A quantitative microplasticity-based approach to rationalize the poor strengthening response of polycrystalline Mg alloys

this work aims to understand the inefficiency of nanoprecipitates to strengthen a weakly textured,polycrystalline Mg-Gd-Y-Zr *** experimental micromechanical approach consisting on micropillar compression combined with analytical electron microscopy is put in place to analyze the effect of nanoprecipitation on soft and hard basal slip and twinning in individual grains with different *** study shows that,in grains that are favorably oriented for basal slip(“soft”basal slip),aging leads to extreme localization due to the ability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,resulting overall in the softening of basal ***,in grains in which the c-axis is almost perpendicular to the compression axis,prismatic slip dominates deformation in the solid solution state and nanoprecipitation favors twinning due to the concomitant lattice solute ***,in grains oriented with their c-axis making an angle of about 5-7°with respect to the compression axis,which deform mainly by“hard”basal slip,precipitation leads to the strengthening of basal systems in the absence of obvious *** work reveals that the poor hardening response of the polycrystalline alloy is related to the capability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,in the absence of Orowan looping events,and to the associated basal slip localization.

Objective:to evaluate bepato protective and antioxidant capacity of Melochia corchorifolia （***）aerial part ***:Antioxidant activitywas evaluated by using three free radicals（Superoxide,Hydroxyl and DPPH） and hepatoprotective activity was assessed against CCl4 induced liver intoxication in ***:the extracts produced concentration dependent percentage protection in decrease of serum enzymes and percentage inhibition on free *** all extracts methanol extract showed better activity with percentage protection of SGOt（78.98%）,SGPt（79.65%）,ALP（82.48%） and total bilirubin（80.0%）levels against CCl4 liver intoxication and also methanolic extract showed better activity with IC50 values on superoxide. hydroxyl and DPPH radicals were 127μg.240μg and 179μ***:From the results obtained during the study it could be concluded that *** aerial part extracts have antioxidant and hepaloprotective *** study is necessary for isolation and characterization of bioactive molecules which are responsible for hepatoprotective and antioxidant activity.

Human Facial expressions exhibits the inner *** the inner personality is performed through questionnaires during recruitment ***,the evaluation through questionnaires performs less due to anxiety,and stress during interview and prediction of leadership quality becomes a challenging *** the above problem,temporal sequence based SENet architecture(tSSA)is proposed for accurate evaluation of personality trait for employing the correct person for leadership ***,SENet is integration with modern architectures for performance *** Proposed tSSA,face book facial images of a particular person for a period of one month and face images collect from different social environments and forms the sequential facial image database are analysed for personality trait *** a days,Facebook plays a vital role,where people express their emotions by posting images and updating their proﬁle *** tSSA method,50 Facebook temporal sequence of images of person with answered questionaries during the face image collection forms as a temporal sequence image(tSI)database for prediction of the big Five personal-ity *** order to get precise prediction,we have analysed the face images that were posted in a period of one month and validated the result with the next month face images from face *** images for predicting the personality,where asked toﬁll the Questionnaires through Google Forms increase the accuracy in *** tSSA prediction results are utilized for assessment of a person’s conscientiousness for leadership quality *** study implements Deep Learning algorithm with SENet architecture and compares with traditional *** the validation results the proposed tSSA method performs 96%of accuracy in conscientiousness prediction.

We present version 1.2.0 of DASHMM,a general library implementing hierarchical multipole methods using the asynchronous multi-tasking HPX-5 runtime *** with the previous release[10],this new version:(1)enables execution in both shared and distributed memory architectures;(2)extends DASHMM’s infrastructure to support advanced multipole methods[18];and(3)provides built-in implementations of both the Yukawa[15]potential and Helmholtz[16]potential in the low frequency *** additions have not impacted the user interface,which remains simple and extensible.

the biomass of agricultural wastes as a source of fermentable sugars for biofuels production will address the food security and environmental preservation *** wastes are rich in lignocellulosic materials which can be hydrolyzed into fermentable ***,low sugar yield and high energy consumption are some of the challenges faced in the process of *** study investigated the low-cost corncob substrate for glucose production by dilute sulphuric acid hydrolysis in the presence of ZnCl_(2) at temperatures below 100℃after pretreatment with 10%*** dependent hydrolysis data were analyzed by Saeman model,thermodynamic parameters were obtained using Erying and Arrhenius equations while box-behnken model(Design Expert 6.0 version)was used for experimental *** the substrate concentration increased from 50 mg/L to 150 mg/L,glucose yield increased from 10.4 mg/g to 14.6 mg/g for pretreated corncob while an increase from 3.4 mg/g to 8.6 mg/g was noted for untreated *** hydrolysis rate constant was two orders of magnitude higher than the degradation rate *** parameters revealed endothermic process with positive Gibb’s free energy of hydrolysis having average values of 84.76 kJ/mol and 79.87 kJ/mol for pretreated and untreated samples *** optimum yield from the model was found to be 177.44 mg/g with 3.94%H_(2)SO_(4) and 0.43 mol/L ZnCl_(2) for 200 g/L compared with optimum yield of 46.37 mg/g obtainable without ZnCl_(2).the results of this study showed that the alkaline pretreatment of corncob increased the accessibility of cellulose from the solid fraction and increase glucose production.

When a hyperelastic membrane tube is inflated by an internal pressure, a localized bulge will form when the pressure reaches a critical value. As inflation continues the bulge will grow until it reaches a maximum size after which it will then propagate in both directions to form a hat-like profile. the stability of such bulging solutions has recently been studied by neglecting the inertia of the inflating fluid and it was shown that such bulging solutions are unstable under pressure control. In this paper we extend this recent study by assuming that the inflation is by an inviscid fluid whose inertia we take into account in the stability analysis. this reflects more closely the situation of aneurysm forma- tion in human arteries which motivates the current series of studies. It is shown that fluid inertia would significantly reduce the growth rate of the unstable mode and thus it has a strong stabilizing effect.

the occurrence of γ phase, a high\|pressure polymorph of olivine （α phase）, in the shock veins of Si\| xiangkou chondrite was due to a greater cooling rate （>10 000℃·s -1 ） in the veins. because γ phase partially reverted to β phase and no back\|transformation from β phase to α phase took place, the shock veins of Peace River chondrite with a cooling rate of 1 000\2 000℃·s -1 contain a great amount of β phase. In the shock veins of Mbale chondrite with a cooling rate of the majority of γ phase reverted to α phase. the heat dissipation in shock veins took place after a stage of shock compression of chondrite parent body, and the parent body was broken into fragmental pieces. Cooling rate in the shock veins constrained the back\|transformations of （Mg,Fe）\-2SiO\-4 high\|pressure polymorphs.

the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux in the two-dimensional （2D） flow of a third- grade fluid towards an exponentially stretching sheet is investigated. the energy equation is considered through thermal relaxation. Similarity transformations are accounted to obtain the ordinary differential systems. the converted non-dimensional equations are solved for the series solutions. the convergence analysis of the computed solutions is reported. the graphical results of the velocity and temperature profiles are plotted and elaborated in detail. the results show that the thermal relaxation enhances the temper- ature gradient while reduces the temperature profile.
