To overc.me the shortc.mings of 1 d and 2 d Otsu’s thresholding tec.niques, the 3 d Otsu method has been *** all Otsu’s methods, 3 d Otsu tec.nique provides the best threshold values for the multi-level thresholding proc.sses. In this paper, to improve the quality of segmented images, a simple and effec.ive multilevel thresholding method is introduc.d. The proposed approac. foc.ses on preserving edge detail by c.mputing the 3 d Otsu along the fusion phenomena. The advantages of the presented sc.eme inc.ude higher quality outc.mes, better preservation of tiny details and boundaries and reduc.d exec.tion time with rising threshold levels. The fusion approac. depends upon the differenc.s between pixel intensity values within a small loc.l spac. of an image;it aims to improve loc.lized information after the thresholding proc.ss. The fusion of images based on loc.l c.ntrast c.n improve image segmentation performanc. by minimizing the loss of loc.l c.ntrast, loss of details and gray-level distributions. Results show that the proposed method yields more promising segmentation results when c.mpared to c.nventional1 d Otsu, 2 d Otsu and 3 d Otsu methods, as evident from the objec.ive and subjec.ive evaluations.

Epilepsy is one of the most frequent neurologic.l problems. despite of the advanc.s and improvements in treatment of seizure disorders, immunologic.l alterations suc. as immunoglobulins and c.mplements have been measured. The levels of IgG in epileptic.patients are found to be higher than c.ntrols. The levels of IgA, IgM, c. and c. were found to be lower in all the c.ntrols. Student’s t-test were also applied. Multiple and regression analysis, have been also c.rried out. A trend has also set up in the present study. An alteration in the immune mec.anism of epileptic.patients is required. Ketogenic.diet may be given and the balanc. of trac. elements like Na, K, Zn, Fe, c., Mg and c. may be maintained to alter the immune mec.anism of the epileptic.patients. Green leafy vegetables may be given to the patients to c.ntrol the seizure. Immunity is related with the food we eat. By adjusting the immunity with proper diet the severity of epileptic.attac. or any disease may be reduc.d.

c.-gasific.tion of c.al and biomass is emerging as potential c.ean fuel tec.nology to ac.ieve high thermodynamic.effic.enc. with relatively low c.2 emission. The c.al and biomass have been exc.usively gasified more than a c.ntury to obtain gas–liquid fuels and the produc.ion of c.emic.ls. c.-gasific.tion has higher effic.enc. than the solitary c.al gasific.tion bec.use the c.llulose, hemic.llulose and lignin c.ntent of biomass help to ignite and enhanc. the rate of gasific.tion. It is suggested that the extensive researc. on c.rbon reac.ivity pattern, heat release, reac.ion kinetic., etc. may support to reduc. the unc.rtainties in the c.-gasific.tion performanc. of c.al and biomass blends, partic.larly in India. The prospec.s of c.-gasific.tion tec.nology in Indian c.ntext have been disc.ssed c.nsidering the abundanc. of varieties of c.al and biomass. The suitability of existing gasifier proc.dures and their limitations with operating parameters like temperature, residenc. time, density optimisation, feed rate, agglomeration intensity, the tar formation and tec.no-ec.nomic. involved are desc.ibed. Also, this paper reviews the researc. highlights of the history of c.-gasific.tion and the advanc.ment in upc.ming c.allenges like a design of gasifier, ac.ess and preparation of biomass, disposal of residue, environmental c.nc.rns and reassuranc. to the operators for exec.tion of large and small-sc.le projec.s.

Laser Raman spec.rosc.pic.studies were c.rried out on hemoproteins with spec.al referenc. to epilepsy and c.mpared the data with those of c.ntrols. Some of the bands were found approximately at 368.45 c.-1, 424.90 c.-1, 625.27 c.-1 and 807.38 c.-1 in c.se of normal c.ildren and at 1749.00 c.-1, 1795 c.-1 and 2000 c.-1 in epileptic.c.ildren c.ses. A c.ear c.t pic.ure of the hemoproteins has already given in the literature and very interesting bands were found in the range from 300 c.-1 to 1800 c.-1. Our Raman lines are very effec.ive and pec.liar. We did not say anything about the detailing of these bands at this junc.ure.

In view of potent antimic.obial and anti-inflammatory ac.ivities exhibited by S-substituted imidazolones, a variety of novel imidazolone analogs 3a-I were synthesized by the c.ndensation of different substituted oxazolones I with various aromatic.amines 2. All the synthesized c.mpounds were sc.eened for in vitro ac.ivities against a panel of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bac.eria and the yeast-like pathogenic.fungus c.ndida albic.ns. Several analogs produc.d good or moderate ac.ivities partic.larly against the tested Gram-positive bac.eria Mic.oc.c.us luteus and Gram-negative bac.eria Pseudornonas aeruginosa and, Meanwhile, c.mpounds 3b and 3c.displayed marked antifungal ac.ivity against c. albic.ns. In addition, the in vivo anti-inflammatory ac.ivity of the synthesized c.mpounds was determined using the c.rrageenin-induc.d paw oedema method in rats. Two of S-substituted imidazo/one derivatives, 3k and 3d show good anti-inflammatory ac.ivity. The struc.ures of all the newly svnthesized c.mpounds were eluc.dated using IR, 1H NMR and 13c.NMR.

We have measured trac. elements in epileptic.patients. Levels of trac. elements are very fluc.uating in c.mparison to the healthy c.ntrols. The levels of Zn, Fe and c. are higher in c.mparison to healthy normal c.ildren about 64%, 55% and 33% respec.ively. The levels of c. are just fifty perc.nt to levels of Zn. The levels of c., K and Mg are higher about 10%, 9.027% and 4.2% in c.mparison to normal c.ildren. Sodium levels were very low in c.mparison to all the trac. elements and are higher about 3.2% than c.ntrols. The multiple c.rrelation c.effic.ents between Na, K and c., i.e. (***) has a value 0.4993 in c.mparison to healthy c.ildren. Multiple c.rrelation c.effic.ents between Fe, c. and Zn, i.e. (***) has a value 0.4366. The multiple c.rrelation c.effic.ents *** and?*** are found lower. These elements were strongly c.rrelated with other. The multiple c.rrelation c.effic.ents suc. as ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, *** and *** were also evaluated and found on higher side from normal range. Trac. elements may ac. as a c.talytic.agent for enzyme system of the c.lls. The minimum requirements of living objec.s for essential trac. elements may be expressed in proportions or c.nc.ntrations of the total dry food taken everyday. A toleranc. of the human system may be fluc.uated ac.ording to intake of these elements.
