The main aims of the current study are to determine the morphological features of the periglacial landforms(non-sorted step,mud circle,stony earth circle,thufur,and congeliturbation)located on the Ilgaz Mountains,examine the physicochemical and mineralogical properties with pedological processes of the soils,and assess of the effects of climatic conditions controlling the development of *** Ilgaz Mountains(2587 m a.s.l.),located in the Western Black Sea Region,within the Anatolian Mountains,are important in terms of periglacial landforms(mud circles,stony earth circles,thufurs,non-sorted steps,non-sorted stripes,congeliturbation deposits,and block currents).The descriptive statistics of 123 periglacial landforms measured by fieldworks were *** distribution of freezing and thawing in the Ilgaz Mountains throughout the year was evaluated,and it was found that freezing takes place between December and March,freezing-thawing takes place in April,May,October and November,and thawing takes place between June and *** to soil properties,organic matter content changes from 1.88%to 12.72%in non-sorted step soils,while it is between 2.03%and 12.24%in stony earth circle *** organic matter is observed to be close to congeliturbation deposits at lower ratios compared to non-sorted steps,stony earth circles and mud *** soil reactions on stony earth circles and non-sorted steps vary between slightly acidic and slightly *** the other hand,soil samples taken from the mud circles are different from those taken from the non-sorted steps and stony earth *** soil reaction is acidic,and ph changes between 4.86 and *** lime content also varies between 2.81%and 32.08%,with an average of 12.02%.The texture properties of soils are dominantly loam and clay loam,as in the non-sorted steps,stony earth circles,and mud *** their mineralogical properties,the XRD study was carried out to determine the primer mineral

In this paper,new four fifth-order fractional nonlinear equations are derived and *** frac-tional terms are defined in the conformable sense and these equations are then solved using two effective methods,namely,the sub-equation and the generalized Kudryashov *** methods were tested on the proposed models and succeeded in finding new solutions with different values of parameters.A graphical representation of some results is provided and proves the efficiency and applicability of the proposed methods for providing solutions with known physical *** methods are good candi-dates for solving other similar problems in the future.

The Kortewegde Vries(KdV)equation represents the propagation of long waves in dispersive media,whereas the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger(CNLS)equation depicts the dynamics of narrow-bandwidth wave packets consisting of short dispersive waves.A model that couples these two equations seems in-triguing for simulating the interaction of long and short waves,which is important in many domains of applied sciences and engineering,and such a system has been investigated in recent *** work uses a modified Sardar sub-equation procedure to secure the soliton-type solutions of the generalized cubic nonlinear Schrödinger-Korteweg-de Vries system of *** various selections of arbitrary parameters in these solutions,the dynamic properties of some acquired solutions are represented graph-ically and *** particular,the dynamics of the bright solitons,dark solitons,mixed bright-dark solitons,W-shaped solitons,M-shaped solitons,periodic waves,and other soliton-type *** re-sults demonstrated that the proposed technique is highly efficient and effective for the aforementioned problems,as well as other nonlinear problems that may arise in the fields of mathematical physics and engineering.

Analytical and approximate solutions of(2+1)-dimensional time-fractional Burgers-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation

In this paper,we applied the sub-equation method to obtain a new exact solution set for the extended version of the time-fractional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation,namely Burgers-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation(Burgers-K-P)that arises in shallow water ***,using the residual power series method(RPSM),approximate solutions of the equation were obtained with the help of the Mathematica symbolic computation *** also presented a few graphical illustrations for some *** fractional derivatives were considered in the conformable *** of the obtained solutions were replaced back in the governing equation to check and ensure the reliability of the *** numerical outcomes confirmed that both methods are simple,robust and effective to achieve exact and approximate solutions of nonlinear fractional differential equations.

Multiple bifurcations in an early brain tumor model with piecewise constant arguments

In this paper, a differential equation with piecewise constant arguments modeling an early brain tumor growth is considered. The discretization process in the interval t ∈ [n, n＋1） leads to two-dimensional discrete dynamical system. By using the Schur-Cohn criterion, stability conditions of the positive equilibrium point of the system are obtained. Choosing appropriate bifurcation parameter, the existence of Neimark-Sacker and flip bifurcations is verified. In addition, the direction and stability of the Neimark-Sacker and flip bifurcations are determined by using the normal form and center manifold theory. Finally, the Lyapunov exponents are numerically computed to characterize the complexity of the dynamical behaviors of the system.

