AIM:To characterize the patients utilizing a gastroenterology behavioral medicine service and examine the effect of treatment on health care ***:Patients were referred by their gastroenterologists for psychological treatment during a15 mo *** seen for an intake with a psychologist completed the Brief Symptom Inventory(BSI)and a checklist of psychosocial concerns.A subset of patients with functional bowel disorders also completed a disease specific quality of life *** review was conducted to obtain information on type and frequency of sessions with the psychologist,the number of outpatient gastroenterology visits,and number of gastroenterology-related medical procedures during the 6 mo following psychological ***:Of 259 patients referred for treatment,118(46%)completed an intake with a *** included:irritable bowel syndrome(42%),functional dyspepsia(20%),inflammatory bowel diseases(20%),esophageal symptoms(10%),and"other"(8%).Demographic variables and disease type did not differentiate between those who did and did not schedule an *** t-scores for the BSI global score index and the depression,anxiety,and somatization subscales fell below the cutoff for clinical significance(t=63).Treatments were predominantly gut-directed hypnosis(48%)and cognitive behavioral therapy(44%).Average length of treatment was 4 *** functional gastrointestinal(GI)patients,those patients who initiated treatment received significantly fewer GI-related medical procedures during the 6 mo following the referral than patients who did not schedule an intake[t(197)=2.69,Pal interventions for GI conditions and there is preliminary evidence that treatment can decrease health-care utilization among patients with functional GI conditions.

Reading and writing are the main interaction methods with web *** simplification tools are helpful for people with cognitive impairments,new language learners,and children as they might find difficulties in understanding the complex web *** simplification is the process of changing complex text intomore readable and understandable *** recent approaches to text simplification adopted the machine translation concept to learn simplification rules from a parallel corpus of complex and simple *** this paper,we propose two models based on the transformer which is an encoder-decoder structure that achieves state-of-the-art(SOTA)results in machine *** training process for our model includes three steps:preprocessing the data using a subword tokenizer,training the model and optimizing it using the Adam optimizer,then using the model to decode the *** first model uses the transformer only and the second model uses and integrates the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer(BERT)as encoder to enhance the training time and *** performance of the proposed model using the transformerwas evaluated using the Bilingual Evaluation Understudy score(BLEU)and recorded(53.78)on the WikiSmall *** the other hand,the experiment on the second model which is integrated with BERT shows that the validation loss decreased very fast compared with the model without the ***,the BLEU score was small(44.54),which could be due to the size of the dataset so the model was overfitting and unable to generalize ***,in the future,the second model could involve experimenting with a larger dataset such as the *** addition,more analysis has been done on the model’s results and the used dataset using different evaluation metrics to understand their performance.

Controversy regarding the species problem has been going on for many decades and no consensus has ever been reached about what a“species”really is and how best to define the *** Queiroz(1998)introduced a distinction between two aspects of this problem:on the one hand,the definition proper,and on the other,the criteria allowing biologists to recognize species in *** distinction is a first step on the way toward a solution of the *** the present paper,we show that de Queiroz’s distinction is made possible by the radical theoretical change introduced by *** emphasize that the species problem did not appear in the 20th century,but long before,and that Darwin addresses it indirectly in the Origin of *** might seem paradoxical to refer to Darwin’s views about species,because they are usually considered as ***,we propose that an analysis of these views in the context of Darwin’s own theory of evolution might reveal how a definition of the concept of species is made possible by being anchored to the very theory of *** this aim,we present a plausible reconstruction of Darwin’s implicit conception of species and show how this conception fits with the debates on species that took place in the 18th and 19th *** then turn to today’s biology and show what changes Darwin’s implicit conception of species has brought about relative to the species concept and species delimitation.

A number of mathematical modelling techniques exist which are used to measure the performance of a given system, by assessing each individual component within the system. This can be used to determine the failure frequency or probability of the system. Software is available to undertake the task of analysing these mathematical models after an individual or group of individuals manually create the models. The process of generating these models is time consuming and reduces the impact of the model on the system design. One way to improve this would be to generate the model automatically. In this work, the procedure to automatically construct a model, based on Petri nets, for systems undergoing a phased-mission is applied to a pressure tank system, undertaking a four phase mission.

Early Jurassic Coleopterans from the Mintaja Insect Locality,Western Australia

Beetles （Coleoptera） are the most common insects recovered from the Lower Jurassic Mintaja insect locality of Western Australia, with over half of the fossils recorded from this site being isolated coleopteran elytra. A range of partial beetle bodies and other isolated beetle sclerites have also been recovered from the locality; much of this material is taxonomically unidenitifiable due to its disarticulation and poor preservation. A number of the Mintaja coleopterans are assigned to the archostematan family Ommatidae, including Zygadenia westraliensis （Riek, 1968） comb. nov, previously placed in the morphogenus Mesothoris, and an unnamed species of Tetraphalerus. also recorded is a new species of elaterid, Lithomerus wunda sp. nov., along with other fragments likely attributable to the same family. The remaining material is assigned into morphospecies, separated primarily on preserved body parts - specifically, there are three morphospecies based on partially articulated coleopteran bodies, two morphospecies based on isolated head capsules, three morphospecies based on isolated thoracic sclerites, three morphospecies based on isolated abdominal sclerites, and 13 morphospecies based on isolated elytra. Overall, the ecology of these fossils is difficult to interpret due to poor preservation, although some of the beetles were likely aquatic, and the Ommatidae and Elateridae were both likely xylophilous. There is a strong similarity between the Mintaja coleopterans and those from the Late Triassic Denmark Hill locality of Queensland, though many of these similarities are based on morphotaxa and may be superficial in nature. Of the species that have been assigned to named taxa, all are generally typical of the Late Mesozoic worldwide, with Zygadenia, Tetraphalerus and Lithomerus all long-ranging, cosmopolitan genera.
