A new review of single-ion conducting polymer electrolytes in the light of ion transport mechanisms

With the depletion of fossil fuels and the demand for high-performance energy storage devices,solidstate lithium metal batteries have received widespread attention due to their high energy density and safety *** them,the earliest developed organic solid-state polymer electrolyte has a promising future due to its advantages such as good mechanical flexibility,but its poor ion transport performance dramatically limits its performance ***,single-ion conducting polymer electrolytes(SICPEs)with high lithium-ion transport number,capable of improving the concentration polarization and inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites,have been proposed,which provide a new direction for the further development of high-performance organic polymer *** view of this,lithium ions transport mechanisms and design principles in SICPEs are summarized and discussed in this *** modification principles currently used can be categorized into the following three types:enhancement of lithium salt anion-polymer interactions,weakening of lithium salt anion-cation interactions,and modulation of lithium ion-polymer *** addition,the advances in single-ion conductors of conventional and novel polymer electrolytes are summarized,and several typical highperformance single-ion conductors are enumerated and analyzed in what way they improve ionic conductivity,lithium ions mobility,and the ability to inhibit lithium ***,the advantages and design methodology of SICPEs are summarized again and the future directions are outlined.

The unique characteristics of nanofibers in rational electrode design enable effec-tive utilization and maximizing material properties for achieving highly efficient and sustainable CO_(2) reduction reactions( CO_(2)RRs)in solid oxide elec-trolysis cells(SOECs).However,practical appli-cation of nanofiber-based electrodes faces chal-lenges in establishing sufficient interfacial contact and adhesion with the dense *** tackle this challenge,a novel hybrid nanofiber electrode,La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.15)Fe_(0.8)Pd_(0.05)O_(3-δ)(H-LSCFP),is developed by strategically incorporating low aspect ratio crushed LSCFP nanofibers into the excess porous interspace of a high aspect ratio LSCFP nanofiber framework synthesized via electrospinning *** consecutive treatment in 100% H_(2) and CO_(2) at 700°C,LSCFP nanofibers form a perovskite phase with in situ exsolved Co metal nanocatalysts and a high concentration of oxygen species on the surface,enhancing CO_(2) *** SOEC with the H-LSCFP electrode yielded an outstanding current density of 2.2 A cm^(-2) in CO_(2) at 800°C and 1.5 V,setting a new benchmark among reported nanofiber-based *** twinning of the H-LSCFP reveals improved contact adhesion and increased reaction sites for CO_(2)*** present work demonstrates a highly catalytically active and robust nanofiber-based fuel electrode with a hybrid structure,paving the way for further advancements and nanofiber applications in CO_(2)-SOECs.

Atmospheric humidity is a sustainable low-value energy widely existing in natural environment,which is a promising candidate to solve the noncontinuous and low efficiency of low-value energy power *** the mono-substituted Dawson-type polyoxometalates are constructed to be highly dispersed organic ammonium-polyoxoanion clusters and are assembled into thin films power generators with micropores,working in atmospheric *** optimal polyoxometalates generator with the thickness of 7.2μm and the area of 0.36 cm^(2) produces a voltage of 0.68 V and a current density of 19.5μA·cm^(-2) under simulated natural environment,and works continuously and stably under almost all-natural environments(humidity 10%–90%).The highly dispersed polyoxometalate nanoclusters can form microporous in polyoxometalate films to effectively absorb atmospheric humidity and spontaneously form distribution gradient of water,which is the structural basis of power *** continuous power generation may be maintained by the effective adsorption and utilization of H_(2)O,the huge electrostatic field of organic ammonium-polyoxoanion clusters,and the reasonably designed polyoxometalates containing inorganic small ions with high *** is the first humidity generator designed with polyoxometalates,which may provide a new research direction for polyoxometalates in sustainable utilization of low-value energy.

microplastics(mPs)become ubiquitous in soil and are an environmental and public health concern ***,the status of mPs in natural and farmland soils in remote areas remains poorly *** this study,we investigated the characteristics of mPs in natural and farmland soils along two transects in the Qilian mountains of the northern Tibetan *** average abundance of mPs in natural and farmland soils was 29,778 and 56,123 items kg^(-1),respectively,with a detection size range of 10-1000μ*** in the size range of 10-100μm accounted for 84.1%of particles *** the 21 polymers detected,polyethylene dominated in both farmland and natural *** shape of mPs was dominated by fragments(95.8%),followed by fibers(3.8%)and beads(0.4%).The abundance of mPs was positively correlated with increasing altitude in natural *** was no significant correlation between the abundance of mPs and soil physicochemical properties due to the narrow range of values of soil physicochemical *** the growing concern regarding mPs pollution,research on the status of mPs in high altitude and remote areas is critical to understanding their global cycle.

mineral processing wastewater(mPW)with large discharge and high toxicity affects environmental safety,and the realizing zero discharge of mPW is of great significance for reducing environmental pollution,saving water resources,and promoting the sustainable development of the mining *** this study,we reported natural marmatite(Nm)as a low-cost and efficient photocatalyst for the treatment of mPW to help zero wastewater *** photocatalytic activity of Nm was evaluated by the removal of total organic carbon(TOC)from mPW under visible-light illumination,and the optimal degradation conditions were *** showed that superoxide free radicals(^(·)O_(2)^(-))were the dominant active species responsible for organic pollutants degradation,and 74.25%TOC removal was obtained after 120 min reaction under the optimum treatment ***,the wastewater treated by Nm photocatalysis can be reused in the flotation system without adverse impact on the product *** on these findings,a model of zero wastewater discharge for flotation with the help of photocatalytic treatment was established,it indicated that the water of the whole system can be balanced without affecting the ore dressing index,which showed that visible light-driven photocatalyst has a promising application prospect in the treatment and recycling of industrial wastewater.

Introduction: One in two cardiac patients fear having another heart event or their heart condition getting worse. Research in other chronic illnesses demonstrates that screening for fear of progression and recurrence is vital for adequately addressing such concerns in clinical care. The current project aims to develop and validate a measure for fear of progression and recurrence in cardiac ***: The Fear of Cardiac Recurrence and Progression Scale (FCRP) will be developed through a multistep process. An initial item pool will be generated through a review of the literature and existing measures and consultation with and feedback from key informants. The item pool will be tested in a sample of over 250 adults who have ever had an acute coronary event, undergone cardiac surgery, or a chronic cardiac condition. Exploratory factor analysis will be used to identify the underlying factors, and Rasch analysis will be used to reduce the number of items. A short form version of the FCRP will be developed for use as a brief screening tool, informed by clinical relevance and Rasch psychometric ***: While many cardiac patients experience fears related to the progression or recurrence of their illness, there remains the need for a validated tool with which these concerns can be identified and measured. It is expected that the design and validation of the FCRP will aid identification of cardiac patients suffering from clinically significant levels of fear of progression and recurrence and facilitate the design of tailored psychological interventions to target these fears.
