A protocol state machine is a UML adopted diagram that is widely used in designing communication protocols. It has two key attractive advantages over traditional finite state machines： modeling concurrency and modeling nested hierarchical states. In a distributed communication system, each entity of the system has its own protocol that defines when and how the entity exchanges messages with other communicating entities in the system. The order of the exchanged messages must conform to the overall service specifications of the system. In object-oriented systems, both the service and the protocol specifications are modeled in UML protocol state machines. Protocol specification synthesis methods have to be applied to automatically derive the protocol specification from the service specification. Otherwise, a time-consuming process of design, analysis, and error detection and correction has to be applied iteratively until the design of the protocol becomes error-free and consistent with the service specification. several synthesis methods are proposed in the literature for models other than UML protocol state machines, and therefore, because of the unique features of the protocol state machines, these methods are inapplicable to services modeled in UML protocol state machines. In this paper, we propose a synthesis method that automatically synthesizes the protocol specification of distributed protocol entities from the service specification, given that both types of specifications are modeled in UML protocol state machines. Our method is based on the latest UML version （UML2.3）, and it is proven to synthesize protocol specifications that are syntactically and semantically correct. The main objective of this study is to identify the influence of project manager’s competencies on the success of development projects in *** project manager is responsible for the success of projects and deliver projects on time,within the budget,within the quality required,and satisfy both customers and *** research is a study of the effect of the project manager’s competencies on the success of development projects in *** were collected from 112 project managers working on 30 international organizations in *** were collected through the questionnaire distributed to the organizations via the organization’s internal *** collected from organizations were analyzed by using the software sPss *** verifying the normality,validity,and reliability of the questionnaire questions,multiple regressions were used to test the hypothesis of the *** results showed that the relationship between the competencies of project managers studied in this research（skills,knowledge and personal attitude）was very *** result showed that means of the participants’ perception about the implementation degree of project managers’ competencies items are between（3.07）and（3.79）with standard deviation ranges between（0.687）and（0.755）.This result indicates that there was an agreement on the high importance of project managers’ *** results showed that skills have a high effect on project managers’ competencies according to the overall *** result showed that means of the participants’ perception about the implementation degree of project success factors（Quality,Cost,Time,Customer satisfaction,and stakeholder satisfaction）were between（2.64）and（3.68）with standard deviation ranges between（0.694）and（0.816）.This result indicates that there was an agreement on the high importance of development projects *** result showed that quality has a high effect on development projects success according to the overall re

The wadi dahab delta is in a dry, arid coastal zone within Egypt’s south sinai Peninsula’s eastern portion. The primary water source is the Quaternary coastal alluvial aquifer. The groundwater salinity varies from 890to 8213 mg/L, with a mean value of 3417 mg/L. The dissolved major ions have been used to calculate the seawater mixing index(sWMI) using a linear equation that discriminates the groundwater mostly affected by water–rock interaction(sWMI 1>) and other samples mixed with seawater(sWMI sotopic composition of groundwater for specifically chosen groundwater samples ranges from-0.645‰ to +5.212‰ for δ^(18)O and from-9.582‰ to + 22.778‰ for δ^(2)H, where the seawater represented by a Red sea water sample(δ^(18)O + 1.64‰-δ^(2)H + 9.80‰) and reject brine water are considerably enriched the isotopic groundwater values. The geochemical NETPATH model constrained by the dissolved significant ions, isotopes, and the rock aquifer forming minerals as phases indicate the mixing percent with the seawater ranges from 9% to 97% of seawater from 91% to 3% of original recharge water. According to the sEAWAT 3-D flow models, seawater has penetrated the Northeastern Dahab delta aquifer, with the intrusion zone extending1500 m inland. The salt dissolution, upwelling of saline water, recharge from the upstream mountain block, and seawater encroachment are the primary aspects contributing to the deterioration of groundwater quality. These findings may have significance for effective groundwater withdrawal management in arid locations worldwide with similar hydrogeological systems.

Cyclization of 4,5-Diamino Pyrazole Derivatives and Their Antibacterial Activities

A convenient synthesis of intermediate 4,5-diamino-3-aryl-l-phenylpyrazoles 4a--4c was reported. The different cyclization reactions were carried out with chalcone, 2-mercaptoacetic acid and p-anisialdehyde, ethyl chloroformate, glyoxal and thiourea to afford different N and s containing heterocycles. The reaction conditions were compared by conventional heating and microwave irradiation. The structures of the cyclization products were de- termined by analytical and spectroscopic data. All the synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial activities in vitro.
