Cell based therapy aides in infection and inflammation resolution in the murine model of cystic fibrosis lung disease

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetically inherited disease which is characterized by excessive inflammation and inability to resolve infection with pathogens such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Treatment options have improved with correctors and potentiators, but a cure remains elusive. Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) have the potential to be both anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, which mak.s them ideal candidates for exploration as an innovative new therapeutic for CF. Using a sublethal CF mouse model of chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection, we show that hMSCs and wild type bone marrow derived macrophages (BMM) have the capacity to attenuate inflammation while at the same time improving the ability to resolve infection. Animals infected with bacteria and treated with hMSCs and BMM had less weight lost, decreased pro-inflammatory cytok.nes, decreased severity of gross lung pathology as well as clinical score. Importantly, even though the inflammation was decreased in vivo, both BMM and hMSC treatment resulted in significant decrease in lung bacterial load. The improvement in the CF model was consistent with hMSC induced anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial activity which may involve the cathelicidin LL-37. These studies suggest that both healthy MSCs and BMM may provide important new direction toward cell based therapies in CF.

The masses of pion and sigma meson modes,along with their dissociation in the quark.medium,provide detailed spectral structures of the chiral *** has been observed in pA and pp systems both at LHC and *** this research,we studied the restoration of chiral symmetry by investigating the finite size effect on the detailed structure of chiral partners in the framework.of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio *** diffusion and conduction have been studied using this dissociation *** is determined that the masses,widths,diffusion coefficients,and conductivities of chiral partners merge at different temperatures in the restoration phase of chiral ***,merging points are shifted to lower temperatures when finite size effect is introduced into the *** strengths of diffusions and conductions are also reduced once the finite size is introduced in the calculations.

A Study of Differential Gene Expression and Core Canonical Pathways Involved in Rhenium Ligand Treated Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) Induced A549 Lung Cancer Cell Lines by INGENUITY Software System

Rhenium compounds have shown anti-cancer properties against many different types of cancer cell lines;however, the cellular signaling mechanisms involved in the cytotoxic properties of rhenium-based compounds were never deciphered or reported. In this manuscript, we report the results of an investigation done by RNA sequencing of rhenium treated A549 lung cancer cell lines along with an untreated vehicular control, analyzed by the Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) software system to decipher the core canonical pathways involved in rhenium induced cancer cell death. A549 EMT lung cancer cell lines were treated with rhenium ligand (Tricarbonylperrhenato(bathocuproine)rhenium(I), PR7) for seven days along with vehicular control. RNA was isolated from the treated and control cells and sequenced by a commercial company (PrimBio Corporation). The RNA sequencing data was analyzed by the INGNUITY software system and the core canonical pathways involved with differential gene expression were identified. Our report is showing that there are several cellular pathways involved in inducing cell death by rhenium-based compound PR7.
