BACKGROUnD Mesenchymal stromal cell(MSC)-based cellular therapy promotes type I collagen production,enhance mechanical strength of tissues,and enhance biology at the bone-tendon interface,which primarily explains their potential clinical utility in rotator cuff(RC)*** To analyze the efficacy and safety of cellular therapy utilizing MSCs in the management of RC tears from clinical studies available in the *** We conducted independent and duplicate electronic database searches including PubMed,Embase,Reference Citation Anallysis,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library in August 2021 for studies analyzing the efficacy and safety of cellular therapy(CT)utilizing MSCs in the management of RC *** Analog Score(VAS)score for pain,American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)score,Disability of the Arm,Shoulder,and Hand score,Constant score,radiological assessment of healing,and complications such as retear rate and adverse events were the outcomes *** was performed in R-platform using OpenMeta[Analyst]*** Six studies involving 238 patients were included for *** noted a significant reduction in VAS score for pain at 3 mo(weighed mean difference[WMD]=-2.234,Pnd 6 mo(WMD=-3.078,Pnot maintained at long-term follow-up(WMD=-0.749,P=0.544).Concerning functional outcomes,utilization of CT produced a significant shortterm improvement in the ASES score(WMD=17.090,Pnd significant benefit in functional scores such as Constant score(WMD=0.833,P=0.760)at long-term ***,we also observed significantly improved radiological tendon healing during the longterm follow-up(odds ratio[OR]=3.252,P=0.059).We also noted a significant reduction in the retear rate upon utilization of CT in RC tears both at short-(OR=0.079,P=0.032)and long-term(OR=0.434,P=0.027)*** did not observe any significant increase in the adverse events directly related to cellular therapy,as comp

Objective:To investigate the potential of ascorbic acid in mitigating reproductive toxicity induced by di-(2-ethyl hexyl)phthalate(DEHP)in female Wistar rats,focusing on oxidative stress,hormone levels,and gonadotropin receptors ***:Forty female Wistar rats[30 days old,weighing(60±10)g]were randomly divided into five groups(n=8 per group).Group 1 received corn oil(control).Groups 2 and 3 were administered DEHP at 10 and 100 mg/kg body weight(***.),*** 4 and 5 received DEHP at 10 and 100 mg/kg ***.,respectively,plus ascorbic acid 100 mg/kg ***..All treatments were given orally for 30 *** and ovarian tissues were collected to assess serum reproductive hormones,gonadotropin receptor gene expression,oxidative stress markers,and ***:DEHP,particularly at the higher dose,significantly decreased hormone levels(follicle-stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,estradiol)and gonadotropin receptor gene expression(FSHR,LHR),while increasing oxidative stress and ***-treatment with ascorbic acid significantly improved these parameters,reducing oxidative stress and apoptosis,and restoring hormone levels and gonadotropin receptor *** revealed fewer atretic follicles and less disruption in ovarian structure in DEHP and ascorbic acid-treated groups compared to those treated with DEHP ***:Ascorbic acid demonstrates protective effects against DEHP-induced reproductive toxicity in female rats,likely through mitigating oxidative stress and normalizing hormone levels and ovarian function.

The selective synthesis of p-diethylbenzene （p-DEB） by disproportionation of ethylbenzene （EB） in the presence of aromatics like m- and p- xylene isomers has been studied over a pore size regulated HZSM-5 catalyst. The industrial feed having different compositions of ethylbenzene and xylene isomers was used for the experimentation. Hence, they were expected to hinder the movement of reactant molecules both on the external surface and within the zeolite channels. It was observed that irrespective of the different feed compositions the concentration of the xylene isomers was intact in the product. There is no other byproducts formation like para-ethylmethyl benzene. The effects of varying the concentration of aromatic compounds in the feed on ethylbenzene conversion and product distribution over the parent and modified H-ZSM-5 catalyst have been discussed. Ethylbenzene disproportionation reaction follows the pseudo first order reaction with an activation energy of 8.6 kcal/mol.

In addition to the pressurized high-temperature superconductivity,bilayer and trilayer nickelate superconductors La_(n+1)ni_nO_(3n+1)(n=2 and 3)exhibit many intriguing properties at ambient pressure,such as orbital-dependent electronic correlation,non-Fermi liquid behavior,and density-wave ***,using ultrafast reflectivity measurement,we observe a drastic difference between the ultrafast dynamics of the bilayer and trilayer nickelates at ambient *** observe a coherent phonon mode in La_(4)ni_(3)O_(10)involving the collective vibration of La,ni,and O atoms,which is absent in La_(3)ni_(2)O_(7).Temperature-dependent relaxation time diverges near the density-wave transition temperature of La_(4)ni_(3)O_(10),while it is inversely proportional to the temperature in La_(3)ni_(2)O_(7)above~150 K,suggesting a non-Fermi liquid behavior of La_(3)ni_(2)O_(7).Moreover,we estimate the electron–phonon coupling constants to be 0.05–0.07 and 0.12–0.16 for La_(3)ni_(2)O_(7)and La_(4)ni_(3)O_(10),respectively,suggesting a relatively minor role of electron–phonon coupling in the electronic properties of La_(n+1)ni_nO_(3n+1)at ambient *** relevant microscopic interaction and dynamic information are essential for further studying the interplay between superconductivity and density-wave transitions in nickelate superconductors.

Elastomeric materials show promise as potential micro-fillers in brake *** can provide vibration damping and acoustic advantages in intermittent and abrupt impact applications such as *** elastomeric material can be salvaged from non-biodegradable automotive tires,thereby providing an opportunity to reuse materials that will otherwise be discarded in *** tribological and thermomechanical performances of the waste tire rubber were assessed to determine their potential for use as micro-fillers in the brake linings of commercial vehicles with a gross weight less than 16 ***,the brake lining materials were fabricated with fine waste tire rubber particulates(WTRPs)as the micro-fillers,phenolic-R resin as the binder,graphite as the dry lubricant,laterite as the co-filler,and coconut coir for natural fiber *** effects of increasing the WTRP weight fraction on the brake response of the linings were analyzed,and the different compositions were benchmarked against a commercial brake *** characterization comprising compressive strength,hardness,density,and porosity studies were carried *** and wear characteristics of the linings were analyzed using a rotary tribometer with simultaneous thermal *** manufactured lining with 15 wt%WTRPs exhibited a mean friction coefficient of^0.38,a specific volumetric loss rate of 1,662μm3/(n?m),and improved thermal *** optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)with energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),wear surface morphology studies compared the relative development of primary and secondary plateaus and revealed the redistribution of wear debris,leading to the stability of the coefficient of friction.

水文情势是水生态环境质量的重要参考依据,研究湖泊、河流等水文情势变化特征可为水域安全管理和生态系统功能恢复提供一定科学依据。利用城陵矶等代表性站点水文数据以及Landsat5、8卫星遥感数据,综合分析了2000—2020年洞庭湖水文情势变化特征,并从流域层面分析了来水对洞庭湖水文情势变化的驱动影响。结果表明:(1)洞庭湖整体平均水位年际波动较大,同时年内水位变化趋势较为明显,具有明显的丰枯水期;(2)洞庭湖最大水域面积减少,但最小水域面积增加;(3)洞庭湖水体有效连通性大幅度下降,W-E方向的连通性提高,而n-S方向的连通性下降;(4)三口(藕池口、松滋口、太平口)水位和流量变化与湖区整体水文情势关系更加密切,其中藕池口对湖区水文情势影响最大。
