transition metal carbides and nitrides(MXenes)nanosheets are attractive two-dimensional(2D)materials,but they suffer from oxidation/degradation issues during storage and/or applications due to their sensitivity to water and *** the great research progress,the exact oxidation kinetics of ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x)(MXene)and their final products after oxidation are not fully ***,we systematically tracked the oxidation process of few-layer ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x) nanosheets in an aqueous solution at room temperature over several *** also studied the oxidation effects on the electrocatalytic properties of ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x) for hydrogen evolution reaction and found that the overpotential to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)increases from 0.435 to 0.877 V after three weeks of degradation,followed by improvement to stabilized values of around 0.40 V after eight *** results suggest that severely oxidized MXene could be a promising candidate for designing efficient *** to our detailed experimental characterization and theoretical calculations,unlike previous studies,black titanium oxide is formed as the final product in addition to white ti(IV)oxide and disordered carbons after the complete oxidation of ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x).this work presents significant advancements in better understanding of 2D ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x)(MXene)oxidation and enhances the prospects of this material for various applications.

Inflow and outflow permeability tests in a very soft clay under low stresses

In situ inflow and outflow permeability tests with the bat probe at sarapuíII soft clay test site are presented.A description of the bat permeability test is provided,discussing its advantages and shortcomings,especially in the case of very soft clays under low *** pressures were monitored during probe installation and were found to be slightly lower than piezocone u2 pore pressures,consistent with the position of the *** role of filter tip saturation was investigated after the usual saturation procedure provided an unsatisfactory pore pressure response during probe *** show that the vacuum saturation procedure provides adequate response during installation and increases the reliability of the coefficient of permeability determination in early *** inflow and outflow tests yielded similar results,indicating that careful execution of the test can lead to good test repeatability regardless of the loading *** sequences of alternated inflow and outflow tests have yielded similar results,indicating that soil reconsolidation and filter clogging were negligible in the tests *** are presented concerning the relationship between index parameters and the in situ coefficient of permeability for sarapuíII clay,which plot outside the range of existing databases.

Naphthalene oxidation by different nonthermal electrical discharges at atmospheric pressure

Gaseous naphthalene has been removed by air plasma generated by pulsed corona discharges at 100°C(LsPM)and dielectric barrier discharges(DBD)up to 250℃(LPGP)in different reactors *** has been chosen as one of unbumed hydrocarbon present in exhaust gas engine during the cold start of *** comparison between the different discharge geometries has been possible using the specific input energy(sIE)as relevant parameter for pollutant removal process control considering the differences in the electrical characteristics and the differences of gas *** best naphthalene degradation is obtained in the wire-to cylinder(WtC)corona discharge and the stem-to-cylinder DBD with an energy costβrespectively of 10 and 20 J L^-*** main by-products issues of the naphthalene oxidation are CO2 and CO reaching 45%in Multi-Pin-to-Plan corona *** detected polyaromatic hydrocarbons in the gas phase(few ppm)and in the solid phase deposited in the *** introduction of water in the discharges promotes the naphthalene degradation by OH-atom,which has better oxidising power than O-atom in dry air.

野生二粒小麦籽粒含硒量的差异分析

采用氢化物．原子荧光法，对种植于黔中的来自以色列15个野生二粒小麦群体110个基因型籽粒含硒量进行检测分析。结果表明，15个群体含硒量差异极显著（P≤0．001）；110个基因型籽粒硒含量和单粒硒含量分别为0．043～0．409mgkg^-1和0．008～0．125mg seed^-1，平均值分别为0．180mgkg。和0．046mg seed^-1籽粒硒含量和单粒硒含量最低的基因型分别是Gamla群体的tZ120和***群体的tZ8，最高的基因型分别为bat—shelomo群体的tZ36和tZ34。在群体水平上硒浓度差异明显，变异系数CV为9％～74％；斯皮尔曼秩相关分析表明，籽粒硒含量分别与该群体起源地海拔、年平均降雨量、平均干旱天数呈显著负相关，与年均温、8月均温、1月均温呈显著正相关。单粒硒含量的相关分析与籽粒硒含量的相似。野生二粒小麦籽粒含硒量的差异是长期适应环境的结果，其遗传多样性将为小麦硒营养机理研究和育种利用提供材料。

Kinetic and Mechanistic study of Oxidation of Piperazines by Bromamine-t in Acidic Medium

Oxidations of piperazine, 1-methylpiperazine and 1-ethylpiperazine by bromamine-t (bat) in buffered acidic medium have been kinetically studied at 303 K. the reaction shows a first-order dependence of the rate each on [bat]0 and [piperazine]0, and an inverse fractional-order dependence on [H+]. the additions of halide ions and the reduction product of bat, p-toluenesulfonamide, have no effect on the reaction rate. the variation of ionic strength of the solvent medium has no influence on the rate. Activation parameters have been evaluated from the Arrhenius and Eyring plots. A common mechanism consistent with the kinetic data has been proposed for all piperazines. the protonation constants of substrates have been evaluated. the Hammett linear free-energy relationship has been observed for the reaction with ρ = ?0.5 indicating that the electron-donating groups enhance the reaction rate by stabilizing the transition state. An isokinetic relationship observed shows β = 368 K indicating the dominance of enthalpy factors on the reaction rate.

Background&Aims: the MDR1 gene encodes P-glycoprotein 170, an efflux transpo rter that is highly expressed in intestinal epithelial cells. the MDR1 exonic si ngle nucleotide polymorphisms(sNPs) C3435t and G2677t have been shown to correla te with activity/expression of P-glycoprotein ***: this was a case-con trol analysis of MDR1 C3435t and G2677t sNPs in a large well-characterized scot.tish white cohort (335 with ulcerative colitis [UC], 268 with Crohn’s disease[C D], and 370 healthy controls). We conducted 2-locus haplotype and detailed univ ariate and multivariate genotypicphenotypic analyses. Results: the MDR1 3435 tt genotype(34.6%vs 26.5%; P =. 04; odds ratio [OR], 1.60; 95%confidence interva l [95%CI], 1.04-2.44) and t-allelic frequencies(58.2%vs 52.8%; P =. 02; OR, 1.28; 95%CI, 1.03-1.58) were significantly higher in patients with UC compare d with *** associationwas seen with CD. the association was strongest wi th extensive UC (tt genotype: 42.4%vs 26.5%; P =. 003;OR, 2.64; 95%CI, 1.34- 4.99; and t allele: 63.9%vs 52.8%; P=. 009; OR, 1.70; 95%CI, 1.24-2.29), and this was also confirmed on multivariate analysis (P =. 007). the G2677t sNP was not associated with UC or CD. these 2 sNPs lie in linkage disequilibrium in our population (D′,. 8-.9; r2,. 7-.8). two-locus haplotypes showed both positiv e (3435t/G2677 haplotype:P =. 03; OR, 1.44) and negative (C3435/2677t haplotype: P=. 002; OR,. 35) associations with UC. Homozygotes for the haplotype 3435t/G26 77 were significantly increased in UC (P=. 017; OR, 8.88; 95%CI, 1.10-71.45). Conclusions: Allelic variations of the MDR1 gene determine disease extent as wel l as susceptibility to UC in the scot.ish population. the present data strongly implicate the C3435t sNP, although the 2-locus haplotype data underline the nee d for further detailed haplotypic studies.
