Human emotions are considered to be contagious that can be transmitted from one person to another during social ***,interaction with people having excessive negative emotions may make other people *** this aspect into consideration,a SIR nonlinear model is formulated to investigate the transmission dynamics of depression in social *** qualitative analysis of the model,critical value of depression is *** equilibria,*** free and depression state,are obtained and their stability behaviors are *** stability analysis reveals the fact that both the equilibria are locally and globally stable,depending on critical value of *** sensitivity analysis of crucial parameters of critical value of depression is performed to point out the key parameters that can drastically influence the propagation of *** results demonstrate the importance of counselling for depressed persons in order to suppress the growth of depression in social *** model calibration has been done for the annual depression cases of *** results of our study show that individuals will catch major depression disorders more quickly once they get initially(primary)*** this,counselling rate for primary depressed population should be increased.

Water activity and glass transition temperatures of disaccharide based buffers for desiccation preservation of biologics

Studying the thermophysical properties of disaccharide based ternary solutions are gaining increasing importance because of their role as excepients in preservation protocols for biologics in general and mammalian cells in particular. Preservation strategies involve not only cryopreservation, but novel approaches like room temperature vitrification and lyophilization. In this study we investigate the water activity and glass transition temperature of citrate and tris buffers (widely used in the gamete preservation industry) with trehalose or sucrose after partial desiccation. After obtaining the water activity (aw) through equilibration at different relative humidity environments, we measured the glass transition temperature (Tg) of these partially desiccated solutions using a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The experimental data was used in conjunction with the Gordon-Taylor equation to obtain 3-D contours of Tg as a function of water content and relative salt/sugar concentration. Results indicate that the glass transition behavior is a strong function of the excepient combination. Overall, that trehalose solutions yielded larger values for Tg than sucrose counterparts at low moisture contents in combination with the same buffer. We also saw that citrate solutions yielded larger glass transitions than their tris counterparts. Based on these results, a trehalose-citrate mixture can be picked as the preferred composition for storage applications. The 3-D contours which show a wide variation in slope depending on the salt-sugar concentration constitute important information for the desiccation preservation of biologics.

Genome-wide association studies(GWASs) have been instrumental in understanding complex phenotypic traits. However, they have rarely been used to understand lineage-specific pathways and functions that contribute to the trait. In this study, by integrating lineage-specific enhancers from mesenchymal and myeloid compartments with bone mineral density loci, we were able to segregate osteoblast-and osteoclast(OC)-specific functions. Specifically, in OCs, a PU.1-dependent transcription factor(TF)network was revealed. Deletion of PU.1 in OCs in mice resulted in severe osteopetrosis. Functional genomic analysis indicated PU.1 and MITF orchestrated a TF network essential for OC differentiation. Several of these TFs were regulated by cooperative binding of PU.1 with BRD4 to form superenhancers. Further, PU.1 is essential for conformational changes in the superenhancer region of Nfatc1. In summary, our study demonstrates that combining GWASs with genome-wide binding studies and model organisms could decipher lineage-specific pathways contributing to complex disease states.
