Ferro-floating memory:Dual-mode ferroelectric floating memory and its application to in-memory computing

Various core memory devices have been proposed for utilization in future inmemory computing technology featuring high energy *** memory is considered as a viable choice owing to its high integration density,stability,and reliability,which has been verified by commercialized ***,its high operating voltage and slow operation speed issues caused by the tunneling mechanism make its adoption in in-memory computing applications *** this paper,we introduce a dual-mode memory device named“ferro-floating memory”,fabricated using van der Waals(vdW)materials(h-BN,MoS2,andα-In2Se3).The vdW material,α-In2Se3,acts as a polarization control layer for the ferroelectric memory operation and charge storage layer for the conventional flash memory *** to the tunnelingbased memory operation,the ferro-floating memory operates 1.9 and 3.3 times faster at 6.7 and 5.8 times lower operating voltages for programming and erasing operations,*** dual-mode operation improves the linearity of conductance change by 5 times and the dynamic range by 48%through achieving conductance variation ***,we assess the effects of the variation in device operating voltage on neural networks and suggest a memory array operating scheme for maximizing the networks'performance through various training/inference simulations.

Effect of extrusion ratios on hardness,microstructure,and crystal texture anisotropy in pure niobium tubes subjected to hydrostatic extrusion

Nb tubes were fabricated through hydrostatic extrusion at extrusion ratios of 3.1 and 6.1 at ambient temperature,and then their microstructure,texture,and Vickers hardness were investigated based on electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD)*** fraction of low-angle boundaries(LABs)largely decreased with a sharp decrease in mean grain sizes after hydrostatic extrusion and was not proportional to extrusion ratios,assuming that mixed-asymmetrical junctions forming LABs dissociate at high extrusion ratios from the external stress(>981 MPa)with thermal activation by the generated *** correlation between grain size and Vickers hardness followed the Hall−Petch relationship despite the texture gradient of theá111ñcyclic fiber textural microstructure at low extrusion ratios and theá100ñtrue fiber textural microstructure at high extrusion *** increase in hydrostatic pressure on the Nb tubes contributed to texture evolution in terms of extrusion ratios due to the difference between{110}and{112}components based on EBSD data.

Study on denoising filter of underwater vehicle using DWT

In the step processing a digitalized signal,noises are generated by internal or external causes of the *** order to eliminate these noises,various methods are *** these noise elimination methods,Fourier fast transform(FFT)and short-time Fourier transform(STFT)are widely *** they are expressed as a fixed time-frequency domain,they have the disadvantage that the time information about the signal is *** order to overcome these limitations,by using the wavelet transform that provides a variety of time-frequency resolution,multi-resolution analysis can be analysed and a varying noise depending on the time characteristics can be removed more ***,in this paper,a denoising method of underwater vehicle using discrete wavelet transform(DWT)is proposed.
