To develop more efficient chemical methods for the demineralization of organic pollutants from water bodies, which one was also mimic to the nature, a degradation of methylene blue by Fe(Ⅲ) and H 2O 2 in the absence of light instead of Fe(Ⅱ) and H 2O 2 was studied. results showed that use of Fe (Ⅲ) is more promising than Fe(Ⅱ). The present study reflects that Fenton reaction is more efficient, in the presence of a small amount of salicylic acid is added which is a one of the priority pollutant.

The Chlorella microalgae were mixotrophically cultivated in an unsterilized and unfikered raw foodprocessing industrial wastewater. Both inorganic carbon （CO2-air） and organic carbon （wastewater） were provided simultaneously for microalgae growth. The aim of the study is to find out the utilization rates of total organic carbon （TOC） and chemical oxygen demand （COD） under mixotrophic conditions for a given waste water. About 90% reduction in TOC and COD were obtained for all dilutions of wastewater. Over 60% of nitrate and 40% of phosphate were consumed by microalgae from concentrated raw wastewater. This study shows that microalgae can use both organic and inorganic sources of carbon in more or less quantity under mixotrophic conditions. The growth of microalgae in food-processing industrial wastewater with all studied dilution factors, viz. zero （raw）, 1.6 （dilution A）, and 5 （dilution B） suggests that the freshwater requirement could be reduced substantially （20%-60%）. The degradation kinetics also suggests that the microalgae cultivation on a high COD wastewater is feasible and scalable.

We present some classes of solutions for dust matter coupled to the string cloud in five-dimensional Kaluza-Klein spacetimes. The solutions have one or two distinct singularities depending upon the sign of the constant of integration. Some of the classes of models exhibit inflation in the initial stage. The behaviour of associated parameters has been discussed in detail.

The purpose of the investigation was to study the effect of binary and ternary blends of cement on the mechanical properties of pervious concrete(PC)specimen through destructive(DT)and non-destructive testing(NDT).Various combinations of fly ash(FA),limestone powder(LP),metakaolin(MK),and silica fume(SF)as mineral admixtures have been investigated to partially replace the cement up to 30%by weight in *** cube specimens of size 150 mm×150 mm×150 mm of binary and ternary blends of mineral admixture of pervious concrete were prepared to conduct standard compressive strength test and split tensile test at 7 and 28 days of *** ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV)test and rebound Hammer test were used as a non-destructive testing tool to substantiate the robustness of PC and to determine the approximate mechanical properties where other destructive testing tools are not feasible in case of inplace pervious *** the pervious concrete made with LP based ternary blends(PLM and PLS)were found to perform better than FA based ternary blends(PFM and PFS)and control mix(PC)in destructive and non-destructive testing.

Video inpainting is a technique that fills in the missing regions or gaps in a video by using its known *** existing video inpainting algorithms are computationally expensive and introduce seam in the target region that arises due to variation in brightness or contrast of the *** overcome these drawbacks,the authors propose a novel two-stage *** the first step,sub-bands of wavelets of a low-resolution image are obtained using the dualtree complex wavelet *** algorithm and auto-regression technique are then applied to these subbands to inpaint the missing *** fuzzy logic-based histogram equalisation is used to further enhance the image by preserving the image brightness and improve the local *** the second step,the image is enhanced using super-resolution *** process of down-sampling,inpainting and subsequently enhancing the video using the super-resolution technique reduces the video inpainting *** framework is tested on video sequences by comparing and analysing the structural similarity index matrix,peak-signal-to-noise ratio,visual information fidelity in pixel domain and execution time with the state-of-the-art *** experimental analysis gives visually pleasing results for object removal and error concealment.

An effective interionic potential calculation with long range Coulomb, charge transfer interaction, covalency effect, short range overlap repulsion extended, van der Waals interaction, and zero point energy effect is implemented to investigate the pressure dependent structural phase transition (ZnS-type (B3) to NaCl-type (B1) structure), and mechanical, elastic, and thermodynamic properties of silicon carbide (SiC). Both charge transfer interaction and covalency effect are important in revealing the pressure induced structural stability, Cauchy discrepancy, anisotropy factor, melting temperature, shear modulus, Young’s modulus, and Grüneisen parameter. We also present the results for the temperature dependent behaviors of normalized volume, hardness, heat capacity, and thermal expansion coefficient. SiC is mechanically stiffened and thermally softened as inferred from pressure (temperature) dependent elastic constant’s behavior. The Pugh’s ratio ? = B T / G H, the Poisson’s ratio v, and the Cauchy’s pressure C 12-C 44 for SiC ceramic confirm its brittle nature.
