The utilisation of oil palm.fibre(OPF)and pineapple leaf fibres(PALF)as reinforcem.nt m.terials for bio-phenolic com.osites is growing especially in autom.tive lightweight *** m.jor aim.of this current study is to investigate the influence of alkali(Ca(OH)_(2)) treatm.nt on pure and hybrid *** effects of enhancem.nts in chem.cal interactions were evaluated by the Fourier-Transform.Infrared Spectrom.ter(FTIR).Dynam.c m.chanical Analysis(Dm.)and Therm.gravim.tric Analysis(TGA)perform.nce of untreated reinforcem.nts(OPF and PALF)and treated(OPF/OPF)com.osites at varying tem.erature and noted sufficient interfacial bonding contributing towards the im.rovem.nts in therm.l *** Dm. results,the storage m.dulus im.roved with treated com.osites while the dam.ing factor was ***,the treated hybrid com.osites exhibited significant im.rovem.nts in therm.l stability com.ared to untreated fibre *** results indicated that alkali calcium.hydroxide(Ca(OH2(:T)incorporation in hybrid com.osites(OPF/PALF)results in increased tensile strength and m.dulus am.ng all ***,the alkali-treated(Ca(OH)_(2))-treated pure com.osite(T/50%PALF),and hybrid com.osites(T/1OPF.1PALF)exhibited better flexural strength as com.ared with other *** contrast,the T/50%PALF showed higher flexural stress of 78.2 m.a,while the flexural m.dulus was recorded at 6503 *** can be proposed from.the findings of this study that the alkali treatm.nt(5%Ca(OH)_(2))can be utilised to im.rove the strength and efficiency of agriculture biom.ss to be used as reinforcem.nts in ***,the hybridisation of bio-fibre com.osites has the potential as a novel variety of biodegradable and sustainable com.osites appropriate for several industrial and engineering applications.

Num.rical solution is presented for the two- dim.nsional flow of a m.cropolar fluid between two porous coaxial disks of different perm.ability for a range of Reynolds num.er Re （-300≤ Re 〈 0） and perm.ability param.ter A （1.0≤A ≤2.0）. The m.in flow is superim.osed by the injection at the surfaces of the two disks. Von Karm.n＇s sim.larity transform.tions are used to reduce the governing equations of m.tion to a set of non-linear coupled ordinary differential equations （ODEs） in dim.nsionless form. An algorithm.based on the finite difference m.thod is em.loyed to solve these ODEs and Richardson＇s extrapolation is used to obtain higher order accuracy. The results indicate that the param.ters Re and A have a strong influence on the velocity and m.crorotation profiles, shear stresses at the disks and the position of the viscous/shear layer. The m.cropolar m.terial constants cl, c2, c3 have profound effect on m.crorotation as com.ared to their effect on stream.ise and axial velocity profiles. The results of m.cropolar fluids are com.ared with the results for Newtonian fluids.

In the healthcare dom.in, protecting the electronic health record (EHR) is crucial for preserving the privacy of the patient. To help protect the sensitive data, access control m.chanism. can be utilized to restrict access to only legitim.te users. However, an issue arises when the authorized users abuse their access privileges and violate privacy preferences of the patients. While traditional access control schem.s fall short of defending against the m.sbehavior of authorized users, risk-aware access control m.dels can provide adaptable access to the system.resources based on assessing the risk of an access request. When an access request is deem.d risky, but within acceptable thresholds, risk m.tigation strategies can be exploited to m.nim.ze the risk calculated. This paper proposes a risk-aware, privacy-preserving risk m.tigation approach that can be utilized in the healthcare dom.in. The risk m.tigation approach controls the patient’s m.dical data that can be exposed to healthcare professionals, according to their trust level as well as the risk incurred of such data exposure, by developing a novel Risk m.asure form.la. The developed Risk m.asure is proven to m.nage the risk effectively. Furtherm.re, Risk m.tigation Data Disclosure algorithm., RIm.DI0 and RIm.DI1, which utilize the developed risk m.asures, are proposed. Experim.ntal results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed m.thod in preserving the privacy preferences of the patient. Since the proposed approach exposes the patient’s data that are relevant to the undergoing m.dical procedure while preserving the privacy preferences, positive outcom.s can be realized, which will ultim.tely bring forth quality healthcare services.

Huge am.unts of various polym.rs are being used in m.ny fields with num.rous benefits. However, their great ability to ignition and rapid flam. spreading m.ke these m.terials dangerous for hum.n life and properties due to the release of highly toxic com.ustion products. The present work aim. to investigate several m.thods of sam.ling and identification of arom.tic hydrocarbons produced by controlled burning of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) using a toxicity tube furnace. Five different sam.ling m.thods were used: solid phase m.cro extraction (SPm.), syringe, tedlar bags, sorption tubes, and gas-solution absorbers (m.dget im.ingers). The produced hydrocarbons were analysed by gas chrom.tography coupled to m.ss spectrom.try with and without pyrolysis. Am.ng the tested techniques, the m.st convenient sam.ling m.thod was using syringe with a glass vessel which allowed detection of the highest am.unt of arom.tic hydrocarbons at both 800°C and 600°C, and then followed by SPm.. On the other hand, the use of gas-solution absorber (m.dget im.inger) showed poorer results. Regarding the use of tedlar bags and sorption tubes, they did not give satisfactory results. Several carcinogenic or possibly carcinogenic com.ounds were identified in the com.ustion products, such as benzene, naphthalene, anthracene and pyrene.

From.econom.c and nutritional points of view,tom.to is,historically,considered one of the m.st im.ortant *** signiﬁcant yield reduction,m.st com.ercial cultivars of tom.to crops are sensitive to m.derate levels of ***,high levels of salt stress can negatively affect the yield and quality of tom.to ***,this study was conducted to evaluate the yield and fruit quality of three tom.to cultivars(Forester,Ghandowra-F1,and Feisty-Red)cultivated hydroponically,under three different levels of nutrient solution *** of tom.to fruits was perform.d based on quantity(num.er and weight of fruits,and total fruit yield),physical quality(color andﬁrm.ess),and chem.cal quality(refractom.tric index“Brix”,pH,EC,K^(+),Na^(+),and NO_(3)-).Experim.nts were conducted using three salinity levels of the nutrient solution with electrical conductivity values(dSm.(-1))of 2.5(control),6.0,and *** showed that the studied tom.to cultivars were signiﬁcantly inﬂuenced by high salinity(9.5 dSm.(-1))in com.arison to the low(2.5 dSm.(-1))and m.dium.6.0 dSm.(-1))levels of *** average,the highest fruit weight per plant of 1944.84 g and total fruit yield of 4.42 kgm.(-2) were observed at the low salinity level;however,no signiﬁcant differences were obtained in the two yield factors(single fruit weight and total fruit yield)for the low and m.dium.salinity *** the other hand,a signiﬁcant reduction in tom.to yield(31%)was associated with the high salinity level com.ared to the yield at low and m.dium.salinity *** of physical quality param.ters showed highly signiﬁcant differences am.ng all salinity *** average,the m.xim.m.value of color change(1.72)was associated with the m.dium.salinity level,and the m.xim.m.value ofﬁrm.ess(9.61 Ncm.(-1))was recorded at the high salinity *** levels and tom.to cultivars introduced signiﬁcant differences in chem.cal quality param.ters;however,no signiﬁcant differences in these
