Continental reconstructions in Central Asia are represented by orogenesis along some large orogenic belts in the Altaid collage （Fig. 1 ） or Central Asian Orogenic Belt （CAOB）, which separate the East European and Siberian cratons to the north from the Tarim and North China cratons to the south （$eng0r et al,, 1993; Jahn et al., 2004; Windley et al., 2007; Qu et al., 2008; Xiao et al., 2010; Xiao and santosh, 2014）. The Altaid Collage was characterized by complex long tectonic and structural evolution from at least ca. 1.0 Ga to late Paleozoic-early Mesozoic with considerable continental growth （Khain et al., 2002; Jahn et al., 2004; Xiao et al., 2009, 2014; KrOner et al., 2014）, followed by Cenozoic intracontinental evolution related to far-field effect of the collision of the In- dian Plate to the Eurasian Accompanying with these complex world-class ore deposits developed 2001; Goldfarb et al., 2003, 2014）. Plate （Cunningham, 2005）. geodynamic evolutions, many （Qin, 2000; Yakubchuk et al,2001; Goldfarb et al., 2003, 2014）.

Objective:Andrographis paniculata is a well-known medicinal plant in Southeast Asia,India and *** plant contains andrographolide(AN),a very important phytochemical used in various health ***,AN is low in oral absorption bioavailability of AN due to the rapid clearance and high protein binding ***:The present study was aimed to develop a nano-phytovesicular formulation of semi-purified AN extracts from a naturally occurring phospholipid(soya phosphatidylcholine)in order to increase the oral absorption and antihyperglycemic activity in ***:The nano-phyto vesicle of semi-purified AN extracts equivalent to 25 mg/kg AN significantly protected the hyperglycemic condition of *** in vitro and in vivo experiments results proved that the nano-phytovesicular system of plant extracts containing AN produced better oral absorption,bioavailability and improved antihyperglycemic activity compared with that of free AN at dose of 50 mg/***:Hence,the prepared semi-purified extract nano-phytovesicular system is helpful in solving the problem of rapid clearance of AN.

The effect of an external electric field on the bandgap is observed for two proposed heterostructures graphitic carbon nitride-graphene-hexagonal boron nitride(g-C_3N_4/G/h-BN) in hexagonal stack(AAA) and graphene-graphitic carbon nitridehexagonal boron nitride(G/g-C_3N_4/h-BN) in Bernal stack(ABA). Their inter-layer distance, binding energy and effective mass has also been calculated. The structure optimization has been done by density functional theory(DFT) with van der Waals corrections. The inter-layer distance, bandgap, binding energy and effective mass has been listed for these heterostructures and compared with that of bilayer graphene(BLG), graphene-hexagonal boron nitride(G/h-BN) hetero-bilayer, graphene-graphitic carbon nitride(G/g-C_3N_4) hetero-bilayer and graphitic carbon nitride-graphene-graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_3N_4/G/g-C_3N_4) heterostructure in Bernal and hexagonal stack. g-C_3N_4/G/h-BN is found to offer lower effective mass and larger bandgap opening among the considered heterostructures.

In order to understand the tribological behavior of red mud composite coatings, the red mud and composite materials like fly ash, carbon and aluminum are being plasma sprayed. The coatings are investigated to know their morphological behavior and erosion wear characteristics. Plasma spraying is done at different plasma arc current like 200, 250, 300 and 400 amperes. Torch input powers maintained as 6, 9, 12 and 16 KW. The substrates chose are rectangular in shape having a dimension of 50 mm × 25 mm × 2 mm. commercially available aluminum, copper, mild steel and stainless steel being used as substrate. room temperature solid particle erosion trials are carried out using a compressed air blasting type rig under impact angles of 30o, 60o and 90o. The present investigation uses an erosion apparatus of Sand Blast type. The test is conducted as per ASTMG-76 standards. It is analyzed that initially the cumulative coating mass loss increases rapidly and later on becomes almost stagnant. A transient regime in the erosion process exists, during which the incremental erosion rate decreases monotonically down to a steady state erosion rate.

Influence of rising Atmospheric CO<sub>2</sub>Concentrations and Temperature on Morpho-Physiological Traits and Yield of rice Genotypes in Sub Humid Climate of Eastern India

A possible scenario for the end of the 21st century is that the atmospheric CO2 concentration will be in the range of 510 - 760 μl·L-I and that the mean global temperature will be 1.5°C - 4.5°C higher than present day. One of the pre-eminent manifestations of climate change is the increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration. Both CO2 and temperature are the key variables of global climate and may cause significant changes in crop productivity. An experiment was conducted inside open top chamber (OTCs) in kharif season 2014 to evaluate the effects of CO2 enrichment and temperature rise with condition OTC1 (ambient condition), OTC2 (25% higher CO2 than ambient), OTC3 (25% higher CO2 + 2°C >ambient temperature) and OTC4 (2°C >ambient temperature) on physiological traits and yield of rice genotypes to identify the suitable genotypes for changing climatic conditions. The study revealed that rice genotypes performed better under elevated CO2, with slight changes in development, such as growth and in yield attributing traits, depending on the genotypes. However, the beneficial direct impact of elevated (CO2) on crop yield can be counteract by elevated temperatures. rice genotype Ir83376-B-B-24-2 was highly responsive while Ir84895-B-127-CrA-5-1-1 was least responsive toward elevated CO2. Physiological traits like relative water content (rWC %), membrane stability index (MSI %), chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate and TSS content were improved under elevated CO2. However, responses of these traits were negative with elevated temperature. We point out that studies related to changes in crop physiology and yield as a consequence of global climatic changes should be a priority due to their association with food security.

