BACKGROUND Pri.ary sclerosi.g cholangi.i.(PSC)mani.ests wi.hi. a broad ethni. and raci.l spectrum,reflecti.g di.ferent levels of access to health *** To evaluate the cli.i.al profi.e,compli.ati.ns and survi.al rates of pati.nts wi.h PSC undergoi.g li.er transplantati.n(LTx)at a Brazi.i.n reference *** All pati.nts di.gnosed wi.h PSC before or after LTx were *** medi.al records were revi.wed for demographi. and cli.i.al vari.bles,i.cludi.g outcomes and *** level of stati.ti.al si.ni.i.ance was set at Phort represented 1.6%(n=34)of the 2113 pati.nts recei.i.g li.er grafts at our servi.e over the past two *** were male(n=19;56%).The average age(40±14 years)was si.i.ar for men and women(P=0.347).The mean follow-up ti.e from di.gnosi. to LTx was 68 *** pati.nts had the classi. form of *** women had PSC/autoi.mune hepati.i. overlap syndrome,and one pati.nt had small-duct *** phosphatase levels at di.gnosi. and pre-LTx model for end-stage li.er *** were si.ni.i.antly hi.her i. *** bowel research(i.D)was i.vesti.ated by colonoscopy i. 26/34(76%)and was present i. most cases(18/26;69%).i.D was less common i. women than i. men(44.4%vs.55.6%)(P=0.692).Cholangi.carci.oma(CCA)was di.gnosed i. 2/34(5.9%)pati.nts by hi.topathology of the explant(survi.al:3 years 6 mo,and 4 years 11 mo).Two pati.nts had compli.ati.ns requi.i.g a second LTx(one after 7 d due to hepati. artery thrombosi. and one after 17 d due to pri.ary graft dysfuncti.n).Fi.e pati.nts(14.7%)developed bi.i.ry *** overall medi.n post-LTx survi.al was 66 *** deaths occurred i. the fi.st year(i.fecti.n n=2,pri.ary li.er graft dysfuncti.n n=3,unknown cause n=1).The 1-year and 5-year survi.al rates of thi. cohort were 82.3%and 70.6%,respecti.ely,matchi.g the mean overall survi.al rates of LTx pati.nts at our center(87.1%and 69.43%,respecti.ely)(P=0.83).CONCLUSi.N Survi.al after 1 and 5 years was si.i.

Ai.:To determi.e the i.ci.ence of peri.heral fractures i. pati.nts wi.h celi.c di.ease (CD) and the effect of treatment on fracture ***:We compared the i.ci.ence and ri.k of peri.heral fractures before and after di.gnosi. between a cohort of 265 pati.nts who had been di.gnosed wi.h CD at least 5 years before study entry and a cohort of 530 age-and sex-matched controls who had been di.gnosed wi.h functi.nal gastroi.testi.al *** were collected through i.-person i.tervi.ws wi.h an *** overall assessment wi.dow for pati.nts was 9843 pati.nt-years (2815 pati.nt-years after di.gnosi.).RESULTS:Compared wi.h the control group,the CD cohort showed si.ni.i.antly hi.her i.ci.ence rate and ri.k of fi.st peri.heral fracture before di.gnosi. [adjusted hazard rati. (hR):1.78,95% Ci.1.23-2.56,P i. men (hR:2.67,95% Ci.1.37-5.22,P i.k was si.ni.i.antly associ.ted wi.h the classi. Ai.： To evaluate the safety and feasi.i.i.y of bone marrow cell （BMC） transplantati.n i. pati.nts wi.h chroni. li.er di.ease on the wai.i.g li.t for li.er transplantati.n. METhODS： Ten pati.nts （ei.ht males） wi.h chroni. li.er di.ease were enrolled to recei.e i.fusi.n of autologous bone marrow-deri.ed cells. Seven pati.nts were classi.i.d as Chi.d-Pugh B and three as Chi.d-Pugh C. Baseli.e assessment i.cluded complete cli.i.al and laboratory evaluati.n and abdomi.al MRi. Approxi.ately 50 mL of bone marrow aspi.ate was prepared by centri.ugati.n i. a fi.oll-hypaque gradi.nt. At least of 100 mi.li.ns of mononuclear-enri.hed BMCs were i.fused i.to the hepati. artery usi.g the routi.e techni.ue for arteri.l chemoemboli.ati.n for li.er tumors. Pati.nts were followed up for adverse events up to 4 mo. RESULTS： The medi.n age of the pati.nts was 52 years （range 24-70 years）. All pati.nts were di.charged 48 h after BMC i.fusi.n. Two pati.nts complai.ed ofmi.d pai. at the bone marrow needle puncture si.e. No other compli.ati.ns or speci.i. si.e effects related to the procedure were observed. Bi.i.ubi. levels were lower at 1 （2.19 ± 0.9） and 4 mo （2.10 ± 1.0） after cell transplantati.n that baseli.e levels （238 ± 1.2）. Albumi. levels 4 mo after BMC i.fusi.n （3.73 ± 0.5） were hi.her than baseli.e levels （3.47 ± 0.5）. i.ternati.nal normali.ed rati. （i.R） decreased from 1.48 （SD = 0.23） to 1.43 （SD = 0.23） one month after cell transplantati.n. CONCLUSi.N： BMC i.fusi.n i.to hepati. artery of pati.nts wi.h advanced chroni. li.er di.ease i. safe and feasi.le. i. addi.i.n, a decrease i. mean serum bi.i.ubi. and i.R levels and an i.crease i. albumi. levels are observed. Our data warrant further studi.s i. order to evaluate the effect of BMC transplantati.n i. pati.nts wi.h advanced chroni. li.er di.ease.

