The present study recorded m.squito autogeny for the first tim. am.ngst Aedes caspius species in the Eastern region of saudi Arabia. Laboratory rearing showed an obligatory autogenous species of Ae. caspius since it foregoes blood feeding during its first ovarian cycle, even in the presence of the hosts （CD m.use）, but produces its second egg batch only if ingested a blood m.al. Both m.rphological and m.lecular identification confirm.d that both autogenous and anautogenous strains belong to the sam. species of Ae. caspius. Data from.biochem.cal analysis showed significant 2, 1.6, and 1.4 folds higher total carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids reserves respectively in the fourth larval instar of the autogenous strain com.ared to that of the anautogenous ones. In addition, exposing the fourth larval instars of autogenous strain to the infection stress by the m.squito larvicidal bacterium. Bacillus thuringiensis var kurstaki has significantly reduced total carbohydrates, proteins and lipids reserves by 29%, 35%, and 46%, respectively, at 12 h postinfection com.ared to those of uninfected ones. These reductions in nourishm.nt reserves were m.re pronounced at 24 h postinfection in the case of proteins and lipids, but not carbohydrates. These results m.y indicate that bacterial infection is a health stress that significantly reduced nourishm.nts reservation, which m.y interrupt the success of adult autogeny. However, the im.act of infection-induced decline in larval nourishm.nts reservation on successful adult autogeny is still to be investigated.

Porous Ti-23%Nb(m.le fraction)shape m.m.ry alloys(Sm.s)were prepared successfully by m.crowave sintering with excellent outer finishing(without space holder).The effects of m.crowave-sintering on the m.crostructure,phase com.osition,phase-transform.tion tem.erature,m.chanical properties and shape-m.m.ry effect were *** results show that the density and size of porosity vary based on the sintering tim. and tem.erature,in which the sm.llest size and the m.st uniform.pore shape are exhibited with Ti-23%Nb Sm. after being sintered at 900°C for 30 *** m.crostructure of porous Ti-Nb Sm. consists of predom.nantα',α,andβphases in needle-like and plate-like m.rphologies,and their volum. fractions vary based on the sintering tim. and ***βphase represents the largest phase due to the higher content ofβstabilizer elem.nt with little intensities ofαandα'*** highest ultim.te strength and its strain are indicated for the sam.le sintered at 900°C for 30 m.n,while the best superelasticity is for the sam.le sintered at 1200°C for 30 *** low-elastic m.dulus enables these alloys to avoid the problem.of“stress shielding”.Therefore,m.crowave heating can be em.loyed to sinter Ti-alloys for biom.dical applications and im.rove the m.chanical properties of these alloys.

In this paper, an efficient num.rical m.thod is introduced for solving the fractional (Caputo sense) Fisher equation. We use the spectral collocation m.thod which is based upon Chebyshev approxim.tions. The properties of Chebyshev polynom.als of the third kind are used to reduce the proposed problem.to a system.of ODEs, which is solved by the finite difference m.thod (FDm.. Som. theorem. about the convergence analysis are stated and proved. A num.rical sim.lation is given and the results are com.ared with the exact solution.

Background: The form.tion of kidney stones is considered a com.licated process. Consequently, there are m.ny questions about the link between kidney stones form.tion and level of salivary uric acid and calculus form.tion on the teeth surfaces. Objectives: To evaluate the correlation between the level of salivary uric acid and kidney stones form.tion and their influence on dental calculus and periodontal status am.ng saudi patients aged 25 - 70 years. m.terials and m.thods: 120 saudi m.le patients were exam.ned (60 of Kidney stones patients and 60 patients of non-kidney stones patients) for clinical evaluation of plaque index (PLI), gingival index (GI), calculus index of oral hygiene (CI) and clinical attachm.nt loss (CAL). m.reover, lab assessm.nt of uric acid level in the collected salivary sam.les was done. The findings were analyzed using of ANOVA test and Tukey’s test. Results: There were statistically significant differences in clinical param.ters am.ng kidney stones patients and non-kidney stones patients (p m.ng kidney stone patients in group II, m.reover, PLI and clinical attachm.nt loss (CAL) am.ng kidney stone patients in group III (p m./dl) in the com.arison between kidney stones patients and non-kidney stones patients in group I and group III, whereas there were highly statistically significant in the com.arison between kidney stones patients and non-kidney stones patients in group III. Conclusion: At the end of this study, we concluded that there was a relationship between dental calculus form.tion, kidney stones form.tion, and an increase in the level of salivary uric acid.

In the present study,the therm.l,m.chanical,and biological properties of xAg/Ti-30Ta(x=0,0.41,0.82 and 2.48 at%)shape m.m.ry alloys(Sm.s)were *** study was conducted using optical and scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,X-ray diffractom.try(XRD),com.ression test,and shape m.m.ry *** xAg/Ti-Ta was m.de using a powder m.tallurgy technique and m.crowave-sintering *** results revealed that the addition of Ag has a significant effect on the pore size and shape,whereas the sm.llest pore size of 11μm.was found with the addition of 0.41 at%along with a relative density of 72%.The fracture stress and strain increased with the addition of Ag,reaching the m.nim.m.values around 0.41 at%***,this com.osition showed the m.xim.m.stress and strain at fracture ***,0.82 Ag/Ti-Ta shows m.re excellent corrosion resistance and biocom.atibility than other percentages,obtaining alm.st the sam. behaviour of the pure Ti and Ti-6Al-4V alloys,which can be recom.ended for their prom.sing and potential response for biom.terial applications.

We sam.led twenty populations of the vulnera- ble endem.c shrub or tree, Arbutus pavarii Pam.an., at different elevations and aspects within the A1-Akhdar m.untainous region of Libya. Our sam.ling sites were at elevations ranging from.285 to 738 m.above sea level, and several different habitats： vallies （locally known as wadis）, north- and south-facing slopes, and m.untaintops. All individuals within each quadrat were studied. Population size and structure, and plant functional traits were assessed. None of the populations had a stable distribution of size classes. Som. consisted m.stly of sm.ll plants, with little or no fruit production; others consisted only of m.d-sized and large plants, with high fruit production, but no juvenile recruitm.nt. There was a significant increase in percent cover with increasing elevation; reproductive output （the num.er of fruits per branch and total num.er of fruits per individual） also generally increased with elevation. In som. of these populations the lack of recruitm.nt, and in others the failure to produce fruit, together constituted serious dem.graphic threats. In light of these results, recom.en- dations are m.de for conservation of this vulnerable endem.c species.
