This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption（BSFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,NOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.

Temporal envelope is a low frequency amplitude modulation conveying segmental and suprasegmental information during speech ***,we seldom find ourselves in completely quiet listening environments and noise,commonly found in the surrounding environment,obscures both the fine structure cues and partly the temporal envelope cues in *** temporal content of speech emanating from noise is often enough to convey required information in normal hearing ***,the case is different in older adults(with and without hearing loss) who lack such capabilities due to the impairment in temporal *** calls attention of a researcher to delineate the importance of temporal enhancement of speech in improving speech *** are many temporal envelope strategies available in the literature,but each one has its own *** envelope enhancement by a deep band modulation(DBM) is found to be beneficial for those individuals who have had a temporal processing *** reason could be attributed to the 15 dB enhancement in the temporal envelope bandwidth between 3 and 30 Hz,extracted from each channel,which significantly increases the modulation depth such that masking of a consonant by a vowel is ***,output of deep band modulated speech is rescaled such that its duration increases and it provides relatively easy access to the word of the ***,in the near future,with more experiments related to DBM algorithm,it can be utilized in the rehabilitative devices to lessen the impact of the temporal processing impairment.

Aim To find the relationship of periodontal status and dental caries status with oral health knowledge, attitude, behavior, among professional students in India. Methodology In a cross sectional study, a total of 825 students （males： 577, females： 248） fi＇om six professions were surveyed using a self administered structured questionnaire including 41 multiple choice questions and the WHO Oral Health Assessment Form （1997）. The data was analyzed using the SPSS version 13.0 to perform the Student＇s t-test, ANOVA test, Scheffe＇s test and Chi-square test, linear regression analysis. Results The mean percentage scores of the students for knowledge were 53.25 ±15.05; for attitude 74.97±20.48; and for behavior 59.09 ±18.77. The percentage of students with calculus score was found to be significantly high （43.8%）. The percentage of professional students with DMFT〉4 was 14.1% and the percentage of students with decayed teeth was 46.2%. The regression analysis showed that the oral health behavior of the students was dependent on the attitude （P〈0.001）, but showed no significant linear relation with the knowledge. Also, that the mean DMFT score was dependent on the oral health behavior （P〈0.05）, but showed no significant relationship with the knowledge and attitude of the students. The periodontal status was independent on the knowledge, but showed a significant relationship with attitude and behavior of the students. Conclusion A positive attitude and adherence to good oral hygiene behaviors is associated with better oral health.

The magnesium alloys are considered to be the best structural materials,because of their advantageous weight to strength ***,the limitation in their real field applications lies on the fact that magnesium alloys are highly susceptible for *** corrosion behaviour of AZ31 alloy was investigated by electrochemical methods in sodium chloride and sodium sulphate of different concentrations at different *** corrosion rate was monitored by potentiodynamic polarization technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy *** surface morphology and surface composition of the freshly polished surface of the alloy was compared with that of the corroded surface by recording their SEM images and EDS,*** results showed that the corrosion rate of AZ31 alloy increased with the increase in the temperature of the medium and also with the increase in the salt concentration of the *** activation parameters for the corrosion process were calculated and interpreted.

Enhancement of thermal properties of conventional heat transfer fluids has become one of the important technical challenges. Since nanofluids offer a promising help in this regard, development of simpler and hassle free routes for their synthesis is of utmost importance. Synthesis of nanofluids using a hassle free route with greener chemicals has been reported. The single-step chemical approach reported here overcomes the drawbacks of the two-step procedures in the synthesis of nanofluids. The resulting Newtonian nanofluids prepared contained cuboctahedral particles of cuprous oxide and exhibited a thermal conductivity of 2.852 W- m-1. K-1. Polyvinylpyrro- lidone （PVP） used during the synthesis acted as a stabilizing agent rendering the nanofluid a stability of 9 weeks.

The corrosion behavior of Mg-Al-Zn-Mn(GA9)alloy in sodium sulfate solutions was studied over a range of concentrations and solution temperatures at different pH conditions by electrochemical techniques like Tafel extrapolation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The studies were carried out in solutions with sodium sulfate concentrations 0.1M,0.5M,1M,1.5M and 2M;and at five different temperatures of 30,35,40,45 and 50℃ in a pH range of *** per the experimental data,the corrosion rate of the alloy increased with the increase in temperature,and also with the increase in concentration of sodium sulfate in the *** was observed that the rate of corrosion decreased with the increase in *** activation parameters like activation energy,enthalpy of activation and entropy of activation for the corrosion process were *** surface morphology of the alloy was examined before and after corrosion using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).

Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is an intensifying disorder that causes brain cells to degenerate early and *** cognitive impairment(MCI)is one of the early signs of AD that interferes with people’s regular functioning and daily *** proposed work includes a deep learning approach with a multimodal recurrent neural network(RNN)to predict whether MCI leads to Alzheimer’s or *** gated recurrent unit(GRU)RNN classifier is trained using individual and correlated *** vectors are concate-nated based on their correlation strength to improve prediction *** feature vectors generated are given as the input to multiple different classifiers,whose decision function is used to predict the final output,which determines whether MCI progresses onto AD or *** findings demonstrated that,compared to individual modalities,which provided an average accuracy of 75%,our prediction model for MCI conversion to AD yielded an improve-ment in accuracy up to 96%when used with multiple concatenated *** the accuracy of different decision functions,such as Support Vec-tor Machine(SVM),Decision tree,Random Forest,and Ensemble techniques,it was found that that the Ensemble approach provided the highest accuracy(96%)and Decision tree provided the lowest accuracy(86%).