Fe-based metalli. glasses(MGs)have shown great commerci.l values due to thei. excellent soft magneti. *** predi.ti.n wi.h consi.erati.n of glass formi.g abi.i.y(GFA)i. of great si.ni.i.cance for developi.g novel functi.nal Fe-based ***,theori.s or models establi.hed based on condensed matter physi.s exhi.i. li.i.ed accuracy and some *** thi. work,based on 618 Fe-based MGs samples collected from publi.hed works,machi.e learni.g(ML)models were well trai.ed to predi.t saturated magneti.ati.n(B_(s))of Fe-based *** was treated as a feature usi.g the experi.ental data of the supercooled li.ui. regi.n(△T_(x)).Three ML algori.hms,namely eXtreme gradi.nt boosti.g(XGBoost),arti.i.i.l neural networks(ANN)and random forest(RF),were *** feature selecti.n and hyperparameter tuni.g,XGBoost showed the best predi.ti.e performance on the randomly spli. test dataset wi.h determi.ati.n coeffi.i.nt(R^(2))of 0.942,mean absolute percent error(MAPE)of 5.563%,and root mean squared error(RMSE)of 0.078 T.A vari.ty of feature i.portance ranki.gs deri.ed by XGBoost models showed that T_(x) played an i.portant role i. the predi.ti.e performance of the *** work showed the proposed ML method can si.ultaneously aggregate GFA and other features i. ther-modynami.s,ki.eti.s and structures to predi.t the magneti. properti.s of Fe-based MGs wi.h excellent accuracy.

Thi. arti.le ai.ed to revi.w the current role and status of vari.us techni.ues of hepati. vascular occlusi.n duri.g hepati. resecti.n. DATA SOURCES: The relevant manuscri.ts were i.enti.i.d by searchi.g MEDLi.E, and PubMed for arti.les publi.hed between January 1980 and Apri. 2010 usi.g the keywords 'vascular control', 'vascular clampi.g', 'vascular exclusi.n' and 'hepatectomy'. Addi.i.nal papers were i.enti.i.d by a manual search of the references from the key arti.les. RESULTS: One randomi.ed controlled tri.l (RCT) and 5 RCTs showed i.termi.tent Pri.gle maneuver and i.chemi. precondi.i.ni.g followed by conti.uous Pri.gle maneuver were superi.r to conti.uous Pri.gle maneuver alone, respecti.ely. Two RCTs compared the outcomes of hepatectomy wi.h and wi.hout i.termi.tent Pri.gle maneuver. One showed Pri.gle maneuver to be benefi.i.l, whi.e the other fai.ed to show any benefi.. One RCT showed that i.chemi. precondi.i.ni.g had si.ni.i.antly less blood loss than usi.g i.termi.tent Pri.gle maneuver. Four RCTs evaluated the use of hemi.epati. vascular occlusi.n. One RCT showed i. had si.ni.i.antly less blood loss than Pri.gle maneuver, whi.e the other 3 showed no si.ni.i.ant di.ference. Only 1 RCT showed i. had si.ni.i.antly less li.er i.chemi. i.jury. No RCT had been carri.d out to assess segmental vascular occlusi.n. Two RCTs compared the outcomes of total hepati. vascular exclusi.n (ThVE) and Pri.gle maneuver. One RCT showed ThVE resulted i. si.i.ar blood loss, but a hi.her postoperati.e compli.ati.n. The other RCT showed less blood loss usi.g ThVE but the postoperati.e compli.ati.n rate was si.i.ar. Fi.st, the Urals blocki.g pattern i.dex （UBi. i. closely related to cold ai. advecti.n from the hi.h lati.udes towards western Si.eri., such that i. shows an i.pli.i. li.kage wi.h the Si.eri.n hi.h i.tensi.y and the surface ai. temperature （SAT） vari.ti.ns north of 40°N i. the EAWM regi.n. Second, the well-known western Paci.i. teleconnecti.n i.dex （WPi. i. connected wi.h the meri.i.nal di.placement of the East Asi.n jet stream and the East Asi.n trough. Thi. i. strongly related to the SAT vari.ti.ns i. the coastal area south of 40°N i. the EAWM regi.n. The temperature vari.ti.n i. the EAWM regi.n i. also represented by the two domi.ant temperature modes, whi.h are called the northern temperature mode （NTM） and the southern temperature mode （STM）. Compared to 19 exi.ti.g EAWMi. and other well-known teleconnecti.n patterns, the UBi.shows the strongest correlati.n wi.h the NTM, whi.e the WPi.shows an equally strong correlati.n wi.h the STM as four EAWMi.. The UBi.NTM and WPi.STM relati.nshi.s are robust when the correlati.n analysi. i. repeated by （1） the 31-year runni.g correlati.n and （2） the 8-year hi.h-pass and low-pass fi.ter. hence, these results are useful for analyzi.g the large-scale teleconnecti.ns of the EAWM and for evaluati.g thi. i.sue i. cli.ate models. i.t parti.ular, more studi.s should focus on the teleconnecti.n patterns over extratropi.al Eurasi..
