One of today＇s major challenges is to provide green materials for a cleaner environment. We have conducted studies on carbon dioxide（CO2） adsorption and conversion to valuable products by an ecofriendly approach based in chitosan/graphene oxide（CSGO） nanocomposite film. rheological behavior indicates that the CSGO has a better solvation property than the pure chitosan. An adsorption capacity of 1.0152 mmol CO2/g of CSGO nanocomposite at4.6 bar was observed. The catalytic behavior of the CSGO nanocomposite in the presence of tetra-n-butylammonium iodide（n-Bu4 NI） as co-catalyst was evaluated for the cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides, to give cyclic carbonates, in the absence of any solvent. These results strongly suggest that the CSGO nanocomposite may open new vistas towards the development of ecofriendly material for catalytic conversion and adsorption of CO2 on industrial scale.

Melting of subducting oceanic lithosphere and associated melt-mantle interactions in convergent plate margins require specific geodynamic environment that allows the oceanic slab to be abnormally *** we focus on the Early Mesozoic mafic rocks and granite porphyry,which provide insights into slab melting processes associated with final closure of the Paleo-Asian *** granite porphyry samples are calc-alkaline and distinguished by high Sr contents,strong depletion of heavy rare earth elements,resulting in high(La/Yb);and Sr/Y ratios,and negligible Eu *** on their high na_(2)O and Mg O,low K_(2)O contents,positiveε_(Hf)(t)andε_(Nd)(t)and low(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)ivalues,we propose that the granite porphyry was likely derived from partial melting of subducting Paleo-Asian oceanic *** Nb-enriched mafic rocks are enriched in rb,Th,U,Pb and K,and depleted in Nb,Ta,Ba,P and Ti,corroborating a subduction-related *** heterogeneous Sr-Nd-Hf-O isotopic compositions and other geochemical features suggest that they were likely derived from partial melting of peridotitic mantle wedge interacted with oceanic slab-derived adakitic *** element and isotope modeling results and elevated zirconδ^(18)O values suggest variable subducting sediments input into the mantle wedge,dominated by terrigenous *** the widely-developed bimodal rock associations,conjugated dikes,thermal metamorphism,tectonic characteristics,paleomagnetic constraints,and paleogeographical evidence along the Solonke-Changchun suture zone,we identify a slab window triggered by slab break-off,which accounts for slab melting and formation of the Nb-enriched mafic rocks and associated adakitic granite porphyry in southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt.

Video inpainting is a technique that fills in the missing regions or gaps in a video by using its known *** existing video inpainting algorithms are computationally expensive and introduce seam in the target region that arises due to variation in brightness or contrast of the *** overcome these drawbacks,the authors propose a novel two-stage *** the first step,sub-bands of wavelets of a low-resolution image are obtained using the dualtree complex wavelet *** algorithm and auto-regression technique are then applied to these subbands to inpaint the missing *** fuzzy logic-based histogram equalisation is used to further enhance the image by preserving the image brightness and improve the local *** the second step,the image is enhanced using super-resolution *** process of down-sampling,inpainting and subsequently enhancing the video using the super-resolution technique reduces the video inpainting *** framework is tested on video sequences by comparing and analysing the structural similarity index matrix,peak-signal-to-noise ratio,visual information fidelity in pixel domain and execution time with the state-of-the-art *** experimental analysis gives visually pleasing results for object removal and error concealment.

Two-dimensional(2D)semiconducting materials and transition-metal oxides are promising materials for nonvolatile memory and brain-inspired neuromorphic computing ***,it remains chal-lenging to obtain high-quality stacked 2D films with low energy consumptions(or drive currents)be-cause of their high interfacial *** this study,we synthesized 2D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene-derived three-dimensional(3D)TiO_(2)nanoflowers(NFs)as a feasible resistive switching(rS)material with outstanding electronic properties and synaptic learning *** electrical and optical characteristics of the synthesized material were determined through density functional theory *** measure-ments of the Al/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-TiO_(2)NF/Pt memory device indicated the occurrence of forming-free switching phenomena with extremely low switching voltages(0.68-0.53 V),stable ON/OFF ratio(2.3×103),and retention greater than 105 *** Holt-Winters exponential smoothing technique was used for mod-eling and predicting the switching voltages of the rS *** mechanism underlying the reliable rS was confirmed by observing the dense conductive filaments through conductive atomic force ***,the 2D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene-derived 3D TiO_(2)NF-based rS device mimicked the po-tentiation/depression and spike-time-dependent plasticity of a biological ***,a convolutional neural network was implemented based on the observed synaptic weights of Al/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-TiO_(2)NF/Pt for image-edge detection.

