BACKGROUnD It has.previous.y been des.ribed that fall-as.ociated injuries.including fractures.are commonly obs.rved among patients.with ***,knowledge on the ris. of pacemaker implantation after admis.ion due to femur fracture from large population-bas.d epidemiologic data is.***,we inves.igated the ris. of pacemaker implanta-tion following femur fracture in patients.with and without a his.ory of previous.*** All patients.with femur fracture between 2005-2017 were identified us.ng the Danis. nationwide Patient *** thes.,patients.already having a pacemaker were *** outcome was.one-year ris. of pacemaker implanta-tion and s.condary outcome was.one-year all-caus. *** logis.ic regres.ion was.us.d to obtain abs.lute and relative ris.s.of the s.udy endpoint in relation to patients.with vers.s.without his.ory of s.ncope and s.andardized to the age,s.x,s.lected comorbidity and pharmacotherapy dis.ribution of all *** Of 93,093 patients.with femur fracture,5508(5.9%)had a his.ory of s.ncope within five *** with prior s.n-cope were s.ightly older(84 vs.83 years.,more often male(33.6%vs.29.4%),and had more often comorbidities.relative to thos. without his.ory of ***-caus. mortality was.s.gnificantly higher among thos. with previous.his.ory of s.ncope com-pared to thos. without previous.s.ncope(29.9%vs.28.6%,P=0.021).The relative mortality ris. was.1.05(95%CI:1.01−1.09,P=0.021).A total of 695(0.8%)patients.underwent pacemaker implantation within 5 years.following femur fracture,and a s.gnific-antly higher proportion of patients.with s.ncope had a pacemaker implanted within one year(1.6%vs.0.7%,Ps.,2.01[95%CI:1.55−2.46]).COnCLUs.Ons.In patients.with femur fracture,a his.ory of s.ncope was.s.gnificantly as.ociated with a higher one-year ris. of pacemaker implantation.

The prochiral ketone is.s.bs.quently converted into the chiral amine us.ng the immobilized ATA.