SYNThESIS,ChARACTERIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES OF 4-[(4-hYDROXYBENZYLIDENE)AMINO]PhENOL AND ITS POLYMER

The oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions of 4-[（4-hydroxybenzylidene） amino] phenol （4-hBAP） were studied with h2O2, air oxygen and NaOCl in an aqueous alkaline medium between 50 and 90℃. The structures of the obtained monomer and polymer were confirmed by FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1h- and 13C-NMR and elemental analysis. The characterization was made by TG-DTA, size exclusion chromatography （SEC） and solubility tests. At the optimum reaction conditions, the yield of poly[4-（4-hydroxybenzylidene amino） phenol] （P-4-hBAP） was found to be 48.3% （for h2O2 oxidant）, 80.5% （for air O2 oxidant） and 86.4% （for NaOCl oxidant）. According to the SEC analysis, the number-average molecular weight （Mn）, weight-average molecular weight （Mw） and polydispersity index （PDI） values of P-4-hBAP was found to be 8950, 10970 g tool^-1 and 1.225, respectively, using h202; and l l610, 15190 g tool^-1 and 1.308 respectively, using air 02 and 7900, 9610 g mol^-1 and 1.216, respectively, using NaOC1. According to TG-DTA analyses, P-4-hBAP was more stable than 4-hBAP against thermal decomposition. The weight loss of P-4-hBAP was found to be 49.27% at 1000℃. The highest occupied molecular orbital （hOMO） and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital （LUMO） values calculated from electrochemical measurement. Electrochemical energy gaps （Eg＇） of 4-hBAP and P-4-hBAP were found to be -5.46, -5.28; -2.26, -2.67; 3.20 and 2.61 eV, respectively. According to UV-Vis measurements, optical band gap （Eg） of 4-hBAP and P-4-hBAP were found to be 3.34 and 3.01 eV, respectively. Also, antimicrobial activities of 4-hBAP and P-4-hBAP were examined against selected some bacteria. The electrical conductivity of the polymer was measured after doping with iodine.

Complex dynamics of COVID-19 mathematical model on Erdos-Rényi network

New Wave Solutions of Time-Fractional Coupled Boussinesq–Whitham–Broer–Kaup Equation as A Model of Water Waves

The main purpose of this paper is to obtain the wave solutions of conformable time fractional Boussinesq–Whitham–Broer–Kaup equation arising as a model of shallow water waves. For this aim, the authors employed auxiliary equation method which is based on a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By using conformable wave transform and chain rule, a nonlinear fractional partial differential equation is converted to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. This is a significant impact because neither Caputo definition nor Riemann–Liouville definition satisfies the chain rule. While the exact solutions of the fractional partial derivatives cannot be obtained due to the existing drawbacks of Caputo or Riemann–Liouville definitions, the reliable solutions can be achieved for the equations defined by conformable fractional derivatives.

Soil characterization of Tinaztepe region(Izmir/Turkey) using surface wave methods and nakamura(hVSR) technique

To determine the shear wave velocity structure and predominant period features of Tmaztepe in izmir, Turkey, where new building sites have been planned, active-passive surface wave methods and single-station microtremor measurements are used, as well as surface acquisition techniques, including the multichannel analysis of surface waves （MASW）, refraction microtremor （ReMi）, and the spatial autocorrelation method （SPAC）, to pinpoint shallow and deep shear wave velocity. For engineering bedrock （V 〉 760 m/s） conditions at a depth of 30 m, an average seismic shear wave velocity in the upper 30 m of soil （AVs30） is not only accepted as an important parameter for defining ground behavior during earthquakes, but a primary parameter in the geotechnical analysis for areas to be classified by V30 according to the National Earthquake hazards Reduction Program （NEhRP）. It is also determined that Z1.0, which represents a depth to V = 1000 m/s, is used for ground motion prediction and changed from 0 to 54 m. The sediment-engineering bedrock structure for Tmaztepe that was obtained shows engineering bedrock no deeper than 30 m. When compared, the depth of engineering bedrock and dominant period map and geology are generally compatible.
