The study of Quality of Service (QoS) has become of great importance since the Internet is used to support a wide variety of new services and applications with its legacy structure. Current Internet architecture is based on the Best Effort (BE) model, which attempts to deliver all traffic as soon as possible within the limits of its abilities, but without any guarantee about throughput, delay, packet loss, etc. We develop a three-layer policy based architecture which can be deployed to control network resources intelligently and support QoS sensi-tive applications such as real-time voice and video streams along with standard applications in the Internet. In order to achieve selected QoS parameter values (e.g. loss, delay and PDV) within the bounds set through SLAs for high priority voice traffic in the Internet, we used traffic engineering techniques and policy based routing supported by Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Use of prototype and simulations validates function-ality of our architecture.

In recent years,with the rapid development of nano-technology,the combination of diagnosis and treatment by nanotechnologyhas brought new hope for mankind to overcome *** Near-infrared two-region(NIR-II)imaging technology hasdeveloped rapidly in recent years because of its non-invasive nature,strong tissue penetration and overall imaging of small *** this study,a novel nano-drug delivery system(DOX-IR1061 cationic liposomes)was prepared,loaded with doxorubicin(DOX)as a chemotherapeutic drug and NIR-II-excited fluorescent probe IR1061 as an imaging agent,and the uptake ability of tumor cellswas enhanced by ***-IR1061 cationic liposomes have good NIR-II imaging ability,clear imaging and *** uptake indicated that palamine could enhance the uptake efficiency of cationic liposomes by tumor cells,while in vitroanti-tumor experiments revealed that the enhancement of uptake efficiency would enhance the anti-tumor effect of ***,DOX-IR1061 cationic liposomes we prepared have the potential to realize both tumor imaging and therapy,and to realize theintegration of rapid diagnosis and treatment,and provide new ideas for cancer cure and the development of the field of diagnosis andtreatment integration.

The color image segmentation problem has two main issues to be solved. The proper choice of a color model and the choice of an appropriate image model are the key issues in color image segmentation. In this work, Ohta (I1, I2, I3) is taken as the color model and different variants of Markov Random Field (MRF) models are proposed. In this regard, a Compound Markov Random Field (COMRF) model is porposed to take care of inter-color-plane and intra-color-plane interactions as well. In continuation to this model, a Constrained Compound Markov Random Field Model (CCOMRF) has been proposed to model the color images. The color image segmentation problem has been formulated in an unsupervised framework. The performance of the above proposed models has been compared with the standard MRF model and some of the state-of-the-art methods, and found to exhibit improved performance.

The specificity of the double-stranded RNA(dsRNA) used in the RNA interference(RNAi) technique is crucial for the success of sequence-specific gene silencing. Currently, RNAi-mediated insect control is a trending research ***, the off-target effects of the dsRNA in RNAi are a major concern. In this study, the ds Hvβ’COPI(coat protein complex I, β’ subunit)-treated and untreated transcriptomes of the 28-spotted potato lady beetle(Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata) were compared to understand its off-target gene silencing effects. The RNA-seq results revealed that 63 and 44 differentially expressed genes(DEGs) were upregulated and downregulated, respectively, in the ds Hvβ’COPI treated group as compared with the control. Validation of the differential expressions of some selected DEGs via reverse transcription-quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR) analysis confirmed the reliability of the transcriptome analysis results. Further downstream analysis revealed that there were no genes homologous with Hvβ’COPI in H. vigintioctopunctata. Additionally,no genes with a >11 bp continuous match with ds Hvβ’COPI were found in the H. vigintioctopunctata transcriptome. Six genes(Hvcitron, Hvhelicase, Hvtransposase, Hvserine, Hvdynein, and Hv E3 ubiquitin) were selected to examine the offtarget activity of ds Hvβ’COPI based on their potential involvement in various H. vigintioctopunctata metabolic *** severity of silencing these six off-target genes was evaluated by employing RNAi. The RNAi results confirmed the downregulation of the expression of all six genes, although there was no significant lethality. The findings of this study will be helpful in the risk analysis of future RNAi-mediated pest control experiments.

