Based on the theory of stratification, the well-posedness of the initial value problem for the linear shallow-water equations on an equatorial beta-plane was discussed. The sufficient and necessary conditions of the existence and uniqueness for the local solution of the equations were presented and the existence conditions for formal solutions of the equations vere also given. For the Cauchy problem on the hyper-plane {t = O}, the local analytic solution were worked out and a special case was discussed. Finally, an example was used to explain the variety of formal solutions for the ill-posed problem.

This paper considers the Geom/G/1 queueing model with feedback according to a late arrival system with delayed access （LASDA）. Using recursive method, this paper studies the transient property of the queue size from the initial state N（0＋） = i. Some new results about the recursive expression of the transient queue size distribution at any epoch n＋ and the recursive formulae of the equilibrium distribution are obtained. Furthermore, the recursive formulae of the equilibrium queue size distribution at epoch n-, and n are obtained, too. The important relations between stationary queue size distributions at different epochs are discovered （being different from the relations given in M/G/I queueing system）. The model discussed in this paper can be widely applied in all kinds of communications and computer network.

A novel damage detection method is applied to a 3-story frame structure, to obtain statistical quantification control criterion of the existence, location and identification of damage. The mean, standard deviation, and exponentially weighted moving average （EWMA） are applied to detect damage information according to statistical process control （SPC） theory. It is concluded that the detection is insignificant with the mean and EWMA because the structural response is not independent and is not a normal distribution. On the other hand, the damage information is detected well with the standard deviation because the influence of the data distribution is not pronounced with this parameter. A suitable moderate confidence level is explored for more significant damage location and quantification detection, and the impact of noise is investigated to illustrate the robustness of the method.

Based on density functional theory(DFT)of the first-principle for cathode materials of lithium ion battery,the electronic structures of(Li1-xMex)FePO4(Me=Na and Be,x=0-0.40)are calculated by plane wave pseudo-potential method using Cambridge serial total energy package(CASTEP)*** calculated results show that Li-site doping can improve the electronic conductivity *** with Na has a noticeable effect on improving its electrical ***,serious structural distortion will occur when its doping density is beyond *** view of this,the best density of doping Na is less than *** with Be has an inconspicuous effect on increasing its electrical conductivity and has good cyclical stability,but it cannot achieve as good results as when it is doped with *** we cannot find a middle ground between the two *** cost and environmental protection,it is ideal to choose *** this method gives a reasonable prediction to the improvement of electronic conductivity through Li-site doping in LiFePO4 material.

In this paper,we give a new fast attack on *** attack includes many present methods of constructing hash ***,we present a neighborhood *** propose a new difference path different from the previous *** conclusion is that,when the output of each step satisfies our condition,the message m can collide with m'= m + Δm,where Δm =(0,0,0,0,231,0,...,0).There is only one bit difference between m and m'.Two pairs of collision examples for HAVAL-128 are *** order to improve the probability of collision,we use four tricks of message *** attack's running time is less than 225.83 2-pass HAVAL computations,which is the best result for one-bit collision of HAVAL so far.
