We have developed an expedient approach,＂HOPE＂（hybrid orthogonal protocol with ease） strategy for the synthesis of peptidyl *** new strategy was characterized by following points：incorporating Boc and Fmoc protocols together on Merrifield resin,removal of SPG（side-chain protecting groups） without the damage of linker structure on the resin,and the ammonolysis of linker as the last step could achieve the introducing N-alkylamide structure into C-terminal and releasing product from resin-support *** present work,eight peptidylamides with different alkylsubstitution at C-terminal were conveniently synthesized by HOPE strategy.

The ultimate goals of treating chronic hepatitis B(CHB)is prevention of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and hepatic *** the advent of effective antiviral drugs that appeared during the past two decades,considerable advances have been made not only in controlling hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,but also in preventing and reducing the incidence of liver cirrhosis and ***,several recent studies have suggested the possibility of reducing the incidence of recurrent or new HCC in patients even after they have developed ***,six medications are available for HBV treatment including,interferon and five nucleoside/nucleotide *** this review,we will examine the antiviral drugs and the progresses that have been made with antiviral treatments in the field of CHB.

AIM:To seek for an effective method to improve the immune responses induced by DNA vaccine expressing HBV surface antigen(pCR3.1-S)in Balb/c mice(H-2~d). METHODS:The pCR3.1-S plasmid and the eukaryotic expression vectors expressing murine IL-2(pDOR-IL-2)or IL-12(pWRG3169)were injected into mice subcutaneously. The immune responses to pCR3.1-S and the adjuvant effect of the cytokines plasmid were *** the effect of pCR3.1-S on anti-translated subcutaneous tumor of P815 mastocytoma cells stably expressing HBsAg(P815-HBV-S) was also ***-HBs in serum was detected by enzyme- linked immunoadsordent assay(ELISA)and HBsAg specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)activity was measured by ^(51)Cr release *** three weeks of DNA immunization,the cells of P815-HBV-S were inoculated into mice subcutaneously and the tumor growth was measured every five *** survival rate and living periods of mice were also calculated. RESULTS:After 8 wk DNA immunization,the A 450 nm values of sera in mice immunized with pCR3.1,pCR3.1-S and pCR3.1-S codeliveried with IL-2 or IL-12 plasmids were 0.03+0.01,1.24±0.10,1.98±0.17 and 1.67±0.12 *** in mice codeliveried pCR3.1-S with IL-2 or IL-12 plasmids were significantly higher than that of mice injected pCR3.1 or pCR3.1-S *** HBsAg specific CTL activities in mice coinjected with pCR3.1-S and IL-2 or IL- l2 eukaryotic expression vectors were(61.9±7.1)% and (73.3±8.8)%,which were significantly higher than that of mice injected with pCR3.1(10.1±2.1)% or pCR3.1-S(50.5 ±6.4)%.The HBsAg specific CTL activities in mice injected with pCR3.1,pCR3.1-S,pCR3.1-S combined with IL-2 or IL- l2 eukaryotic expression vectors decreased significantly to (3.2±0.8)%,(10.6±1.4)%,(13.6±1.3)% and(16.9±2.3) % respectively after the spleen cells were treated by anti- CD8^+ monoclonal antibody,but presented no significant change to anti-CD4^+ monoclonal antibody or unrelated to monoclonal *** HBV-S DNA vaccine(pCR3.1-S

In this paper, we not only construct the confidence region for parameters in a mixed integer-valued autoregressive process using the empirical likelihood method, but also establish the empirical log-likelihood ratio statistic and obtain its limiting distribution. And then, via simulation studies we give coverage probabilities for the parameters of interest. The results show that the empirical likelihood method performs very well.

Soft tissue sarcoma are rare tumors arising mostly from embryonic mesoderm, that can affect almost any part of the human body, including the gastrointestinal tract. The prognosis associated with soft tissue sarcoma is still poor, mainly because of the low efficacy of traditional approaches based on surgery and chemotherapy. As a result of genetic and molecular analysis, several new target therapies have been developed, leading to a significant improvement in the survival of patients affected by advanced disease. In this review we aim to explore the therapeutic potential and benefit of target therapy in the management of gastrointestinal soft tissue sarcoma and the possible complications or pitfalls of such an approach.

The impact toughness of EN-GJS-400-18-LT ductile iron was measured by Charpy V-notch impact test at temperature between-80 and 20℃.The fracture properties were tested under instrumented impact *** impact fracture energy,crack initiation and propagation energy,dynamic loads and the ductile to brittle temperature were ***-dimensional reconstruction of impact fracture morphology was accomplished by confocal laser scanning *** results of quantitative fractography indicate that cleavage fracture produces flatter fracture surfaces accompanying with less absorbed energy during the impact fracture *** indicates that fracture roughness has a close relationship with crack propagation energy at low temperature.

A new approach combined the specificity of allele-specific amplification （ASA） with the sensitivity of electrochemiluminescence （ECL） assay for single nucleotide polymorphism （SNP） analysis was proposed. Briefly, target gene was amplified by a biotin-labeled allele-specific forward primer and a Ru（bpy）3 ^2＋（TBR）-labeled universal reverse primer. Then, the amplicon was captured onto streptavidin-coated paramagnetic beads through biotin label, and detected by measuring the ECL signal of TBR label. Different genotypes were distinguished according to the ECL values of the amplicons by different genotypic primers. K-ras oncogene was used as a target to validate the feasibility of the method. The experiment results show that the different genotypes can be clearly distinguished by ASA-ECL assay. The method is useful in SNP analysis due to its sensitivity,safety, and simplicity.

Climate change profoundly impacts ecosystems and their biota,resulting in range shifts,novel interactions,food web alterations,changed intensities of host–parasite interactions,and *** increasing number of studies have documented evolutionary changes in traits such as phenology and thermal *** this opinion paper,we argue that,while evolutionary responses have the potential to provide a buffer against extinctions or range shifts,a number of constraints and complexities blur this simple ***,there are limits to evolutionary potential both in terms of genetic variation and demographic effects,and these limits differ strongly among taxa and ***,there can be costs associated with genetic adaptation,such as a reduced evolutionary potential towards other(human-induced)environmental stressors or direct fitness costs due to ***,the differential capacity of taxa to genetically respond to climate change results in novel interactions because different organism groups respond to a different degree with local compared to regional(dispersal and range shift)*** complexities result in additional changes in the selection pressures on *** conclude that evolution can provide an initial buffer against climate change for some taxa and populations but does not guarantee their *** does not necessarily result in reduced extinction risks across the range of taxa in a region or ***,considering evolution is crucial,as it is likely to strongly change how biota will respond to climate change and will impact which taxa will be the winners or losers at the local,metacommunity and regional scales.