Acute otitis media with facial nerve palsy: our experiences at a tertiary care teaching hospital of eastern India

Objective:To assess acute otitis media with facial nerve paralysis,its prognosis,and ***:It is a retrospective *** patients of acute otitis media associated with facial nerve paralysis attended the outpatient department of otorhinolaryngology between May 2017 and April *** patients were clinically assessed with appropriate investigations,prognosis,and ***:Out of 13 patients,2 were identified with complete facial paralysis and the remaining 11 patients presented with incomplete *** treatment including antibiotics and corticosteroids failed,while myringotomy and facial nerve decompression were done with a favorable *** patients recovered to grade-Ⅰ (House-Brackmann) and 2 cases to grade-Ⅱ (House-Brackmann).Conclusion:Peripheral facial nerve paralysis in acute otitis media is *** and steroids yield good outcome as conservative *** case of failure by conservative treatment,facial nerve decompression yields a favorable outcome.

Permo-Triassic high-pressure metamorphism in the central western Korean Peninsula, and its link to Paleo-Tethyan Ocean closure: Key issues revisited

Permo-Triassic high-pressure(HP) mafic granulites, together with the Bibong retrogressed eclogite,preserved along the central western Korean Peninsula provide important insights into the Late Permian to Triassic collisional orogeny in northeast Asia. The metamorphic pressureetemperatureetime(P-T-t)paths of these rocks, however, remain poorly constrained and even overestimated, owing to outdated geothermobarometers and inaccurate isopleth techniques. Here we evaluate the metamorphic Pe T conditions of Triassic HP mafic granulites including those in Baekdong, Sinri and Daepan and the Bibong Triassic retrogressed eclogite in the Hongseong area, and the Permo-Triassic Samgot mafic granulite in the Imjingang Belt of the central western Korean Peninsula through the application of modern phase equilibria techniques. The Baekdong and Samgot mafic granulites and the Bibong retrogressed eclogite yield a range of 12.0 -16.0 kbar and 800 -900℃, representing HP granulite facies conditions. The Sinri and Daepan granulites from the Hongseong area show relatively lower grade metamorphic conditions between HP granulite and normal granulite facies, and are characterized by sub-isothermal decompression during exhumation. The similarities in the metamorphic ages and the post-collisional igneous activity from the central western Korean Peninsula indicate that the Triassic ages represent the retrograde stage of the metamorphic Pe T paths. In contrast, the Late Permian metamorphic ages, which are older than protolith ages of the post-collisional igneous rocks, correspond to the possible prograde stage of metamorphism. The P-T-t paths presented in this paper, together with the metamorphic ages and post-orogenic igneous events reported from these areas suggest trace of the subduction, accretion and exhumation history, and indicate a tectonic linkage among the northeast Asian continents during the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean closure.

Blackgram, an important legume crop, faces the constraint of Mungbean yellow mosaic India virus (MYMIV)-stress resulting in severe crop penalty. MYMIV-resistant plants exhibit incompatible response via a cognate CYr1 gene-mediated interaction with virus effector molecule. In this study, we searched for the susceptible allele of the “r” gene in Cv. T9. Southern hybridization study confirmed presence of an allele in Cv. T9. However, transcripts of the CYr1 could not be detected either by rT-PCr or by Northern hybridization in Cv. T9 and also in other susceptible blackgram line. The allele was isolated, sequenced and referred as cyr1. In silico study revealed that cyr1 also encodes a CC-NBS-Lrr protein like CYr1. However the CC domain of cyr1 is truncated by 128 amino acid residues indicating functional impairment with respect to the signal transduction after pathogen invasion. Comparative 3D structural modeling, hydrogen bonding and Van der Waals interaction studies revealed differences between CYr1 and cyr1. Lys519 and Thr490 present in the largest pockets of the CYr1 are the key interacting hotspots between CYr1 and MYMIV coat protein (CP). The weak Van der Waals interactions and intermolecular hydrogen bonding between cyr1 and CP confers less stability to the molecular recognition complex, unlike CYr1. Thus, the present investigation revealed Cv. T9 shows compatible interaction with MYMIV due to the truncation in the cyr1 sequence and consequent structural difference in the N-terminal of CC-domain.

recovery of Iron Values from Waste Manganiferous Iron Ore Fines for Pellet Making

A large volume of overburden and mine wastes is generated during the extraction and beneficiation of the low grade ores. The waste low grade manganiferous iron ore fine from southern part of India was studied for recovery of iron values. The chemical assay of the sample is 52.36% Fe, 4.75% Mn, 8.5% SiO2 and 2.82% Al2O3. The characterization study of the sample indicates the presence of microplaty hematite, goethite, pyrolusite, cryptomelane with minor amount of quartz and kaolinite. The beneficiation study of the sample does not respond to the conventional route of desliming the ground feed followed by gravity separation and magnetic separation. Therefore, an alternative technique of reduction roasting using a producer gas was attempted at different conditions. The characterization of roasted product reveals the phase transformation to magnetite and microplaty magnetite. The low intensity magnetic separation conducted with the roasted products generated at optimal condition shows that 70% concentrate having 64.5% Fe and 1.87% Mn could be produced. The high manganese in the concentrate works as an additive for making pellet with enhancement in pellet strength and drop in reducibility. Utilization of mines waste has significant impact on mineral resources and environmental hazard.
