Road traffic injuries and crashes are one of the major public concerns contributing to mortality and morbidity figures across the *** estimated that around 90%of all causative factors for crashes are attributed to road users of which drivers are the principal controlling ***,understanding complex human driver behavior and their possible violations or errors are necessary to control and prevent accident occurrence to a considerable *** on driver behavior of commercial vehicles such as trucks are scattered widely and scarcely explored hindering the possibility of road safety *** underscores the need to excavate and synthesize the past studies for an effective understanding of human factors causing truck *** this paper,an attempt has been made to systematically review the pieces of literature and to identify the causative factors affecting truck driver *** trend of studies shows a promising framework for improving truck driver safety on taking care of human factors influencing *** kinds of literature have cited unsafe driving behaviors as a predominant source of truck *** outcomes of this research can be utilized by transportation firms and stakeholders for identifying the possible lags to develop pragmatic and possible effective preventive measures featuring truck driver safety.

In order to improve the mechanical properties of powder metallurgy （P/M） ferrite-pearlite steel, a dual phase （DP） ferrite-martensite steel was produced through intercritical annealing of sintered P/M preforms. Mi-crostructures of the sintered and DP steels were examined with optical, scanning and transmission electron microscopes. Mechanical properties were evaluated through hardness measurements and compression tests. Microstructural studies revealed that sintered steel contained polygonal ferrite-pearlite while the DP steel contained polygonal, lath and acicular ferrite along with lath-type martensite as microstructural constituents. In DP steels, with increasing mean preform density, the microstructure contained fine and continuous network of martensite colonies with minimum porosity. The work hardening rate vs plastic strain plots （Jaoul-Crussard analysis） of both the steels revealed typical three stage deformation behaviour for low and high mean preform densities. Compression tests revealed that, DP P/M steel displayed higher strength-plasticity combination than the sintered steel.

The effect of sintering temperature on the densification mechanisms, microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of spark plasma sintered （SPS） compacts of a gas atomized Al-4.5 wt.%Cu alloy was investigated. The powder particles whose size varied between 10 to 500μm was subjected to SPS at 400, 450 and 500℃ at a pressure of 30 MPa. The compact sintered at 500℃ exhibited fully dense microstructure which was characterized by a uniform distribution of the secondary phase, free of dendrites and micro-porosity. Microscopy and the SPS data reveal that the events such as particle rearrangement, localized deformation and bulk deformation appear to be the sequence of sintering mechanisms depending on the size range of powder particles used for consolidation. The compact sintered at 500℃ exhibited the highest hardness and compression strength since the microstructure was characterized by fine distribution of precipitates, large fraction of submicron grains and complete metallurgical bonding.

The northeastern Arabian passive margin is being subducted beneath the Zagros and Makran of Iran. A flexural bulge related to the weight of the Makran has migrated at 4 cm/a through the previously uplifted Hajar Mountains of Oman as this active convergence and collision between Arabia and Eurasia progresses, adding approximately another 500 meters of relief, and forming a series of uplifted marine terraces, alluvial terraces, and planation surfaces that record the passage of the bulge. We use a combination of field studies, remote sensing and GIS to map and better-understand these terraces, and elucidate how the tectonics of bulge migration, down-to-trench normal faulting, and eustatic sea level changes have interacted to produce the extant geomorphic features on the inner slope of the flexural bulge as it sinks into the foredeep of the Gulf of Oman. We speculate those terraces that were uplifted on the outer slope of the forebulge as it initially migrated through the passive margin （affected by ophiolite obduction in the Cretaceous） 3.75-7.5 Ma ago are now sinking on the inner slope of the forebulge （corresponding to the outer trench slope in the foredeep）, and have been partly covered by Quaternary marine terraces related to a Weichselian sea level high stand. Both the Tertiary and Quaternary terraces are cut by faults related to the active collision, confirming that there is a significant risk of moderate earthquakes in the region.

Characterisation, Luminescence and Antibacterial Properties of Stable AgNPs Synthesised from AgCl by Precipitation Method

Silver nanoparticles （AgNPs） were synthesised using equimolar concentrations of redtlcing agent vitamin C and AgCl precursor by simple precipitation method. The synthesised AgNPs were characterised by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, UV-Visible, photoluminescence and field emission scanning electron microscopy （FESEM） analysis. The formation of AgNPs was confirmed by the typical surface plasmon resonance band at 426 nm. The presence of elemental silver and pure crystalline face centre cubic （fcc） structure was confirmed by energy dispersive X-ray analysis and XRD analysis, respectively. The FESEM images showed the formation of spherical AgNPs for lower concentrations （0.1 and 0.3 mol/L） while spike and flower shaped particles were formed for higher concentration. Photoluminescence characteristic band was observed with no shift at 390 nm indicating the stable nature of AgNPs. The antibacterial property of the AgNPs was tested against gram negative bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using Cissus quadrangular as a control and the result showed that vitamin C reduced AgNPs have good antibacterial activity.