AIM： To evaluate effect of hypertension on retinal ganglion cell（RGC） apoptosis, intraocular pressure（IOP）,and the activation of endothelin-1（ET-1） signaling pathway in central retinal artery（CRA） in ***： The experimental study was performed on20 male Sprague Dawley rats that were divided into control group, and hypertension groups. The hypertension was induced by subcutaneous deoxycorticoacetate（DOCA）10 mg/kg twice a week and administered 0.9% Na Cl solution daily for 2, 6, and 10 wk. Blood pressure（BP） was measured using animal BP analyzer. IOP was measured by handheld tonometry. Retinal tissue preparations by paraffin blocks were made after enucleation. The expression of ET-1, e NOS, ET-1 receptor A（ETRA）, ET-1receptor B（ETRB）, and phosphorylated myosin light chain kinase（MLCK）, and caldesmon（Ca D） in CRA and RGC apoptosis were evaluated through immunofluorescent staining method then observed using laser scanning confocal microscopy. RESULTS： BP significantly increased in all of the hypertension groups compared to control（P =0.001）.Peak IOP elevation（7.78±4.14 mm Hg） and RGC apoptosis（576.15±33.28 Au） occurred on 2wk of hypertension. ET-1expression（1238.6±55.1 Au） and e NOS expression（2814.2±70.7 Au） were found highest in 2wk of hypertension,although the ratio of ET-1/e NOS decreased since *** peak expression in 10 wk of hypertension（1219.4 ±6.3 Au）, while ETRBsignificantly increased only in 2 weeks group（1069.2 ±9.6 Au）. The highest MLCK expression（1190.09±58.32 Au）, Ca D（1670.28±18.36 Au）were also found in 2wk of ***： Hypertension effects to activation of ET-1 signaling pathway significantly in CRA, elevation of IOP, and RGC apoptosis. The highest value was achieved at 2wk, which is the development phase of hypertension.

BACKGROUND The incidence of primary osteoarthritis knee is gradually increasing among young *** increasing prevalence of obesity,sedentary lifestyle,sporting activity,and vitamin D deficiency(VDD)has been hypothesized for this shifting disease *** study was designed to look for the association of serum vitamin D among these young arthritic *** To look for the association of serum vitamin D in younger knee osteoarthritis(KOA)*** In a 2-year observational study,146 non-obese KOA patients of 35-60 years were evaluated clinically(Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score,KOOS)and radiologically(Kellegren-Lawrence stage,KL).The serum 25(OH)D level of these patients and 146 normal healthy individuals of same age group were *** Both the groups were comparable in terms of age and *** average serum 25(OH)D level in healthy individuals and KOA patients was 45.83 ng/mL and 34.58 ng/mL,respectively(P<0.001).Inadequate serum 25(OH)D level(<30 ng/mL)was found in 46.57%of KOA patients and 24%of normal healthy participants indicating a significant positive association(odds ratio 2.77,95%CI:1.67-4.54,P<0.001).The 25(OH)D level in KL grade I,II,III and IV was 43.40,30.59,31.56 and 33.93 ng/mL respectively(no difference,P=0.47).Similarly,the KOOS score in sufficient,insufficient and deficient groups were 65.31,60.36 and 65.31,respectively(no difference,P=0.051).CONCLUSION The serum 25(OH)D level is significantly low in younger KOA ***,the clinical and radiological severities have no association with serum vitamin D level.

In contemporary medicine,cardiovascular disease is a major public health *** diseases are one of the leading causes of death *** are classiﬁed as vascular,ischemic,or *** information contained in patients’Electronic Health Records(EHR)enables clin-icians to identify and monitor heart *** failure rates have risen drama-tically in recent years as a result of changes in modern *** diseases are becoming more prevalent in today’s medical *** year,a substantial number of people die as a result of cardiac *** primary cause of these deaths is the improper use of pharmaceuticals without the supervision of a physician and the late detection of *** improve the efﬁciency of the classiﬁcation algo-rithms,we construct a data pre-processing stage using feature ***-ments using unidirectional and bidirectional neural network models found that a Deep Learning Modiﬁed Neural Network(DLMNN)model combined with the Pet Dog-Smell Sensing(PD-SS)algorithm predicted the highest classiﬁcation performance on the UCI Machine Learning Heart Disease *** DLMNN-based PDSS achieved an accuracy of 94.21%,an F-score of 92.38%,a recall of 94.62%,and a precision of 93.86%.These results are competitive and promising for a heart disease *** demonstrated that a DLMNN framework based on deep models may be used to solve the categorization problem for an unbalanced heart disease *** proposed approach can result in exceptionally accurate models that can be utilized to analyze and diagnose clinical real-world data.

The VRP is classified as an NP-hard problem. Hence exact optimization methods may be difficult to solve these problems in acceptable CPU times, when the problem involves real-world data sets that are very large. To get solutions in determining routes which are realistic and very close to the actual solution, we use heuristics and metaheuristics which are of the combinatorial optimization type. A literature review of VRPTW, TDVRP, and a metaheuristic such as the genetic algorithm was conducted. In this paper, the implementation of the VRPTW and its extension, the time-dependent VRPTW (TDVRPTW) has been carried out using the model as well as metaheuristics such as the genetic algorithm (GA). The algorithms were implemented, using Matlab and HeuristicLab optimization software. A plugin was developed using Visual C# and DOT NET framework 4.5. Results were tested using Solomon’s 56 benchmark instances classified into groups such as C1, C2, R1, R2, RC1, RC2, with 100 customer nodes, 25 vehicles and each vehicle capacity of 200. The results were comparable to the earlier algorithms developed and in some cases the current algorithm yielded better results in terms of total distance travelled and the average number of vehicles used.
