We have analyzed the solar irradiance data from the Earth Radiation Budget Satellite （ERBS） during the time period from 1984 October 15 to 2003 October *** first filtering the data by Simple Exponential Smoothing,we have applied the periodogram method to the processed data in order to search for its time *** study exhibits multi-periodicities on these data around 110,118,574 and 740d with very high confidence levels （more than 99%）.These periods are significantly similar to the periods of other solar activities which may suggest that solar irradiance may be associated with other solar activities.

Stress and emotion are associated with several illnesses from headaches to heart diseases and immune deficiencies to central nervous system. Terminalia arjuna has been referred as traditional Indian medicine for several ailments. The present study aimed to elucidate the effect of T. arjuna bark extract(TA) against picrotoxin-induced anxiety. Forty two male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into six experimental groups(n = 7): control, diazepam(1.5 mg·kg^(–1)), picrotoxin(1 mg·kg^(–1)) and three TA treatemt groups(25, 50, and 100 mg/kg). Behavioral paradigms and PCR studies were performed to determine the effect of TA against picrotoxin-induced anxiety. The results showed that TA supplementation increased locomotion towards open arm(EPM) and illuminated area(light-dark box test), and increased rearing frequency(open field test) in a dose dependent manner, compared to picrotoxin(P d number of licks and shocks in Vogel's conflict. PCR studies showed an up-regulation of several genes, such as BdNF, IP_3, d_2L, CREB, GABAA, SOd, GPx, and GR in TA administered groups. In conclusion, alcoholic extract of TA bark showed protective activity against picrotoxin in mice by modulation of genes related to synaptic plasticity, neurotransmitters, and antioxidant enzymes.

The object of this article is to study and develop the generalized fractional calcu- lus operators given by Saigo and Maeda in 1996. We establish generalized fractional calculus formulas involving the product of R-function, Appell function F3 and a general class of poly- nomials. The results obtained provide unification and extension of the results given by Saxena et al. [13], Srivastava and Grag [17], Srivastava et al. [20], and etc. The results are obtained in compact form and are useful in preparing some tables of operators of fractional calculus. On account of the general nature of the Saigo-Maeda operators, R-function, and a general class of polynomials a large number of new and known results involving Saigo fractional calculus operators and several special functions notably H-function, /-function, Mittag-Leffier function, generalized Wright hypergeometric function, generalized Bessel-Maitland function follow as special cases of our main findings.

The main objective of the present work is to design aspirin nanoparticles loaded suppositories which will reduce the side effects caused by aspirin suppositories. Aspirin nanoparticles were prepared initially based on ionic-gelation mechanism and lyophilized. The prepared nanoparticles were evaluated, and the results confirmed that Fa9 formulation was the best with greater drug entrapment efficiency. Aspirin suppositories were prepared in order to investigate the best base composition. The prepared suppositories were evaluated and FS1, FS3, FS4, FSS, FS1 l, and FS12 were proved to be the best base compositions based on dissolution performed. The lyophilized aspirin nanoparticles of Fa9 were used to prepare aspirin nanoparticles loaded suppositories. The in vitro results revealed that Fasl 1 was the best formulation.

despite the seemingly exponential growth of mobile and wireless communication,this same technology aims to offer uninterrupted access to different wireless systems like Radio Communication,Bluetooth,and Wi-Fi to achieve better network connection which in turn gives the best quality of service(QoS).Many analysts have established many handover decision systems(HdS)to enable assured continuous mobility between various radio access *** is one of themost significant problems considered in wireless communication *** application needs a distinct QoS,so the network choice may shift *** achieve this objective and to choose the finest networks,it is important to select a best decision making algorithm that chooses the most effective network for every application that the user requires,dependent on QoS ***,the main goal of the proposed system is to provide an enhanced vertical handover(VHO)decision making programby using aMulti-CriteriaFuzzy-Based algorithm to choose the best *** Multi-Criteria algorithms and a Fuzzy-Based algorithm is implemented successfully for optimal network selection and also to minimize the probability of false ***,a double packet buffer is utilized to decrease the packet loss by 1.5%and to reduce the number of handovers up to 50%compared to the existing *** addition,the network setup has an optimized mobilitymanagement system to supervise the movement of the mobile nodes.

The effect of radiation on the unsteady natural convection flow past an infinite vertical plate is presented, wherein the plate temperature is a ramped one. The fluid considered here is a gray, absorbing/emitting but a non-scattering medium. The influence of the various parameters entering into the problem on the velocity field, temperature field, skin friction and Nusselt number is studied.

1-way multihead quantum finite state automata (1QFA(k)) can be thought of modified version of 1-way quantum finite state automata (1QFA) and k-letter quantum finite state automata (k-letter QFA) respectively. It has been shown by Moore and Crutchfield as well as Konadacs and Watrous that 1QFA can’t accept all regular language. In this paper, we show different language recognizing capabilities of our model 1-way multihead QFAs. New results presented in this paper are the following ones: 1) We show that newly introduced 1-way 2-head quantum finite state automaton (1QFA(2)) structure can accept all unary regular languages. 2) A language which can’t be accepted by 1-way deterministic 2-head finite state automaton (1dFA((2)) can be accepted by 1QFA(2) with bounded error. 3) 1QFA(2) is more powerful than 1-way reversible 2-head finite state automaton (1RMFA(2)) with respect to recognition of language.

Proterozoic orogenic belts and rifting of Indian cratons: Geophysical constraints

The Aravalli-delhi and Satpura Mobile Belts （AdMB and SMB） and the Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt （EGMB） in India form major Proterozoic mobile belts with adjoining cratons and contemporary basins. The most convincing features of the AdMB and the SMB have been the crustal layers dipping from both sides in opposite directions, crustal thickening （ -45 km） and high density and high conductivity rocks in upper/ lower crust associated with faults/thrusts. These observations indicate convergence while domal type re- flectors in the lower crust suggest an extensional rifting phase. In case of the SMB, even the remnant of the subducting slab characterized by high conductive and low density slab in lithospheric mantle up to - 120 km across the Purna-Godavari river faults has been traced which may be caused by fluids due to metamorphism. Subduction related intrusives of the SMB south of it and the AdMB west of it suggest N-S and E-W directed convergence and subduction during Meso-Neoproterozoic convergence. The simultaneous E-W conver- gence between the Bundelkhand craton and Marwar craton （Western Rajasthan） across the AdMB and the N-S convergence between the Bundelkhand craton and the Bhaodara and dharwar cratons across the SMB suggest that the forces of convergence might have been in a NE SW direction with E-W and N-S compo- nents in the two cases, respectively. This explains the arcuate shaped collision zone of the AdMB and the SMB which are connected in their western part. The Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt （EGMB） also shows signatures orE -W directed Meso Neoproterozoic convergence with East Antarctica similar to AdMB in north India. Foreland basins such as Vind.yan （AdMB-SMB）, and Kurnool （EGMB） Supergroups of rocks were formed during this convergence. Older rocks such as Aravalli （AdMB）, Mahakoshal-Bijawar （SMB）, and Cuddapah （EGMB） Supergroups of rocks with several basic/ultrabasic intrusives along these mobile belts, plausibly formed during an earlier episode of rifting during