Objective:To assess the larvicidal and egg hatching inhibition property of the leaf essential oil of Cocrinia indica（***） against Anopheles stephensi（***）.Methods:The larvicidal potential of *** leaf essential oil was evaluated against 1st.2nd.3rd and 4th instars larvae of *** using WHO *** 24h LC50and LC90 values of the essential oil were determined following probit *** egg hatching inhibition activity was also tested at *** 60 mg/L The IC50 value of essential oil was determined against eggs of An. ***:The essential oil extracted from *** possessed excellent larvicidal and egg hatching inhibition activity against *** bioassays showed LC50—LC90of 54.3- 140.***.65.5-155.6,86.8-180.7 and 95.3-192.6 for 1 *** 4th larval ***. The 5095 egg hatching inhibition concentration(IC50) was noted at 16.5 mg/***:The present finding suggest that the *** leaf essential oil provided an excellent potential for controlling *** mosquito at earlier stage of their life cycle.

The low surface area,high recombination rate of photogenerated charge carriers,narrow visible range activity,and difficulty in the separation from cleaned solutions limit the wide application of g-C_(3)N_(4) as a ***,we have succeeded in developing a one-pot strategy to overcome the above-mentioned difficulties of g-C_(3)N_(4).The broadening of the visible-light response range and inducing magnetic nature to g-C_(3)N_(4) was succeeded by preparing a nanocomposite with Fe_(2)O_(3) via a facile solvothermal *** preparation method additionally imparted layer exfoliation of g-C_(3)N_(4) as evident from the XRD patterns and TEM *** strong interaction between the components is revealed from the XPS *** broadened visible-light absorbance of Fe_(2)O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) with a Z-scheme photocatalytic degradation mechanism is well evident from the UV-Vis DRS analysis and PL measurement of the composite with terephthalic *** active species of photocatalysis were further investigated using scavenging studies in methylene blue degradation that revealed hydroxyl radicals and holes as the major contributors to the activity of Fe_(2)O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4).

A project-oriented organization is a hybrid form of organization where a functional hierarchy is augmented with structures to manage projects strategically across the *** project-oriented organizations from diverse industries that emphasize innovation in their strategies were selected for this *** use the three pillars of institutional theory—regulative,normative and cultural-cognitive—and institutional entrepreneurship to analyze interview data from executive and project,program and portfolio management personnel in the project-oriented organizations to investigate how innovation is facilitated through external influences and internal *** findings indicate that processes and new structures provide effective ways for innovation and,while individuals are important,processes are more effective than individuals at enabling *** put forward some lessons for practice that emerge directly from the findings,including suggestions on improving allocation of resources,a need to focus on processes,reconceptualization of“failure”,and dedicated investment in market knowledge,customer knowledge,performance metrics and flexible governance structures.

Antiproliferative effect of silver nanoparticles synthesized using amla on Hep2 cell line

Objective:To synthesize silver nanoparticles by amla extract,screen the cytotoxic,oxidative stress and apoptotic effect of silver nanoparticles（AgNPs） on Hep2 cell line（laryngeal carcinoma cells） in vitro,and to compare the effect of Phyllanthm emblica（***）（amla） with AgNPs synthesized by amla and ***:AgNPs was synthesized by ***（aqueous extract） and nanoparticles were characterized UV-Vis spec,the presence of biomoloecules of amla capped in AgNPs was found by FT-IR analysis,shape and size were examined by SEM and *** of experimental drugs was tested to find IC50 *** generation in cells have been measured by DCFH-DA ***-EtBr,Rhodamine-123 staining and DNA fragmentation were performed to assess apoptotic cell death,mitochondrial membrane potential and apoptotic DNA damage,*** stress was analyzed by measuring lipid peroxides and antioxidants level lo understand the cancer cell death by pro-oxidant mechanism. Results:PE-AgNPs was synthesized and confirmed through kinetic behavior of *** shape of PE-AgNPs was spherical and cubic since it was agglomerated,and the nanoparticle surface was *** particle size distribution of PE-AgNPs was found to be 188 *** biomolecules of *** such as polyphenols were capped with AgNPs and reduced its toxicity. In cytotoxicity assay the concentration in which the maximum number of cell death was 60μg/mL and 50μg/mL for ***（alone） and AgNPs,respectively and IC50 values were fixed as 30μg/mL and 20μg/*** generation,apoptotic morphological changes,mitochondrial *** damage and oxidative stress was observed as more in AgNPs treated cells than in ***（30μg/mL）（alone） treated cells and 5-FU treated cells gave similar result. Conclusions:The results suggest that the AgNPs are capped with biomolecules of amla enhanced cytotoxicity in laryngeal cancer cells through oxidative stress and apoptotic function