Subacute posttraumatic ascending myelopathy is a rare disorder, unrelated to syrinx formation or mechanical instability, which may gradually emerge within the first 1-2 weeks after a spinal cord injury and may lead to diagnostic and prognostic dilemmas. We present a case of 24-year-old female with unstable wedge compression fracture of L 1 vertebrae with signal changes in the upper lumbar cord causing complete paraplegia below D 9 with bladder and bowel involvement. In the subsequent week, she developed a delayed progressively increasing neurological deficit with cord signal abnormality on MrI extending cephalad from the injury site to the upper dorsal cord. The patient had no initial clinical improvement initially but showed a delayed recovery over months.

Homoisoflavonoids are in the subclass of the larger family of flavonoids having one more alkyl carbon than flavonoids. Among them, 8-C-Methylated homoisoflavones have not been extensively studied for synthesis and biological evaluation. Author’s current objective is to synthesize 8-C-Methylated homoisoflavones by the reaction of 3-C-methylated dihydrochalcones with N,N’-dimethyl (chloromethylene) ammonium chloride generated in situ from DMF and PCl5 for one carbon extension at about room temperature. The 3-C-methylated dihydrochalcones were synthesized by the reduction of 3-C-methylated chalcones, which were prepared from 3-C-methylated acetophenones and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of base. All the synthesized novel homoisoflavones’s structures were characterized by NMr and Tandem Mass Spectrometry.

The present paper deals with the study of equilibrium positions of the motion of a system of two artificial satellites connected by a light, flexible, inextensible and non-conducting cable under the influence of solar radiation pressure, earth’s oblateness, shadow of the earth and air resistance. Here, we study the case of circular orbit of the centre of mass of the system. We derive differential equations of motion of the system. General solutions of the differential equations are beyond the reach. On the other hand, the general solutions do not serve our purpose. Jacobian integral of the system has also been obtained. Thereafter equilibrium positions of the motion of the system have been obtained.

Infectious diseases caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) remain the leading killers of human beings worldwide, and function to destabilize societies in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Driven by the need to detect the presence of HIV viral sequence, here we demonstrate that the second order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of gold nanorods can be used for screening HIV-1 viral Dna sequence without any modification, with good sensitivity (100 pico-molar) and selectivity (single base pair mismatch). The hyper rayleigh Scattering (HrS) intensity increases 58 times when label-free 145-mer, ss-gag gene Dna, was hybridized with 100 pM target Dna. The mechanism of HrS intensity change has been discussed with experimental evidence for higher multipolar contribution to the NLO response of gold nanorods.

Aim:The present in silico study aimed to evaluate the ATP-binding cassette(ABC)transporter inhibition potential of Bulbine frutescens(***)***:Several previous studies and databases were used to retrieve the ligands and target protein *** molecular docking study was performed using the Auto Dock Tools,and the GrOMACS package was applied to accomplish molecular dynamics ***:Utilizing the molecular docking and simulation approach,~25 phytochemicals were screened against the ABC transporter *** score analysis revealed that *** phytochemical 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside exhibited strong binding on the ABC transporter protein with a minimum binding score-9.8 kcal/mol in comparison to the standard ABC transporter inhibitor diltiazem(-6.86 kcal/mol).Furthermore,molecular dynamics simulation for 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside showed an acceptable root mean square deviation,radius of gyration,root mean square fluctuation,and hydrogen bond,in addition to other lead ***:The in-silico study demonstrated that *** phytochemical 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside possesses anti-drug resistance properties and requires further testing in preclinical settings.
