Crop insect detection becomes a tedious process for agronomists because a substantial part of the crops is damaged,and due to the pest attacks,the quality is *** are the major reason behind crop quality degradation and diminished crop ***,accurate pest detection is essential to guarantee safety and crop *** identification of insects necessitates highly trained taxonomists to detect insects precisely based on morphological ***,some progress has been made in agriculture by employing machine learning(ML)to classify and detect *** study introduces a Modified Metaheuristics with Transfer Learning based Insect Pest Classification for Agricultural Crops(MMTL-IPCAC)*** presented MMTL-IPCAC technique applies contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization(CLAHE)approach for image *** neural architectural search network(NASNet)model is applied for feature extraction,and a modified grey wolf optimization(MGWO)algorithm is employed for the hyperparameter tuning process,showing the novelty of the *** last,the extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)model is utilized to carry out the insect classification *** simulation analysis stated the enhanced performance of the MMTL-IPCAC technique in the insect classification process with maximum accuracy of 98.73%.

Transcriptome Profiles and Gene Expression of Min6 Cells Are Altered by Pancreatic Stellate Cells

Aim: To identify the influence of pancreatic stellate cell (PSCs) secretions on gene expression profiles of Min6 cells by whole transcriptome sequencing. Methods: Pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) were isolated from C57BL6J mice and propagated in vitro to acquire the activated phenotype. Total RNA was isolated from monocultured (MC) and PSC cocultured (CC) Min6 cells to prepare cDNA libraries, which were subjected to whole transcriptome sequencing for identifying differential expression of β-cell transcription factors (Pdx-1, Rfx6 and NeuroD1) related to insulin gene transcription and GSIS related genes such as Glut2, Gck, Abcc8, Kcnj11 and L-type Ca2+ channels (Cacnb2, Cacna1c). qRT-PCR was used to validate the gene expression. GSIS of Min6 cells was examined by estimating insulin levels in response to high glucose challenge. Results: Transcriptome analysis of discovery set revealed that coculture of Min6 cells with PSCs caused increased expression of β-cell specific genes (Ins1, Rfx6 and NeuroD1) concomitant with decreased expression of Pdx-1, MafA and Nkx2-2. Expression of GSIS associated genes (Glut2, Gck, Abcc8, Kcnj11 and Cacnb2) was decreased in such conditions. Validation by qRT-PCR in Min6 cells cocultured with PSCs revealed increased significant expression of Ins1 (2.1 ± 0.22 folds;p ≤ 0.001), Rfx6 (1.68 ± 0.23 folds;p ≤ 0.002) and NeuroD1 (0.96 ± 0.11 folds;p ≤ 0.01), accompanied by downregulation of Cacnb2 (-0.93 ± 0.57 folds;p ≤ 0.05). PSC secretions did not restore the GSIS from glucose unresponsive higher passage Min6 cells (MC: 1.33 ± 0.42;CC: 1.55 ± 0.72 pmol/mg protein;p = ns) upon high glucose stimulation. However, glucose responsive higher passage Min6 cells cocultured with PSCs presented increased insulin secretion (MC: 7.025 ± 0.64;CC: 14.84 ± 1.01 pmol/mg protein;p ≤ 0.04) concomitant with marginal increase of insulin contents. This paper is devoted to the study of a translation plane π(C) associated with a t-spread set C and its transposed t-spread set C t. In this paper, an explicit matrix form of the inverse of an isomorphism from a translation plane into another translation plane associated with t-spread sets is derived and proved that two translation planes associated with t-spread sets are isomorphic if and only if their corresponding transposed translation planes are isomorphic. Further, it is shown that the transpose of a flag-transitive plane is flag-transitive and derived a necessary and sufficient condition for a translation plane π(C) to be isomorphic to its transposed translation plane.

Background: In India, tuberculosis remains as a major public health problem amongst the tribal population. Poor physical access to diagnosis and treatment under the Revised National TB control programme (RNTCP) still remains the problem for the population. RNTCP implements Tribal Action Plan (TAP) for tribal patients. We conducted the study to determine the trends of financial utilisation for the special provisions available under tribal action plan like patient honorarium, incentive for sputum collection and transport, incentive for programme staff and incentive for vehicle maintenance. Methods: A cross-sectional study based on mixed method study approach was conducted in Chhattisgarh, India during Nov. 16 to Jun. 17. District TB Officers implementing TAP were interviewed telephonically using a semi-structured questionnaire to ascertain and analyse the reasons for low fund utilization in their districts. Retrospective financial data for five financial years from 13 TAP districts for 2012-2013 to 2016-2017 was collected, compiled and analysed. Results: Overall, the trends on states expenditure on tribal action plan in terms of absolute numbers has increased over the past five years;however, in terms of fund utilization against received ranges from 37% - 86% with the utilization rate less than 44% in the recent years (2014-2017). Conclusion: The trends of utilisation of TAP is less than 44% over the recent years. There is an urgent need for the administrators to intervene and improve the efficiency of fund utilisation at State and district levels.

A single RP-HPLC method is developed for estimation of isomeric impurities of vitamin D3 analogue-Calcipotriol/Calcipotriene (Calci) and impurities of Betamethasone dipropionate (BD). The developed method is capable of separating impurities of Calci and BD, specifically pre-Calcipotriene (Pre-Calci) from other known and unknown impurities. Pre-Calci is isolated and is characterised using few analytical techniques. These impurities are separated using a RP-C18 150 × 4.6 mm, 2.7 μm column maintained at 50°C. The mobile phase consisted of mixture of water, methanol, acetonitrile and tetrahydrofuran eluted in gradient mode. Detection was done at 264 nm and 240 nm for Calci and BD impurities respectively. The method can be used for determining quality of Calci and BD drugs and ointment based drug products. It is stability indicating related substance method for both the drugs and drug products.

A simple, multi component, one-pot method has been reported for the synthesis of poly substituted imidazoles in presence of magnetically separable and recyclable spinel nano copper ferrite as heterogeneous catalyst by the cyclo-condensation of benzil, aromatic aldehyde, ammonium acetate and substituted amines under ultrasonic irradiation. This method of preparation has many advantages compared to those methods which are previously reported in the literature. This methodology offers simple experimental procedure, milder reaction conditions and environmentally benign approach.
